Dante had already gotten a couple plates out and some glasses and set them on the counter. When Marcia showed up he motioned over to the plates. "Don't be shy, come on in and get the food." He turned the burners off and drained the pasta. Leaving a utensil in each pot to be used getting the food.

"Hope you like steak and pasta, its what I tend to eat. Or something similar to this." He grabbed a plate and put a lot of pasta on it and a nice size chunk of steak next to it. He filled the cup of water and took his half finished beer with him.

He sat down on the table and grabbed some silverware setting them on the table. "So which room did you pick and how do you like the place?" He smiled as he cut up his steak and mixed it in with the pasta.

Daiyu sat on the bed while Marcia started to unpack some. She watched Candy do flips on the bed before it was time to eat. She was picked up and put back on her shoulder as they went to the kitchen. Candy just followed and climbed up onto the ceiling swinging on the stationary pipes that were over head and ran across the wall.

Dante shrugged, "Thats what the sauce is for. I have steak, meat, the pasta and beer, grain, sauce has vegetables, meat has some fat and Parmesan cheese is the dairy. All the things for a balanced diet." He smiled as he continued eating. He took a quick swig from the beer to wash it all down.

"Glad to hear that you are enjoying the place. It is a big place, actually bigger than most HCs. I can hold one more Zoid than the rest." He nodded as he looked around. It was great to have a customized Transport Zoid. Worked great and did exactly what he needed it to do.

"How many missions have you been on before and whats your style? Are you a distance fighter or close combat?" He took another bite as he waited for her to speak. He loved this food.

Daiyu smiled and bowed slightly, "You are welcome, it was fun." She sat there watching them eat. She folded her hands, "Do you have family Marcia?" She tilted her head slightly looking at Marcia waiting for an answer.

Dante nodded, "Yea I hear you there, I haven't really done any missions either. Just random fighting when people are feeling frisky." He chuckled and shrugged finishing off the plate in front of him.

He thought about it for a moment, "Well thats good then. I am well rounded. I have two large guns on my back, learning how to fire both at the same time. I can also attack with my wing blades though." He thought about it, "So we should be able to work well together, either complementing each other with distance and close combat. Or by both working on the opponent up close."

Dante ignored the question Daiyu had asked Marcia. Just making note she had family. He took a swig of beer and looked over at the food thinking about having another plate or not. He was sort of hungry but at the same time he wasn't. He'd see if he was still hungry in a bit.

Daiyu nodded listening to Marcia. "Thats nice to have family. This is my own family and the only I have known. Dante doesn't have any living family." She shrugged a bit and looked at Dante noticing that he wasn't paying attention and looking away. She knew he didn't really like the topic of family and hoped he wasn't too upset at her.

Dante looked back and nodded as she spoke about the Zoid and thought. Seemed like the SkullGreymon was as vicious as he looked. Probably not really one he wanted to mess with. Glad he was on his team and he could use that intimidating look to his advantage in a battle. The more they could instill fear in and make run away was more they didn't have to fight.

"Yes I agree, it has come in very handy to be able to run almost as fast as the fastest ground Zoid and hold my own in the air. In the air the kick from the guns are more noticeable though. Makes aiming a bit more difficult." He shrugged, he was able though so it wasn't a big deal.

He noticed that she whispered to Daiyu but that didn't really bother him. He took another sip of beer. "So how is it piloting your Zoid? Aeris is normally very compliant and a very smooth ride." He was already pondering some tactical maneuvers they could do in the middle of a fight.

Daiyu smiled looking up at Marcia. It was nice having people she cared about and that took care of one another. "No worries. Everything is ok." She nodded, it was really up to Marcia if she wanted to talk about it or not. "So what are you going to put up in your room?"

Dante smiled and chuckled at the stubbornness of her Zoid. "I have heard that before, there are some that I used to battle with that it was obvious the pilot and Zoid weren't on the same page. Maybe we should try some exercises with you and him so you can gain a bit more control over him?" He thought about the possible training exercises that they could go through.

"Maybe a sparring match would help show him that he needs to listen if you want to succeed in a fight. Up to you though, we could stop going to the city. Spar and then continue on our way." He leaned back obvious he doesn't care about sparring or not. But thinking about ways to help where he could.

"For your room, when we get to the city we could do some shopping. I need to grab some replacement parts and you can grab some stuff for your room." He thought about his room. Maybe he should decorate it some. It was funny Daiyu must have known what he was thinking.

Daiyu listened to them talk and about a sparring. That would be interesting but when he started talking about shopping she chuckled. "Dante has like no decorations in his room. Maybe when we go, I will pick some things out for him." He smiled innocently up at Dante as she sat there.

Dante thought about it and nodded, "Well instincts can save you but when you gain more experience you won't need to rely on them so much. It will be nice though to test out Aeris's new weapons. I haven't fought since I got her back. We have just done some aerial drills and ground drills to learn her new maneuverability."

He watched her reaction, "I wouldn't say I am overly experienced, just had some battles. I am sure Aeris could surprise him. It would be interesting to see his reaction when such a small Zoid can hit him really hard."

He looked over at Daiyu and bopped her on the head lightly. "I am a guy, I am not supposed to have a lot of decorations. Just what is needed, but I guess I can let you decorate it some." He smiled and poked her making her wobble a bit.

Daiyu smiled, she hadn't gotten to see Aeris in action lately. She wished that she could fuse with her again and help out. She would just have to sit in the cockpit with Dante to learn when she might be needed for the future. "Ok thank you Dante. I will try to keep it minimal and slowly get it decorated."

She looked up at Marcia, "I would love to go with you and explore the city a bit more. Dante doesn't go to all stores, just hardware stores, part stores and other such mechanic related stores." She nodded, it would be nice to see other parts of the city than what Dante had shown her.

Dante smiled and picked up his plate setting it on the counter. "Well when would you like to try? We could wait until after you turn in the mission." He started packing up the extra food for later use.

"Just remember, I won't go easy on you. I will be going all out on you until its over." He smirked as he looked at her over his shoulder cleaning his dishes. He wondered how she would take it and what she would do.

Daiyu laughed, "Dante is not very colorful. It sounds like fun. I hope to see what we can do." She looked up at Dante as he went through his cleaning routine. "A sparring match would be interesting to see. It would be good practice for both of you." She nodded and was somewhat excited to be able to watch it.
