Myyth sat looking on one of the worn couches, steaming cup of coffee in her left hand. She still looked like a total wreck, if a clean one now. Cookie at least had read her mood correctly, and other than filling her cup up, he was letting her sit and brood. Not that she was getting anywhere with it, so far as that went. Maybe she should have let the two of them fight it out, it would have been beautifuly tradtional if nothing else. If stupid and ulimately a waste.
Not that this wasn't turning out to be more of the same. After giving Cookie a brief smile when her galanced in her direction, Myyth looked down into the dregs of her coffee. Maybe she should bump by Will's office? If nothing else he might be able to hook her up with some new weapons and a computer, since her stuff was either sealed up in her lab, or just gone. Meh, she'd have another coffee and think about it.

It was still early by the time Integra found the mess hall. Quickly, she peaked into the kitchen and saw it was empty of any staff for the moment. Perfect. The girl rummaged around the kitchen until she found enough ingredients to make up a batch of french toast with strawberries.
As she cooked in the empty space, she hummed to herself quietly, occasionally murmuring a few words. A heady aroma of spiced potatoes wafted up, mingled with the alluring smell the cooking french toast gave off. She smiled. It was definitely going to be a good breakfast.

Sady walked in and saw Integra making food and walked past her to the fridge and saw that they had some yogurt.
Sweet!
I hope it isn't always this hard to sleep around here.

Integra waved at Sady. "Do you want some? I'm a decent cook, I promise. No poison."
Integra found yogurt boring for breakfast. It was all right with something else at lunch, but she loved breakfast. "I'm used to not sleeping all that much, really, so I don't mind if it's always like this, I guess."

Sounds good to me. I guess I'm just not used to the noise after being in solitude training. I wonder if I can find a way to listen to some music.

Integra began cooking up additional food for Sady as well. "I'm sure you could pick up a stereo in the city. We definitely need to get some stuff there anyway."
Integra thought back to the dusty room she had spent the night in. "That room really needs some work; probably a new coat of paint too." Of course, she loved that sort of stuff. Creating a comfortable space that looked beautiful was something that the young woman enjoyed a great deal.
The hunter brought over place settings and several dishes of food on a wide tray she had found in her explorations to a table. "Shall we eat?"

That would be okay if we weren't on lock down right now. The room does need a little work though.
She looked down at the food and her stomach growled.
Looks great!

"Ah, yes, that is true..." Integra sighed. "Well, at the very least, we can wash everything in that room. Who knows? Maybe somewhere in this maze of a place there will be a bit of spare paint or something?"
Integra laughed when Sady's stomach growled. "Dig in." She offered, pouring herself a cup of hot tea. There was something comforting about the steaming stuff she adored.
"I hope we're not under lock down for long..." Integra hated being cooped up anywhere. It was nearly enough to make her want to leave the Haven. She shuddered and concentrated on her breakfast instead.
((s'ok. i tend to run out of thime these days myself))

Sady started eating thinking quietly to herself.
I saw a janitors closet on the way to the room. We could see what we have in there to use, and I saw some paint on a shelf in the garage. We could do that today. As for sheets and blankets and such we will have to make due until the lock down is over. They can't keep us in here long.

Integra dug into her food; she ate quickly and precisely and listened to Will's latest announcement.
"Wow...that sounded angry. I think I'll take care to avoid him for awhile, ne? On the plus side, we can go shopping!" Integra was still a girl at heart. Shopping was, afterall, shopping.

Sady heard the announcement and made a sigh of relief.
Shopping sounds awesome! Then, I'll grab an mP3 player just in case any of this happens again.

Quickly, Integra finished eating and began to wash her dishes, drying them by hand, rather than create more work for others using the dishwasher later. As she put items away, she began making a list. "Hmm... mp3 player, paint, dusting spray, a cleaning solvent, bed sheets and comforters, pillows--the ones in there are musty.... hmm.. I think that sounds all right for a very basic attempt?"

Its enough for now at least. That will probably take us all day. Sady finished eating quickly and washed her dishes.
We would need some clothes thought too.

"Ah yes, clothes are a good thing to have." Integra gave a half smile, remembering how she'd destroyed her clothes so recently. "Shall we leave once you're done?"
