"Hey!" He flailed a little, snorting. "You're supposed to throw it, not eat it. Doof."
He grumbled, sitting back and thinking. "... Let's play Truth or dare." He lit up all over again, grinning wide. That game was way funner then some silly old game of catch! And it also meant the potential for great fodder for blackmailing Duncan into going along with his pranks.

Ah, what a great friend, thinking of blackmailing the one person that wouldn't kill him if he did! Oh well. Such was the life of a brilliant man.
"Truth." Because he didn't want to have to run around naked outside or something.

And of course, Alister would've told him to do something crazy like that. For the lulz, man, for the lulz.
"Boring." He stuck his tongue out, leaning back thoughtfully. "Hmmm. Who's your favorite 'goyle? And you gotta be honest." He grinned. Leave it to Alister to look for an ego boost first round.

Duncan blinked, taking another bite of his apple. Was there any non-embarrassing way to answer this? ...no. Not really.
"You. Probably." The 'probably' helped a little.

But wasn't the embarassment worth Alister's face lighting up again? ...No, probably not. Since it didn't take much to make Alister happy anyway.
"Good answer. Dare." He grinned, moving the egg out of his lap in preparation for whatever the dare was.

Duncan didn't seem to react to the smile as he thought. There were no dares that could possibly humiliate Alister any more than he already had been. That, and Duncan was not the most evilly creative person out there.
"I dare you to...go outside and moon the first person you see."
That was pretty humiliating!

Alister blinked at his dare, and grinned slowly. "Creative." He snorted, getting up and wandering to the edge of the cave. He went outside, looking around, and frowned a little. "I don't see anyone out--" Ha! There was someone.
He took a deep breath, then swooped down. A few seconds later, there was a girlish scream, a loud WHACK sound, and Alister was flying back up to the cave, rubbing where he'd been smacked across the face. "Ow." He muttered, fuming a little. "That hurt. Did she scratch me?" He pointed at his cheek, pouting a little. Jeez, women overreacted sometimes...
Although wagging his bare behind at her probably didn't help.

Duncan, rolling in laughter, nodded. Oh man. He'd done it! Alister, he adored you and your lack of shame.
"Out of fairness, dare!"

Despite his sore cheek, Alister couldn't help grinning at Duncan. He just rolled his eyes, snorting, and nodded. "You know this is going to be awful, don't you?" He warned, crossing his arms.
"I dare you to fling your loincloth at the first gargoyle you see." He sat down. "And obviously you have to bring it back because I don't need to see you naked." He smirked at him, eyes gleaming. Oh yeah. This was a proof of just how mature Alister wasn't.

Duncan blinked.
"That would require me flinging said loincloth, and then running to retrieve it naked."

"So you better fly fast, Dunc."

"Oh come on!" He snorted laughter. "If you're lucky it'll be a small one. Not a kid, just someone short." He snickered. "It'll be funny!"

Duncan looked down at himself. He was...unreasonably tall. The way he saw it, a short person would be even more embarrassing. If he was more attractive, perhaps it wouldn't be a problem, buuut...
"No."

Alister sighed deeply, rolling his eyes at him. "Fine, fine." He grumbled, crossing his arms thoughtfully. "Truth or dare, then?" He asked, eying him.
Silly Duncan and his self-hate. It would've been hilarious to watch him darting around trying to get his loincloth back, though...
