the seventh seal Auron-X I wouldn't mind having an iPod (gotta love that touch-wheel thingy lol), if I like won it for free or something. But I dunno about actually buying one since i've heard off some people about several bad things about it and stuff (battery, easily scratched... stuff like that), well this is mainly for the Nano xP. I'd prefer gettin' stuff from iRiver, especially the iRiver T30 (1GB) - I want that. Right now I have some cheap Omni MP3 player, lol. 1GB? gonk IPods are easily scratched, but from what I've seen people usually prefer to have some sort of case or covering; Apple also has cleaning product that works pretty well for fixing scratches and the like so I don't think it's that big of a deal. Haha, yeah. It beats my current 512 MB one and as of right now I think i'd be fine with 1 GB, I can live without some SONGS which are currently in my playlist (on comp. that is) xP. SD: That sucks big time. Stupid Apple.

Auron-X Haha, yeah. It beats my current 512 MB one and as of right now I think i'd be fine with 1 GB, I can live without SONGS which are currently in my playlist (on comp. that is) xP. SD: That sucks big time. Stupid Apple. I guess I've spoiled myself. I'd be upset if I had to be cut down to that little music. Apple's only half stupid; they have many of the best ideas, but seem to lack on a lot of simple, important areas. S:

heres the bottom line.
cdplayers are basically just as good as mp3 players
bad things about cdplayers are the size, sound skipping, and the fact they are battery hungry demons.
the good things about cdplayers are the ease of use, avaliability/and/or/pricing, and is comepltetely independant of other devices.
good thing about mp3 players are the size most are, ease of playing mp3 downloads (PvP USER'S DREAM, solid state storage (most... stupid ipod minidisks), and cool factor (for all you trendwhores)
the bad thing about mp3 players is the dependability on other devices (coughcough IPOD), expensive internal battery (coughcough IPOD), the price of the device, and what bothered me the most is that when i was at the mall and i purchased lets say a brand new skinny puppy cd, i would have to wait until i drove ALL the way home, turned the computer on, ripped the cd, and transfered the songs, only then could i listen to it on the go

I have an iPod mini. It's silver. I love it. I also have a CD player, but rarely use it, as I'm lazy and it's easier to just pick a random song I want to listen to than try to find the cd that has it, put it in my player, and then get to the song. xp
Also, I have a strong dislike for the Nano...and the new "Video" iPod. They're lame. Lammmee, I say!

i have a silver ipod mini also. but its a paper wieght now. the battery finally died on me and the mini harddrive got damaged. and im not kidding, its a $250 paperweight now. ugh.

my Ipod died in 3 days, and I didn't do anything to it.
I baught a 256mb daewoo (who wudda thunk it?) MP3player, and it has lated a good 2 years.
I use it everyday. Even as I type this.

Bob Dobbs I'm old school, I use a walkman. xd ZOMG I haven't seen one of those since... lala years. XD I mean, noadays it's almost scary when people use cassette players. Now isn't that scary? isn't it?? X3 @Raggard: Yea, the ipods have their disfunctions. Good things it's not as much. The statistics on them breaking is... well almost a rare chance. Of course this happens to many other MP3 players and electronics as well. You can of course try to call Apple and see if they can repair it for you at a cost. It can be pricey but it may be the worth while. ^^; @Kaiiriin: I have never heard of those before... or seen them. What does it look like? o.O;; @Ljthegreat: My friend has a daewoo he's pretty happy with those. :3 They're nice, but not my style.

I really like the changes Apple has been doing to the ipods sales and such.
For instance they don't sell the regular Ipod anymore, it's Ipod Video, which is the same price as the Ipod when it came out, it's color screen, you can watch videos and look at photos, and it's more thin, not as thin as the Nano.
Which i'm also glad they stopped selling the Nanos. Sucky peices of trash.
And I have well over 4gigs of music.
I'm all about the Video Ipod.
