Drinky McIrish Mr Jawes Drinky McIrish HistoryWak Drinky McIrish Yich dude... What in the world did Lennon see in her? *shrugs* Beats me. xD Seriously dude, that was worse for me than Journey, Rush and Nirvana combined... Drinky, we are seriously going to fight soon... Dude, you'd hate Rush too if you heard the cover band at my schools graduation party... Well not so much heard, but saw... The lead singer was not only hairy, overweight, and sweating like a mofo, but he wore a suit that was more or less Borat's swimsuit... Seriously, sights like that can ruin your ear for the music... Not to mention Rush was never that great... I mean, Tom Sawyer? I can make better music farting into a toilet. Basing your opinions of a real band over a cover band is bad practice. Good luck finding anyone who can copy the original legend. Secondly, Tom Sawyer is amazing on several different levels, and as a drummer, I will defend that song. It has one of the greatest drum fills/solos OF ALL TIME.

No Drinky.
Swing is reserved for dancing and clarinet ******** Clarinets. ******** all their s**t with a rusty chainsaw.
And a hammer.
And some nails.
BTW, "Closer" is something I'm not proud I enjoy for the most obvious reasons...
Also, to add to my hate, throw in some rusty hacksaws in there too, for effect.

Drinky McIrish Why are so many people ashamed of listening to Michael Jackson? It's not like he's a bad artist... The dude is the King of Pop for ******** sake. Now, listening to Yoko Ono, or The Macharana (sp?), that's something to be ashamed of... But Jackson? His stuff from childhood to the mid 90's was excellent... Like I said. He doesn't really have a place here to me because I'm not ashamed to admit it. Quite the opposite, in fact. By the way, "What you do to me" is, in fact, not a Micheal Jackson song. i was actually thinking of "The Way you make me Feel", y'all. (even if I can't tolerate the imagery in the video) Oh, and let's not forget "Don't Stop 'Till You Get Enough". Now, click here.

I took part in a Jazz band for a few years in early high school, our drummer subscribed to the "less is more" train of thought and was able to do some ******** excellent things with two toms, a snare, bass drum, high-hat and two symbols... I never understood why drummers use some of the sets that they do, I know a kid that had a 17-piece setup thinking he was some hot s**t. My former bandmate beat out that other kid in a drumming competition a few years back.

Well that's a bit biased...you might think that they are low on talent, but a lot of people would disagree with you. Also, complex music doesn't WORK if you don't have the talent to use it, and quite frankly, Rush music DOES work.
