"Leto? Alter?" Alex asked, slightly intrigued. So far, Cain had been the only Audio he'd met in this new place, so he had no idea who either of them were.

"Mhm.. Leto and Alter." He left out the fact that Leto was his clingy shadow. And that Alter was his son. Not that he'd admit that anyway.

"Ok..." He had a feeling that Cain was refusing to tell him something about these two, but Alex decided to let it go. He must have had a good reason for it. Besides, Alex had kept information from him, too. Despite his obvious flaws, Alex usually wasn't cruel or violent without a good reason.

Cain was the exact opposite. He was ALWAYS cruel and violent, usually for no good reason. After what had happened to him, he just wasn't capable of being nice. This was all he knew, and Leto only fuelled it by letting him lash out at him.
"Yes.. I haven't seen Alter in a while.." He laughed. "I wonder how his plans are going..."

Alex just nodded thoughtfully. It obviously wasn't any of his business, and if Cain wanted him to know, he would tell him. He was just glad that he hadn't had a violent episode yet; he didn't feel like moving again so soon.

Cain rolled his eyes, twisting his dagger in front of him so it caught the light, glinting. He pointed it at Alex, one eye squinted as if taking aim. The grin came back on his face and he lowered his arm. "Well, I could say it was nice to meet you, Alex, but I really don't feel like it." He turned to leave again. "Later. Maybe the next time I see you, you'll be less boring."

Alex was tempted to snort to express his feelings, but he settled for rolling his eyes instead. "If you got to know me, you'd see that I'm far from boring."
