"I can make it," Kamia nodded meekly, "I'll be fine." Some of her newfound confidence leaked away a bit as Harmoniae announced her plan to catch up... Kamia was glad to have found friends... and she was slowly getting a bit more at ease around them... But walking alone with another dragon... Without anyone else to draw attention away from Kamia... And with a male, no less...
"Oh, heaven help me," she thought to herself. She forced the smile to remain on her face. "Shall we go, then?" she asked Spruce, hoping that she sounded bright and cheerful. "You should lead the way... because I'm not sure where this cave is."

Harmoniae nodded, breathing a sigh of relief. "Good. You need warmth, you must be cold." She smiled warmly at Kamia and turned back to her work.
Spruce nodded and smiled. He felt excited to be going somewhere with Kamia; she was a very pretty dragon, and he was getting to like her...a lot. "Sure!" he grinned. "I'd love to show you the way. Come on, over here." He padded away, turning back occasionally to see that she was following. Over the meadow, still lightly frosted, and towards the other end of the narrow valley as the sun set. It was getting on towards twilight, but it was only a short journey to the cave; a narrow opening that lead to a large yet cozy cavern. It was the perfect place, with a fresh, clear spring running through it; he and Harmoniae had stocked it full of moss and bracken to insulate it. He paused at the entrance and smiled at Kamia. "Welcome to our home, sweet home!" he announced happily.

((OOH! OOH! Idea for place to break it off: Spruce tries to kiss her, and then Harmoniae comes back? whee And then the second rp is of Kamia trying to figure stuff out with Spruce? Eh? Eh?))
Kamia followed Spruce quietly, wincing slightly with each step. She slithered through the narrow opening and her mouth formed an 'o' of surprise. It was... Beautiful... Large... Open... Maybe a little too much so. She felt... exposed... The stream was beautiful. She could smell the water in the air... beautiful... She had the urge to run over and drink a gallon of the stuff...
But she couldn't do that with Spruce around...
The moss on the ground was like a cushion under her feet, bending softly down - did she weigh too much? should she go on a diet? - and... and the whole thing was wonderful.
"Wow," she breathed, "this is..."

((I love that idea! xD [Dies of laughter]))
Spruce nodded. "Yeah, we were pretty surprised when we first found it, too. Well, when I found it. Harmoniae's such a stick in the mud. She didn't want to go in here, but I did..." He trailed off. There I go again, just gushing along, ignoring my tongue... "Sorry, I gush in the presence of pretty girls." Bad. Spruce resisted the desire to bash his head against the wall. Why did he keep doing that?!
Before he knew quite what he was doing, Spruce's muzzle was reaching forward to touch Kamia's and his tongue was slipping out towards her nose.
Harmoniae swiftly buried the rabbit and trotted briskly after them, enjoying the evening air. The sound of voices wafted from inside the cave as she slipped in. Her eyes narrowed with disgust as she saw her cousin. "SPRUCE!!!" she shouted.

(( twisted I'm so mean to my characters. twisted ))
Kamia froze. Pretty girls? He thinks I'm... Pretty?
Suddenly, Spruce was leaning toward her. He had a weird look on his face. His mouth parted slightly. Kamia closed her eyes, trembling, cringing away slightly. What is he doing? What are we doing? What-- She felt his breath on her face, and all thoughts ceased.
"SPRUCE!!!" came the screech.
Kamia vaguely registered that Harmoniae was back. Then her eyes shot open and she skittered back a step or two, stammering. Even if she got her tongue under control, she had no idea what she would say... What could anyone say under this kind of circumstance?
Because it was undeniable that the circumstance was this:
Spruce had just tried to kiss her.
