Anya quirked an eyebrow comically at Bai's pun, "That was rather ridiculous.... I didn't expect you to be one to make a pun..." She giggled and mentally rolled her eyes at the ridiculousness of men before continuing, "Void... hmmm... how interesting... And... what is your power?" Anya was genuinely curious about Bai, wondering what he could do with his domain. She smirked inwardly, thinking about her own powers, while listening to Bai's question. She paused slightly, thinking carefully about her answer, and then replied, "Mmmm... well.. me? I like to do a whole manner of things. But, singing and dancing are my favorite pastimes, yes. I know it may seem a little vain for me to say this, but I do love the sound of my voice." Anya smirked and held Bai away from herself and preformed a small pirouette before pulling him back to herself and and continued their dance.

Bai to bash his head into the boulder due to his stupidity, 'I am such an idiot, how cheesy can I get?' He nodded," ah ha yes well..." he frowned and tilted his head to the side, "power? hmm well I've never felt the need to find out" he shrugged his shoulders, "I suppose it would have to be something rather shocking..." he stared off into the distance and shook his head. "So what's your power?" he raised an eyebrow rather intrigued. "Ah and you are quite good at them..." he paused thinking about how terrible he was at both, "with a voice like yours who wouldn't like to hear themselves? they would have to be quite deaf," he chuckled and watched her with a smile.

Anya smiled, a tricksters gleam in her eyes, as she replied on the topic of powers, "My power...? Oh... it is a fun one indeed..." Her fingertips grew warm as she pressed them against Bai's skin. Then, suddenly, yet slowly, little will-o-whisps began flickering into life one by one. They floated and danced about the pair as they danced, humming slightly. The floating embers were bright orange-red in color, and flashed as they moved about in small patterned swirls. They were eye catching, and if one were to look at them, they would find themselves being pulled into a sort of trance as they watched the magical little embers move about. Anya's voice was lowered into a whisper as she tried to spell Bai into a slight trance, "Pretty aren't they.... They help me get people to do what I want..." Her voice was silky smooth as she let her words slide out of her mouth, being only slightly as influential as she could be if she really tried.

Bai nodded before looking at her hand slightly surprised to feel the sudden warmth. His eyes were drawn up as he turned to gaze at the flickering embers, "fascinating," he murmured in awe. The tiny cinders dancing about them, it was almost hypnotizing the way they moved... He shook his head suddenly, "yes quite beautiful..." he raised an eyebrow and cast a glance at her, the way she spoke was as if she had an important secret to tell, something he should pay close attention to, "and what exactly do you want people to do?" he said with a grin before the embers attracted his attention again, it was truly mesmerizing the way they flickered and spun about in the air.

Anya steered Bai gently, continuing the dance, the embers floating closer and closer. Every once in a while, the will-o-whisps floated past Bai and gently flowed over his skin. They were not hot to the touch, but had a wamish cooling effect that made even Anya's head dizzy if she played with them too much. She leaned in even closer and whispered, "Beautiful aren't they... such a soft touch... quite like mine..." Out of no where, the great rock that Anya had been laying on appeared behind Bai. Even Anya had lost track of where they were... but this was perfect. She steered him towards the rock and pressed Bai up against it. Anya's voice melted out of her mouth again as she replied, "They do... whatever I am in the mood for..."

Bai sighed watching the embers, he shivered when they ran over his flesh, it was a rather eerie effect they had. He nodded hearing her words again, "quite beautiful..." his eyes followed the dancing embers, unaware of his surroundings. He blinked as he felt the solid form of the boulder beneath his back, "ah? And what might that be?" he narrowed his eyes slightly, this must have been what she meant by helping her to get people do what she wanted, he glanced at her. "Well your power does seem quite fun... this is quite the interesting demonstration," he said suddenly feeling like he should be on the defensive, though he found it rather difficult to get in the mood for it being on guard.

Anya smiled gently and ran a finger down Bai's chest, "Oh come now... don't get defensive now... I can feel your muscles tense... just relax...." She let her will-o-whips gather closer, feeling her mind grow fuzzy as well from their effect. She leaned into Bai, so closely that her lips almost touched his, but she paused. After a moments hesitation, where the heat that built up inside her body almost drove her insane, Anya whispered again, "I'm glad you enjoyed the show..." And with that, Anya snapped her fingers which seemed to make a very loud snapping sound, like the sound of a whip. Almost immediately, the effects of the will-o-whips's was gone, as were they. She skipped away from Bai and did a couple of pirouettes before taking a bow. Anya smirked at Bai and quirked an eyebrow, "Do you really think I use my powers that way?" She shook her head and smiled sadly, "I usually use them for healing... but they can be used for other things as well.... as you have seen..."

Bai looked at her a mix between intrigue and panic fighting to take over his face, he grinned, "ah defensive? Well shouldn't one always be on the defensive? You never know who is going to turn around and stab you in the back," he looked at her rather gloomily before his eyes widened and he blinked rather surprised. "Ah well I suppose I am quite fortunate... to have ... gotten to see it" he said fumbling for his words. He gazed at his fingers which were fidgeting with the wires on his forearm before he glanced up at her, "no of course not, it's just... I wasn't all too sure what you were going to do..." he tilted his head feeling rather foolish for the way he reacted, "healing?" he smiled "how exactly do use heal might I ask? ... Those embers... I can't picture fire being used as a healing tool exactly."

Anya held up her index finger and immediately, a small blaze began to burn on the tip, she held out her other hand and beckoned to Bai, "Here... give me your hand, the healing process is difficult to explain, so I will just demonstrate. It won't hurt at all... trust me..." Anya held Bai's gaze steadily, she wanted to prove to this male that she didn't use her powers to influence others... often... As the word often rang through her head, Anya smirked mentally, but kept her face pleasantly placid.

Bai watched her and nodded, holding out his left hand as he looked at the flame rather curiously. He was rather intrigued as to how exactly she could heal someone using fire, fire typically burned and destroyed things, though it did create new life, but not repair things. "I trust you," he said with a chuckle, 'as much as one can,' he took a deep breath and closed his eyes turning his head up to the sky before exhaling and opening his eyes, "I trust you..."

Anya smiled and took Bai's hand in her, and moved the fiery finger on her other closer to his, "I'm glad you trust me... It means a lot..." She gently stroked her flaming finger down the length of his hand and strait down his middle finger. The embers had a numbing factor, when they touched some one some where the place touched would loose its feeling for a little while. She then closed her eyes and put he consciousness into the flame on her finger as it seeped through Bai's hand. If it had been broken or bruised, Anya would have used the fire to shift the bones and clean the blood away, but instead, she just let the fire seep through the muscles in his hands and expanded them so that his muscles would relax almost entirely. Anya pulled herself out of the trance and looked up at Bai, "I can manipulate these small embers in any way that I wish... they are special, and not meant to hurt."

Bai watched calmly as she held his hand in hers and ran the flickering flame along it, "I'm that I'm able to please you..." he blinked slowly watching her actions intently as he slowly lost all sensation in his hand, it was a rather curious situation, he had never thought that flames could do something like this. "I should study more on the healing properties of flames," he said fascinated. He sighed and nodded, the fire actually felt quite nice, "uh huh... thats pretty nifty..." He shifted his weight to his left leg, "how did you discover your power?" he raised an eyebrow and looked at her eyes, as if they held the answer to his question.

Anya rolled her eyes and giggled, "This isn't just any 'ole fire silly! You wont be able to make a bonfire and just stick your hand in it and get the same effect... So no studying and experimenting with fire for you!" She put her hand over his and it heat up slightly as she recalled the fire she had left within his muscles back into her body. When she was done, his hand should feel completely relaxed, as well as the other parts of his body that were connected to certain points in his hand through acupressure points.

When Bai asked her how she came upon her powers, Anya dropped his hand and stepped backward hurriedly. A strange cold fiery look entered her eyes for just a moment until she regained composure. She looked away in the mean time and replied, "Just like any other elder... I was curious about what I could do... I always knew I was part of the fire domain, I just had to figure out what part of it I could control... its not hard..." Anya clenched her jaw slightly before relaxing completely. She wasn't LYING... she just wasn't telling the whole truth....

Bai chuckled and nodded, "obviously, but still it would be interesting to find out what else one can do with fire. I would have to be an idiot to stick my hand in a normal flame, I know well what that would do to my hand," he laughed and watched her hand, he sighed feeling less tense then usual, a rather strange feeling for someone who tried to stay as wary as possible. "That was nice..." he murmured.

The elder glanced up surprised by her sudden retreat, her reaction puzzled him. Did he say something wrong? He didn't think asking her how she discovered her powers would provoke such a reaction but... perhaps he was being too prying, especially since they had just met after all. He furrowed his eyebrows looking rather puzzled as he gazed upon her, "ah I suppose that makes sense..." he shifted uncomfortably and attempted to figure out a way to change the subject from something so awkward, "were your parents fire domain as well?" He sighed inwardly, not able to think of a better thing to say, though he was curious as to what it was that prompted such a dark response.

Anya took a very subtle deep breath to calm her madly pounding vengeful heart and thought to herself, There is no need to be mad at the man. He meant nothing by it... he didn't DO anything to you... he was just asking... but anyways... too many questions... I wish he'd put his lips to a better use than just flapping 'em away like he does... She looked back at Bai when she felt her gaze would not be as fiery and angry as it had been and replied, "My mother was of the fire domain... my father was earth... but... they aren't important... they are meaningless at this point, so I'd rather not talk about them, thank you..." Anya then looked away and sighed, she was being ridiculous. With a shrug she continued, "Since we are on the topic... what about you? Are you not interested in all in what you can do with your domain...?"
