Nicholai Garving As soon as Nicholai stepped outside, his phone rang,"Hello? Yeah dad, I'm on my way to the hospital right now, no I didn't forget." It had been his father reminding him that his mother had chemo that afternoon and to head over to the hospital. 'I can't believe that she only has a few days left to live,'Nicholai muttered to himself before walking over to his car and sitting in it for a few minutes and taking a breath from his inhaler again.

Reensmee looked at her mother. "Yea, sure," Nessie said sarcasticly,"I'm so excited to not know anyone." Hadn't her mom already gone through this. Didn't she know that it wasn't all that exciting. She rolled her eyes. "Oh, and why are we in the car if all we're doing is going hunting?"the vampire with a beating heart

 Bella laughed again. She wondered why nobody was answering on the other line. She looked at her phone. It was dead. Oh well, Esme would call back later. She stuffed her phone into her purse. She got out of the car and waited for Renesmee to get out. She turned around and jumped to the other side of the river. She waited patiently for Nessie to jump.

Nicholai Garving Nicholai sat in his car, letting the tears fall before his phone rang again. "Nicholai? Your mother had a heart attack, they couldn't save her, I'm sorry,"Nicholai's mouth dropped open when he heard his fathers words. "No...NO!!"he screamed angrily at the dialtone. He was crying now, full on sobs as he coughed and wheezed for air. He clutched his shirt, gasping for air. Sitting in the Cullens driveway in his car crying, he felt his throat constrict as he wheezed helplessly.

Renesmee, Renesmee Carlie Cullen
Renesmee opened the car door and closed it slowly. She walked over to the river. Nessie looked over her shoulder to make sure the human was gone. Then, she hopped over the river and landed in a catlike motion. She quickly made her way over to her mother. "Wanna race mother?" She was going to get her back, and one way to do that was to beat her at something. She knew she could beat her, as she had her father's speed. She started running. She concentrated on feeling the stretch of her legs, and the steady pulsing of her heartbeat. She had made it to the hunting grounds in record time. She waited for her mother. When Bella got there, Renesmee gave her a smug look. Then she heard a screaming sound and wiped the smugness off her face. "Momma, what was that?"the vampire with a beating heart

Bella started running. Renesmee beat her. All the sudden she heard a scream from the mansion driveway. Bella froze. Then she looked at Nessie. "Mama what was that?" Renesmee had asked. She looked at her again. "I don't know, the only one who was at the house was...Nicholai!" Bella said. Bella was confused. Nobody came near the Cullen mansion. Well, vampires came but, not non-vegatarian vampires. "We have to go now!" Bella said to Renesmee. Bella started running. She stopped at the river and jumped. She hurried into the car, waiting for Ness. When Ness got there, Bella started to drive. She was going 105 miles per hour. When they arrived, Bella looked at Nicholai to see if there was any harm done to him. Nothing, but why woulkd he scream? "What happened?!" Bella blurted out to Nicholai. She waited for a reply.

Nicholai Garving "My mother just died from a heart attack,"Nicholai choked out with a sob before coughing again. His hand was still gripping his shirt as he struggled for breath. Fresh tears spilled down his cheeks as his breath whistled in his chest. Bringing his inhaler to his lips, he struggled to take a breath from it before going into a coughing fit.

Renesmee,  Leah Clearwater
Leah opened her eyes from her nap as she heard a screaming sound. She could tell by the sound that it was a human. She stood up, still in her wolf form, and ran up to the Cullen mansion. She slid to a stop when she saw a car. She tried to look through the window. It was hard, as the windows were tinted, but she could just barely make out the shape of a human. She was probably making him more distressed though. Nobody gets happy at the sight of a huge gray wolf beside your car.________________________________________________________________________________________ Renesmee Carlie Cullen
Renesmee stood beside her mother, watching her mother blurt out demands to the human. He looked very distressed. She watched her mother and the boy closely, taking in every detail of what was happening. After all, she'll have to show the rest of her family what happened. She started to bite her lip. Luckily, she didn't have venom like the rest of her family, as biting her lip was a habit, and if she had venom, she'd have to sit and feel the cool liquid go through her lips. That feeling would be very distracting at a time like this.the vampire with a beating heart

Bella looked at him. She felt bad. "I am so sorry!" Bella said. "Can we get you anything?" Bella aske dsuddenly. "You are welcome to anything!" Bella said as she looked at Nessie. She knew Nessie wouldn't like her saying that. Then Bella looked at Leah. She didn't know what to say to anyone. She looked at all three of them. Her eyes riveted back and forth. She pulled her cell phone out and dialed Esme's number. Her phone was still dead. "Renesmee, could you go get the house phone for me please?" Bella asked. She waited for a reply.

Nicholai Garving Nicholai sat there, he was breathless and he was coughing uncontrollably. Because his chest was so tight, he couldn't really speak without wheezing. Nicholai looked at them with panic, he knew that the asthma attack wasn't getting any better and rasped out two words,"C-can't br-breathe."

Renesmee nodded to her mom. She walked, at a human's pace which she wasn't happy about, into the house. She grabbed the phone off the reciever and walked, again at a human's pace, to her mother. Leah watched as Renesmee dissapeared into the house, came back, then went and sat on a rock. She went over to sit beside her. Renesmeewas the only vampire she actually liked, as Nessie was still partially human, and therefore, almost normal. Then again, Leah wasn't normal either. But, she just didn't like vampires. Still, she liked Nessie for some reason. Probably because of her human half.the vampire with a beating heart

Bella's eyes went wide. Her eyes were still flickering back and forth. She rushed to her car. "Will you two help me?" Bella asked as she picked Nicholai up, and placed him in the car. "We need to go to the hospital to see Carlise" Bella said. She waited for them to help. As she was doing this, she dialed Esme's number. She once again waited.

Renesmee ran to her mother's aid. She was thirsty, so she would have to hold back from killing the human and drinking him dry. She's never had a mistake and didn't plan on having one now. She waited for her mother to get off the phone and get the person into the hospital. She watched as Leah went behind a tree and came back in her human form to help. Nessie was angry that they all had to give away their secrets. Especailly since most people thought these things just didn't exist in reality.__________________________________________________________________________________________ Leah Clearwater
Desperate times call for desperate measures, thought Leah. She'd have to change forms fast, even if it meant this human would find out. She ran behind a tree quickly. She changed into a human and slipped on her clothes as fast as she could. Once she was ready, she ran out from behind the tree and stood by Bella and Renesmee. Bella was still on the phone. She left a message saying they needed help...and fast! "Renesmee, can you sit in the back with Nacholai until we get to the hospital? Otherwise you can drive." Bella said. She looked at Leah. "You could sit in the back if you want to?" Bella asked. "All I know is that we need to get him to Carlisle!" Bella said. "So tell me what you guys want to do please." Bella said. She waited for them to reply.

 Esme pulled into the driveway when she saw Bella and Nessie with frantic looks on theirs faces. she quickly got out of the car. "Rose is he having an asthma attack?" she asked but she took a needle out of her purse. "Carlisle called me after your phone cut off. He told me to get this needle and put it in his chest if he is in trouble." Esme put the needle in his chest and watched him breathe again.
