Just when you thought you knew everything....
1. In many states the highway patrol
carries two gallons of Coke in
the trunk to remove blood from the highway
after a car accident.
2. You can put a T-bone steak in a
bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.
4. The citric acid in Coke removes
stains from vitreous china.
5. To remove rust spots from chrome
car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap
aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
Drink up (or not)!
They did a whole bunch of experiments with Coke on Mythbusters. (Gee I love that show.)
They found out that most of those urban legends about coke are false.
The blood stains they tried to clean up didn't really turn out any better with coke.
The T-Bone steak was just a soggy smelly T-Bone after a week, which might have been slightly more tender than it started with.
Regular orange juice happens to have more citric acid than coke.
However, they thought the coke worked better at cleaning chrome than proper chrome cleaner did.
