Guievere listened intently as he spoke. She could just imagine flying through the skies during a sunset with him and felt a heat rise in her cheeks. "That must be wonderful, and you're beautiful - I mean the colors are beautiful," Gwen stumbled over her words but didn't stop messaging his back until the knot was gone. "That should do it," she smiled warmly still a little embarrassed.

Shilah, blinked, caugh off guard by her words yet again. His face grew warm when she called him beautiful. Though that was not normally what you'd call a male, he felt so...nobody ever treated him like this. He turned once she finished and looked her in the eye, smiling warmly, face still slightly red. "You know..the sunset is nowhere nearly as beautiful as you Gwen.." He gently brushed his paw against her cheek, praying he did not just make a mistake.

Guinevere had hoped he hadn't caught what she said. She wasn't surprised that he had, but was surprised at how loving he was. "Thank you," was all she could manage for a moment as he brushed his paw against her cheek. Gwen took a step closer to him and nuzzled him lovingly. Looking back into his eyes, she saw a handsome lion that was gentle and loving.
A warm smile reached her eyes. "I wouldn't mind flying with you every evening."

Shilah smiled as she moved closer, and nuzzled her in return. He then looked into her eyes as she had looked into his. He felt so..happy around her. So at peace, unlike when he was around any other lioness. "I'd love that.." He licked her cheek and draped a wing gently over her, keeping her close to him.

Guinevere felt safe around him. She wasn't scared she'd say something stupid or wrong, then feel stupid later. Really it was the opposite of that. He was a calm lion she was comfortable being around, and she didn't have to try and talk. Around others, she'd force herself to stay and try not to run away because she was shy.
"I would too," she said leaning against him with her eyes closed, as she moved closer still.

Shilah purred as she moved closer, holding her closer to him until their sides touched. He smiled warmly..no...lovingly at her, a glint in his dark eyes. She had never feared him. She accepted him though he looked like a monster. Nobody had ever accepted him before. He licked her cheek, his paw and wing draped over her. "I have a question for you Gwen..."

She lied her head under his chin and rubbed against him. Gwen purred as he licked her cheek, and nuzzled him back. She looked up into his eyes and saw the beautiful twinkle. "Yes Shilah?" Guinevere asked. Her tone was loving and kind as she responded.

He held her close to him, smiling lovingly. "Will you be my mate? Make me the happiest lion in the world?" He nuzzled her cheek, waiting for her to respond. He had never felt so happy since he had met her. She warmed his heart and made him smile. He would love her for the rest of his life if only she'd say yes.

Guinevere was shocked at the question for a moment. Her mind was beginning to cloud with so many worries. But as he held her close to him, she felt herself clam down. Her mind cleared, and one answer stood out. It was simple. He made her feel welcome and safe. Her heart was once just a caged, shy thing. But he warmed it. Now it was a blooming emotion of love for him.
"Yes, I'd love to," Gwen said softly. She'd love him and would be by his side until the day she died.

Shilah continued to hold her close to him, purring when she said yes. A tear rolled down his furry cheek. He didn't care if she saw. He was naturally soft that way. He knew then that he would always be with her, loving her and showing her how beautiful she really is. "I love you so much Gwen..." Licks her cheek and nuzzles her chin.

Gwen licked his cheek and smiled. "I love you with my whole heart Shilah," she whispered.
((Uh. . .We can go to the cubs since they've arrived already. Unless you want to go to the pregnancy))

((We can go ahead and skip the pregnancy. I want to rp the cubs before they grow again :] ))
Guinevere sat outside under the shade of a tall tree. She watched as Damien tried and tried again to get his wings to work. "You've almost got it, don't worry about flying until you've learned to work your wings," she said encouragingly. Her voice was soft and hinted with tenderness as she watched her little boy.
He almost had it! C'mon flap! Flap! Damien thought trying to imagine himself flying high above the ground in the skies. He longed to fly freely and feel his wings cut through the wind. Watching his mother and father before as they glided gracefully, he wanted so much to match their grace and beauty.
"Yes!" he smiled happily as he hovered for a minute in the air, then gently floated back to the ground.

Shilah watched his mate couch their son on with a tender smile. They had been blessed with their two cubs so quickly. It was really amazing. He tickled his daughter's belly as she squirmed. She was in a rather playful mood today.
While her brother tried to fly, Isuka was playing with her dad. Ever since she could open her eyes she'd been close to him. She adored her mother, but just stuck to him. A good label would be Daddy's little girl. "Eee! Daddy!" Bats at his big paws as he tickles her little tummy.

Guinevere looked over at her mate lovingly. She heard the giggles coming from her daughter and her smile warmed. "Let's go show your father," she said watching as her little boy touched gently to the ground. Her eyes were filled with joy. Gwen was surprised at how quick the cubs had come, and was full of pride that Shilah and her were blessed with such sweet lions. She followed after Damien, still the smile warmed more. "Hello my love."
Damien bounded over to his father with a grin spread across his. "Daddy! daddy! Look what I can do!" he took a position a feww fet in front of his sister and father, then began flapping his wings. He managed to get almost a foot in the air before floating back to the ground. "Sissy I can teach you!" Damien was so proud he was able to hover above ground, even if it was only for a few seconds.
