((2 days.))

Cross caught Travis and slammed him down hard on the outside with the sit-out powerbomb. He immediately attempted to get his opponent back in the ring and hit him with Genesis while he was still down. If he connected he would go to hook Travis' leg and attempt the pin

((Genesis is a rope-climb corkscrew senton. Think whisper in the wind on an opponent who's laying down.))

(( Sorry bout the inactivity. Haha, your finisher is almost the same as mine. ))

Travis wasn't able to get out of the way to avoid the attack. He was, however, able to get himself to lift his knees.

((It's cool. Just glad you made it before five days. This is one of my finishers. It's pretty much a whisper in the wind, only the opponent is on the mat instead of standing.))

Cross was caught by the knees to his back. He immediately clutched his back and began writhing in pain, smearing his face paint on the mat.

(( Yeah, The Travesty is the same, pretty much. Only it's done jumping forward rather than backwards. ))

Travis had a couple moments to capitalize, but was in no shape to do so. The slam outside the ring had taken a harsh toll on his body. He struggled to get ahold of the ropes and begin to bring himself to his feet.

((I see I just need to picture that in my head for when the time comes. Looks like this match is back to square one.))

Cross slowly tried to get to his feet. Though he didn't need the ropes, those knees took alot out of him and he had to take his time. He got up, facing away from Travis, still clutching his back.

(( Well here it is. Just picture this, but off the top rope. And probably not as many spins, that's from off of a ladder. ))

Travis got up and turned to see Cross facing the other direction. He ran up behind the man and attempted to his his own variation of Carlito's Backstabber.

Cross was hit with the knees to the back and fell to ground. Would it be enough to put the young superstar away?

((But you could do it off a ladder, if the situation called for it.))

(( Why, good sir. I already did in the 5 Seconds of Hell match with Nuke Fusion. surprised ))

Travis certainly didn't think so, that's why he didn't attempt a pin. Instead he rolled over and got to his feet quickly. He now attempted a standing moonsault onto Cross. If successful, then he would go for the pin.

((Oh snaps.))

Cross was hit with the standing moonsault, knocking the wind out of him. What followed was perhaps the closest two-count in history, as Cross just got his shoulders up before the three, saved by a millisecond.

Travis stood up once again. Without any warning, he ran and springboarded off of the middle rope and attempted to hit a lionsault.

Cross used a quick burst of adrenaline to pop up and attempt to catch Travis as he was hitting the ropes, going for a hard german suplex while his opponent was on the second rope. If successful, Chris would fall right back to the ground, having used up so much energy.

The german connects, and after laying on the ground for a good while, Cross finally got for his feet, immediately going, once again, for the turnbuckle climb into a rebounded corkscrew senton he called Genesis. He would then go for the pin hooking one of Travis' legs with either arm.

((Really hope you post.))

(( Ah, crap man. I'm really sorry for all my inactivity. Been kinda busy in the last couple weeks. ))

Travis was layed out with the suplex. He couldn't do much as he watched Cross scale the turnbuckle and come flying back down at him. His only option was to try and get out of the way, but he didn't have the energy. He managed to roll onto his back, but still got hit with a good portion of Genesis. The arena was going crazy, loving this match from the start to this potential finish. The ref dropped down and began his count.

1...

2......

Time seemed to slow down as the refs hand was coming down for the three. At nearly the exact same moment it did, Travis' shoulder barely popped up. The ref, confused, surveys the replay on the screen several times before deciding that Travis had barely, just barely, managed to kick out. The fans were on their feet, waiting for this match to continue.

((Its cool man. I'm not mad, I'm just glad you got back before any kind of auto-win.))

Cross couldn't believe that Travis had gotten his shoulder up, as he got to his own feet. He walked to the turnbuckle and rested against it for a moment, before pushing away and beginning to clap, slowly building up the crowds excitement even further as they began to clap with him. Before the match, they were split about him, his actions had started to sway them, and he wouldn't do anything to stop that. He knew some would see his next action as ignorant, but he still was allowing his opponent to get his feet, while he built up the crowd. He was just happy that all the fans, whether Travis' or his own, were into this great match.

As soon as Travis got to his feet, Cross would run in for an attempted Three Amigos.

Travis was lifted into the air and slammed hard for amigo numero uno. And even more so for numero dos. However, as Cross had Travis lifted for numero tres, the crafty Chicago native attempted to wrap his arm around Cross' neck and roll backwards for a roll-up pin attempt.
