Awww...so your only option is eBay or Craig's list or something. Don't be too worried about the DS one. Apparently there's a limit on the amount of units you can have so you have to let them die to get new ones. But then again I've not played it yet.
Anyway. for the RP. Can I use a Manakete?

You could if said manakete is an actual character in a game. That is really going to be my only requirement for the VGs, that they actually exist. Some of them are reserved, but I'm not going to say which ones unless someone asks for them.
Oh, wait, one exception: If the VG you want is a BOSS in a game, then I have the right to deny it. I won't for all of them, I will take each situation and judge it accordingly, but, you get the picture.

Kyo Kusanagi FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd have to think about this if we have to have two characters........ OMG!!!!!!!!!! Can I be like someone with the ability to use Yu-Gi-Oh cards? Except the cards come to life, like the rest of the characters. It would be kinda like Pokemon, battling with different types and whatnot. I would be Pegasus or the guy with Red Eyes Black Dragon (2nd fav. card..... not telling what the first is... tee hee) I think his name is Joey, cause the little 5 yr. old main character is retarded. If I can use Duel Monsters than I'll just have one character, as that will take a lot of thought to come up with plans and such for using my cards.

Kyo, you could... they do appear in video games... but I am going to highly discourage that. I will let you if you want, but I see that as causing problems down the road.

Problems such as? I understand if you think about the unlimited ways I could beat everyone, but I wouldn't God-mode. I would try to come up with creative ways to win my battles fairly, but I would give up if I know I am defeated. Also, just a thought... as this is your rp, but I would make a really good antagonist for the rp. If you think about it. I would have a lot of creatures at my disposal. At certain points in the rp I can release said baddies on the 'good guys'. As I said, I don't want to tell you what to do, I just thought I'd throw the idea your way.
