On topic: I heard about this article before, never read it though, but the first time I heard about it my friend and I were laughing our asses off. It's so stupid. If a girl ingests testosterone, it doesn't mean she's going to start growing a p***s, so why would the reverse occur if a man ingested estrogen? It's such an ignorant and biased opinion. It honestly makes me sad about humanity. And laugh lots too.

And a little FYI: soy milk isn't milk at all, it's a bean...so it's juice. And is nutritionally close to cow's milk.

He seems mostly ok with tofu, but soy milk makes his throat start to swell, not his idea of a good time. I'll be sure to tell him to stick with Dairy Queen ice cream, it tastes better anyways, and it's actually ice milk, not ice cream. McDonalds soft serve has that "edible petroleum product" taste and feel anyways.

I read an article similar to this a few months back and knew about the estrogen (which is actually an estrogen-like chemical and not actual estrogen) before that. I would be cautious of over consumption of soy (especially while pregnant) because of it, but I don't think it's a reason to completely avoid soy altogether.
I seriously doubt that it turns men homosexual, though. At one point I thought it might be possible, but in reality, not all homosexual males are feminine. Additionally, even if a male was feminine, that doesn't automatically make him homosexual.
Theories like this probably keep popping up because people want to identify the source of homosexuality and avoid it at all costs. Some people will think that they are accepting enough by having a homosexual friend, but once their son or daughter "come out", they have a hard time dealing with it.

Actually you can eat as much soy as you want while pregnant, it doesn't do any kind of damage at all.
Seriously when this kind of s**t pops up I usually only scowl and tell off anyone who actually believes it. I feel pretty confident in knowing that the scientific community doesn't let stuff like this pass as real science anymore.
