I stood, among the other kirin that were popping out of every place imaginable. It was shocking to see so many young ones here in this very time and very place. I threw my head back and balanced on my haunches, my forelegs lifted a tad before I tipped forward again. My eyes wandered over all that were here, then Toshiro spoke. Family? A Family? I want to go off and make my own family. I'll be like a neighbor. A loud obnoxious neighbor who you dont really love till they move away. Snort ripped forth my nares as I spoke a reply.
"A Family? Nah, Let's be Friends!"

"Alright, that works," Toshiro replied with a small smile. Having friends could be fun too. He glanced around briefly at all of the others that were popping up all over the place before turning his attention back onto Chevy. "Have you been out here for very long?" he asked curiously, making a stab at conversation. It wasn't really his specialty.

I glanced up at Toshiro, cocking my head to the side as my iridescent scruff of a mane sparkled in the sunlight. I thought about it for a second.
"Nope, Not at all. What about you?"

Xiang was quiet for a moment. "Well, we all came here for different reasons, and now that we've found each other, we're like a big family." The thought of everyone here being family pleased her and she smiled happily.

Toshiro shook his head in response, his chocolate mane tossing about. "Can't say that I have," he replied with a small smile. "Just came across this area earlier today really." He had been in search of his family, but what he had found instead was definitely unexpected.

Well. The female had come out. That was something at least, Lachtna decided, a bit bemused. When he turned back to his 'family', however, he was dismayed by what he saw. So many of their kind... too many. They would make so much noise, and he wouldn't get to nap whenever he wanted...
No. He and Toshiro and Xiang... that would have been fine. This was simply too much. He nodded firmly, then walked over to his 'sister', gently nuzzling her side. "I'm... going to go." he murmured quietly. "Goodbye. It was nice to be your family. Bye Toshiro!" he called, then, before anyone could answer, he began to sprint away, very much wanting to be by himself.

Toshiro was slightly dismayed to see Lachtna suddenly leaving their ranks- not that he completely blamed him though. The sudden influx of Kirin around them could be mildly intimidating. Although he wanted to call after the male, he let him go without a word. After all, he wasn't about to try to 'force' anyone to join this little family of theirs. Even if it were to remain just him and Xiang he would be more than happy with it. He flicked his ears in a thoughtful manner as he looked about at the gathering once more. How many would actually stay? It was hard to say at this point.

Xiang sadly watched Lachtna go. "I hope we see you again someday, Lachtna!" she called out. "It was nice meeting you!"

After a few more seconds, Toshiro started to get the feeling that perhaps Lachtna's escape wasn't such a bad idea. As much as he wanted a family, perhaps he should just start small. The colt clopped over next to Xiang and nuzzle her lightly. "Hey, Xiang," he said quietly. "How about you and I just go somewhere on our own for a little while? It might be easier to travel that way." Besides, he really wouldn't mind spending some more time along with the mare. It might have been selfish, yes, but that was just how he felt.

Xiang nodded. "Sure!" Happy to at least have made some new friends, she turned and walked out of the meadow, looking back to make sure Toshiro was following her.

Toshiro was mildly surprised that she had agreed to his suggestion so easily, considering how much she appeared to enjoy meeting others. He definitely had no complaints of it though and trotting along side her as they left the meadow behind them.
(Edit: Well, unless anyone else has something that they wish to add, I'm going to go ahead and close up this RP here.)
