Mike blushed more as the kiss got deeper. He didn't even care when the rest of the bar gave out a cheer. He even smiled a little when Crux yelled at them. He deepened the kiss just a little, not wanting it to end yet. It was as if they were in their own world, just the two of them.

Crux's heart beat against his chest as Mike deepened the kiss, his head swam a little with the alcohol and the taste of it on Mike's lips. "Mmm. . . Perhaps we better stop this now, unless you want to go back to my cave. . ."

Mike regretfully let the kiss end. He felt a little dizzy and light-headed, an after effect of the kiss and the alcohol. He blinked a little, and shook his head. The alcohol had already started working on him. He wondered what that kiss would have tasted like without the alcohol giving it so much flavor. He took another look around the bar, noticing that most eyes were in their direction. "Maybe we should leave." His shyness was setting in again, especially after such a display. "How about we go for a walk?"

"I don't know if we should do that Mike." He leaned his head back and closed his eyes, trying to get himself under control. "If we do go out of this bar and go on a walk then I might do something I'll regret. I don't want to push you into anything you're not ready for."

Mike nodded in understanding, taking a deep breath in hopes in slowing down his heart. He glanced at his glass. He knew that wouldn't help clear his head any. He looked at Crux again, taking in his face more.

Crux was regretting he'd said anything, but then he decided to ask anyways, "We could still go out. . . It's up to you."

Mike nodded. "I am willing to take the risk." he smiled a bit, his head not spinning as bad now. He wasn't sure how well he would be able to stand, though. He tilted his head, unsure what to do.

Mike tilted his head the other way, a habit he would probably never grow out of. "I was saying it would be alright if we went on a walk." He looked down at his feet. He wasn't scared of being alone with Crux. He wasn't sure if he was ready to go beyond kissing yet...

Crux nodded and was glad to get things out in the open. "I'll respect that." He stood up and gulped the rest of his mead. Ahh! So refreshing. "Let's go then."

Mike nodded, and using the table for extra support, he stood up. He half-stumbled on the first step, something that wasn't uncommon for him, and caught his balance by the second. He looked at Crux and smiled a little, not wanting him to get alarmed. He ducked his head a little as he walked towards the door, not making eye contact with any of them as he passed.

Crux glared at all of them as he walked a little bit ahead Mike, daring them to laugh at Mike just once. "It's okay Mike, they'll forget about it by tomorrow." He sighed a bit as the air of the newly opened door rushed out to cool his heated flesh. He shivered a little bit before his skin started to cool. "It's gorgeous out!" And indeed it was, the dark night sky was clear and illuminated by his great grandmother. Centaurus winked happily beside her, forever with his love. "Hey Grampa and gramma!" He waved with his free hand as he walked through the door.

Mike nodded again, and looked up when the cool night air hit his face. That helped clear his head more. "A very nice night to be out walking." he agreed. Mike followed Crux's gaze up to the sky and waved, too. "Hello" he called out in greeting.

"My grams will make sure everyone gets home okay. But perhaps you should sleep on the lounge in my cave tonight. I'll sleep on the floor and everything will be okay." He nodded and suggested. He smiled at Mike's wave to his ancestors. He was just too cute.

Mike laughed a bit. "I don't really have a home to return to." He smiled over at Crux. "But I don't want you to get cold sleeping on the floor." he looked a little worried at the thought. He didn't want Crux to get sick because of him.
