Here's a myspace message on the subject... and the source of the Name 'Clarence'.
----------------- Original Message ----------------- From: Terrance Zdunich Date: 28 Nov 2008, 10:27 PM
LOL. We never gave GR a "real" name in the script. I suppose that if REPO were the real world, then a guy like GraveRobber would probably have been raised by a preacher in a small middle-American town, and would have had a unassuming name...like, like Clarence T. perhaps...and he would have rebelled against all that he WAS by painting his face white, leaving the farm, and relocating to some strange city where he changed his name and started dealing. But I chose to write and play Mr. Robber almost as other-worldy - i.e as someone who could've sprung out of the world, almost like an immortal who sees all and knows all. I mean, when you're watching REPO, does anyway really want to know about how GraveRobber never got along with his dad?
Does this answer your question? Oh, mad one?
T
(end message) So... personally, I like Gabriel.

Commence your g r o v e l i n g Rotti, your k i n g is dying... ------------------------------------------------Terrence and Darren always have an answer for everything when you ask them about movie questions... may it be silly or not, it instantly becomes canon... like the contents of Zydrate. If any of you go to the upcoming showings(lolEurope), be sure to ask them.

Well, let's not take it out of context. Essentially Clarence is just a hypothetical name that TZ came up with.
*I* am the one who just so happens to liek Gabriel. I think it fits him, but that is just I, Peaches, speaking.

Sanguin B- That makes two things we can agree on, to start with. Gabriel being beautifully ironic for GR... And Drew Sarich kicking a**. Peaches wants a duet from Drew and Terrance. kthnxbai.
And Swift- LOL! I love that freaking recipe. Do you have a copy of it somewhere?

"Zydrate is 3% bleach, 2.5% placenta, whatever percent is left there is heroin and pre-c**. Put it in a blender for 2.5 minutes on a frappe."
I think that's right. I'm at my friend's right now so I don't have my headphones, and my laptop speakers suck. Source is this video.

I am very proud of him for not trying to do the math. Makes him sound brighter than if he'd gotten it wrong, IMHO.
