No double trouble? sad

huh?
Deangelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart

lol, is that a joke? Why would there be a rookie like Jonathan Stewart on a poll with the best runningbacks ever?
Because he's a badass

You can't be serious. A pretty good rookie season, as the #2 RB, with mostly goal-line carries, and you're calling him a badass, let along comparing him to the all time greats?

Yes, because he is an utter badass. I never said he was better than all of those other people, but he doesn't suck like the Detroit RB's. Lol Detroit.

...Um, I wouldn't take Detroit's Kevin Smith over DeAngello Williams, but I'd take him over Jonathan Stewart. Smith is a very good RB... sweatdrop

That still doesn't make Jonathan Stewart better than Kevin Smith. Also, Smith has done more, with a worse offensive line.

Don't care. The only stat that matters is the W and the L.

Yes, that stat only matters for a team. Wins and losses are achieved in a group effort. But that doesn't determine how good a player is. Even though the Panthers are better than the Lions, Kevin Smith is better than Jonathan Stewart.

But not better than Deangelo, who I'm arguing for.

No...you were arguing for Jonathan Stewart. Anyways, the Panthers' success this regular season wasn't solely on the performance by DeAngello Williams. Delhomme and Steve Smith did well, along with their offensive line and defense.

First, don't tell me who I'm pushing for. I'm me, so I think I'd know. Second, yes, they all did well, personally. I think this is their best season in the team's short history. People seem to forget that the Cats are an extremely young team.

lol, funny arguing, i think jonathan stewart is better than kevin smith but, kevin has better numbers cause he is the main guy in detroit. i dont think you can really say stewart and williams share the load. stewart just goes in at goal-line and when williams is tired or when the game is already won. if stewart was in smiths situation 1,200 yards this year EASY

Umm...no.

Jonathan Stewart gets the easy work, so he looks better. Stewart has a better offensive line. He gets goal-line carries. DeAngello Williams wears down the defense, so a fresh Stewart looks like he does more than he really is. The Panthers also have a good passing game, so defenses are kept honest, reducing blitzes, and Stewart gets good space.

Kevin Smith has a bad offensive line. He is the main guy, and takes a banging. There is no passing attack for the Lions, so defenses can blitz and stop Smith more easily. Their offense isn't even on the field much, so less time of possession.
