ToeboysGurl what are your schools like? I mean do they accept you for being gay/lesbian/bi or do they discrimnate, or just care less? the reason why I'm so curious is the fact my school is close minded, I'm the only not straight person that has come out in my group of friends. So ya I'm just wondering what they are, or were like. some people are very immiture at my school about it me I don't care what you are.

I heart heart heart my school. We have a HUGE gay community (probably the largest of all Hillsborough county schools), and even quite a few of our teachers are openly gay. We have an active GSA, and everyone is really open-minded about it (excluding 1/3 of the non-magnet students).

my school is weird. My friend Karen is for gay rights but everyone else isn't. They don't voice it but I think if anyone would say they were gay, people would beat them up (I hear the word "f**" alot in my day).

dont_cry_for_pain in my school if anyone finds out your gay lesbian bi or even curious, you become a social outcast in about five seconds flat, me and my gf wont dare even hold hands because we're too afraid people'll start bullying us and stuff, the last guys who once kissed had to transfer schools the discrimination was that bad, no-one gay bi curious or straight should have to go through stuff like that during school, it's barbaric what some people think of people different to them I wish I could be there to kick osme of their asses..... I would, too

My highschool didn't care. I was almost forced out. See I had an online profile for me seeking men. Well I guess imature people in highschool look online to see if their are any gays in town. I was so frightened when it was going around and I wasn't ready to come out. So I had told people that some jerk probably did it to make fun of me. Everything was fine, but I knew what my friends reactions would be to me coming out which I did on National Coming Out Day. Im in college now and their is a huge support group called the 10% society. I belong to it and thrive in my happiness here. BTW im bi.

And I just found out I was turning into her. Same blood type, same number (on this thing with genes) and same rather uncommon mutation. (No wisdom teath). It's not that uncommon, but it's still kind of weird.

KnightBlazer eh right now im in middle school, next year is HS. im debating weather to be more open or not in HS. i really dont know but if i do be more open than im for certain to be doomed. see my mom and her bf hate gays. if i told them i was even bi hed probably attack me and shed disown and throw me out most likely. she even told me she would. thats why i might run away out of state to my friends when im of the age to legally move out. maybe even earlier if things get worse im in the same situation. i suggest u either tell no one, or just a few close friends. they have a gay club at my hs, but i dont kno anything else...
