-Roman thinks.-
"there was a lot for her to cause her to leave."
"Doesn't help with Micheal be too damn protective of her.. It's why he went missing recently.. it's going to be his true death in the end."
PostPosted: Sun Apr 19, 2009 2:08 am

"Micheal?" Isley repeated as she gathered the six cards up and placed them back on the deck before picking it up and beginning to shuffle them again. "I suppose that would be another one of your kind regarding the 'true death' comment there at the end?"

"And would you like a seat as well, Clearon, sir? You can bring over a chair if you'd prefer to sit. I can give you a reading of your own as well if you'd like. I do past life readings, answer specific questions you might have, relationship questions, to just the general reading if that's what's wanted. "

"No past life ones please..."
-He thought about the chair and then his name and chuckled a bit.-
"No I am fine thank you."

"what about the general reading?"
PostPosted: Sun Apr 19, 2009 2:38 am

Seeing as the vampire pushed the name he mentioned aside, Isley thought better than to push the topic any farther.

"A general reading is made up of three cards, one each for the past, present, and future," she said as she began to lay the cards once again on the table in front of her.

"Your past," Isley said as she looked over the cards and then skimmed back to the first one, "you backed down from the challenges you faced, either because you were too afraid of what could happen or couldn't summon the willpower to change the situation."

"Presently, you've escaped what it was that had you chained down in the past, but either only barely due to your own efforts to break free or now that you are free from the old bonds there is something else holding you back."

"As for hints to the future-"

Isley paused.

The woman looked at the deck sitting off to the side and then back at the card on the end.

"There is a reunion with someone that may cause you more pain and problems than what might make you happy."

"Pain great at least I can look forward to that again."
-he was nonchalant about it, then he folded his arms.-

"Micheal, yes he is my sire actually.. he really cares for the ranger and truthfully I am not sure how she feels about him... honestly I think it's hopeless for him to care for her. It makes Kiru uneasy and distant where he used to be like an older brother too us both..."

Isley looked up from the cards, unflinching at his words though she looked sympathetic. "I'm only the messenger and this is only what the current path is. Nothing to come is set in stone."

"She certainly does have the Edge as her mentor would say," Isley muttered. Foolish young woman wasting her life the way she was.

"Sounds like this Kiru might be jealous perhaps? Or maybe he just doesn't trust her to keep your secrets from the rest of human kind? Granted, she is a hunter," Isley pointed out. "Maybe he just doesn't want to see you two get hurt?"

-Roman thinks-
"I hope it's something of the sort of that."
-He looked at Sondra-
"You want to try?"

-Sondra looked at the cards- "What about my love life?"
PostPosted: Sun Apr 19, 2009 3:12 am

"You might want to bring your chair closer to the table," Isley said to Sondra as she shuffled the three cards back into the deck, "and you, Clearon, might want to take a few steps to the side. I like trying to keep the cards focused on who they're suppose to answer to."

"Now... Sondra? Did I get that right? Were you looking for more information about your relationship with a specific person? Or were you looking for what love might be in your future?"

-She stood up and brought the chair over as Roman stepped back.-
-and with a slight glance she gave Roman-
"future."

There was just the the tiniest of movement that Isley made to signify she caught Sondra's glance and she asked nothing of it. She flipped the cards and looked them over in silence, far longer than she had with Clearon's. She then shuffled the cards back into the deck and then pulled three new cards out onto the table, her fingers tapping on the table just below the cards as she looked them over with a frown.

"There is opposition to overcome. Something needs to end before the next can begin and that change may come unexpectedly. There maybe heartache but there is someone once everything runs its rightful course."

-She ponder on what it could mean and or if there was something she should do.-

"Can you do Micheal's even though he isn't here?"
PostPosted: Sun Apr 19, 2009 4:21 am

"I've done it before, but I generally don't prefer to do it without the other person present at least once," Isley said as she shook her head. "For example the ranger, but she was an odd case. If you have something that belongs to him, I'd be more willing to do it. Do you have something of his on you?"

"I need to take a quick breather though," she said as she pushed her own chair back and stood up. "Too many readings all at one time can make the later ones run bad with all the energies getting mixed up."

-Roman thinks-
"If you don't mind."

-Roman loosens the collar of his shirt to where a chain copper chain dangle about mid chest. He unlached one of the clasp and then another and pulled out what looked more like a delicatedecrative chained belt in a dream catcher web like patterns that hand feathers and beads made of rare stones..-

"Um ..."
-he hesitantly sets it on the table.-
"He has a knack for making treasures such as these..so far I believe he only parted with this of anything he owns."

"That will work," Isley said, nodding in approval as she stepped out from behind the table. Her gaze moved from Clearon, to Sondra, and back again. "Since the item belongs to you I must politely request that the Lady Sondra here give up her spot for you to sit." Isley pulled over another chair for Sondra but sat it farther away from the table.

"I'm going to step outside for a moment for some air. All I ask is that you please don't touch anything, especially the cards. I'll only be a minute."

Once outside the door she crossed her arms in front of her and leaned back against the door frame. Her eyes raised to the stars in the sky, tracing the patterns of constellations and thin wisps of clouds drifting by.

A feeling then drew her eyes down from the sky and look down an alleyway. She didn't see them anywhere but the other couple that Clearon and Sondra had traveled with must have chosen to go that direction.

After a few more breaths of night air, Isley returned inside and sat back down behind the table.

"Alright, back to business." She pulled her skirts beneath her as she settled in her chair. "You," she instructed to Clearon, "need to focus on the original owner of this chain, your friend. Don't think of anything else. Don't let your mind wander or this will taint the reading."

Isley grabbed a fair sized brown cloth from a shelf to the side and carefully picked up the chain with it. "Also, what kind of reading would you like me to do for him?"

-Sondra got up and sat in the other chair.-

-Roman was thinking about something before he sat in the chair that Sondra was previously in and then looked at Isley as just intrusted him to only think about Micheal.-

"How about a general one? or which do you prefer?"

-He was then thinking about Micheal how he was like when he first met him how he's been so kind to him always watching over.. how he always took on everything with out a second thought.-
