The third pedestal seemed obscure as the two of them made their way to the next one. Myu entered the room and lightly placed her hand on the top all the while Nyx's aura seemed to dance back and forth around Myu as the mechanical noise rang out around throughout the entire ruin, but with this mechanical noise, Nyx seemed to sense something else. The door...Could it be open now? There was just something that told Nyx the door was somehow open...but how could they get back to the previous room? It seemed so far off now since they traveled to the other rooms. Was it honestly that far off or could it just be next door? Maybe...this funny feeling wasn't right. Maybe Nyx was just imagining it? That could be true...Nyx was just imagining it because all she really wanted was for this to be over, so Myu wouldn't hate her...even more than she all ready did...
But Nyx wasn't the only one that felt this strange shift in the air. Myu felt this odd sensation as well. Instinct...Something was telling her that they had succeeded, and now all that was felt to enter that room and hopefully the herb would be there as well. This quest...would be over, and the two of them could go on with their lives. But this Cloud...reminded her of someone...Could this connection keep them...connected? They were both Zahdl...They were going to save this world...but there was something else that bound them...
They both feared something...
It was stupid and petty thought that Myu simply brushed aside. Fearing things that are out of your control is an ignorant way to live your life. They were...both children in that aspect...They both needed to grow...
Looking about the room, Myu simply nodded her head in compliance. They would go to the next room to activate the pedestal...Hopefully this would be all over soon.
"To the next room then!" Nyx oozed out once more before could turn her back and walk into the circular hallway once again.

!EVENT!
As the final pedestal is activated, the sound of ancient machinery slowly creaking into action is heard from behind the walls. The previously locked door grinds sideways across the floor as it opens, the sound echoing througout the chambers.
The room beyond is faintly lit by four magical orbs, each sitting in a corner of the room, and a shaft of sunlight peeking from the ceiling and splashing over the floor in the center of the room. In the center of the room is a statue of what might have been a woman at some point, its features long since blunted and blurred by weather and time. The sunlight falls at the feet of this statue, where the floor had cracked and worn away.
Within this revealed patch of soil a patch of small yellow flowers bloom. The scent of vanilla fills the room...

After her display of temper at the shop, the sleepy Kaelyn left for the fields of waving green. The sky is clear and purely blue on this fine day.
Nodding once to herself, Kaelyn sits, using a piece of some ancient ruin sticking out of the ground as a seat. Unintentionally, her lethargy takes the better of her and she begins to doze off....

"There she is," Falco said as he banked slightly to the left towards a pile of rubble the stood out in the ruins. "But she seems...asleep...,"
"That's no wonder," Dirk muttered rolling his eyes. "Heck, I'd shave my head bald if she were to stay awake alone long enough to sing the alphabets finish,"
"Must you always be this tiring?" Falco asked casting a glance at the sprite sitting cross legged atop his head. "Can't you try to be nice for a change?"
"Nice? You trying to convert me or something?" the sprite replied rapping Falco's head smartly with his knuckles. "Listen Bird boy, I'm only sticking with you in the hopes that you would become less wimpy and more cold-blooded or you are never going to use me. You can count on that!"
"In that case, let's not use him," said Sarah with a tone of great dislike. "Let him rot,"
"Listen girl! You keep acting like a mother hen and this boy will forever remain a chick. Let's him grow and think for himself for wind's sake! Why if-,"
"We are here," sad Falco curtly as he landed beside the wind spirit.
