Blie sniffed the air again. "No I don't smell a thing..." He thought for a moment. "Oh, maybe it is me. I have had people say that I smell good enough to eat." He laughed. Many dragonflies he had come across had said that he smelt like something they wanted to eat. Not many of them tried to eat him but he is always a little careful.

Kurumiril was startled with the statement. His startled face turned into an embarassed grin. "You're the one that smells so nice? I smelt you from a far earlier. If you did not smell so I would have probably continued running..." He thought of this then fixed his statement, "Wait, no nevermind, I stopped because I didn't want to trip over a pup. That would not have been good now would it?"

"Yes tripping over a pup or something might have made this perfect day a bad one. And bad days always try to bring other days down with them until everyday follows. That is why we have to make sure each day is a good day." Blie smiled again at that thought.

Kuru smiled, curious with Blie. "And how have you come to these conclusions?" Kurumiril agreed with them 100% and he wondered why he had never thought of them before. He lived his life trying to make others days perfect, in turn making his perfect but not even realizing that he only needed himself to be happy, and that this happiness would make others happy also.

"Well that is how I have always looked at life. If something is not good, make it good. If your day is going down hill, turn around and go back up." Blie really spent to much time on his own and let his mind wander to much. But he always thought up nice things.

"These are ways in which you are smarter than I..." Kurumiril didn't want to admit it, he did enjoy enlightening others, but Blie brought such humility to Kuru. He continued enjoying the smell which sometimes disapeared into banality, but he tried hiding it. He did not know what Blie felt about his own smell. A question came up in Kuru's mind, he felt like a teen asking an adult questions, "Blie, if you had lost in time all of your friends and family, would you feel aching and somber?"

Blie let a frown come across his face in thought. "I'm not sure how I would feel. I love my friends and family with all of my heart and if I lost them... I would be sad, sad enough that I don't think a perfect day would be prefect at all. I would find a way to see them again, and maybe make new friends if I lost my old ones."

That was precisely how Kuru was feeling at that moment. "I've been trying to get my old friends for a while now... but I guess making new friends does shift you day around." He grinned and then lay down on the ground to look at the clouds. Kuru was relaxed and wondered perhaps Blie knew some of the pups he had taken car eof once, "Would you perhaps know of a dragonfly named Baruda? Or oh a female named Jazumin? She had dark brown fur?"

Blie thought for a while and shook his head. "I have met many dragonflies, half of there names they never told me and the other half I have forgetten there names... So if I did meet your friends then I might not remember them. I'm sorry..."

Kurumiril had forseen the outcome but he had tried anyways. He did not feel depressed though, he was happy the day had turned around. "You know, when I had arrived in Di'jai I was extremely happy, I thought everything would be as I had left it. I thought my friends would be raging to greet me again. I thought I would rememeber my way around... it seemed though that I had forgotten my instinct in the human world..."

"Well that can't be helped. One day you walk through the forest, and the next day you come back the way you came and it has changed. Nothing will ever be the same from one day to another. But that doesn't mean that we can't follow in it's step. If we grow a little each day, then we are keeping up."

Kurumiril realized he had himself been keeping up in his own way. Although things weren't the same anymore he knew they would become easy for him again. Not that life was easy for him, but not so demotivating. "I find motivation in what you say. I thought a while back I had started to reeducate myself to the way of the forest but I realize I had done it wrong... It's now that I reeducate." He looked at Blie and grinned.

"It is not often that and elder finds something useful in the words of an adult." Blie wagged his tail at that thought. "Each have there own way of growing. Some forget how to do it for a while, but it always comes back at some time."

Kuru was sure glad of the unexpected enlightenment of the day. "We do grow every day... It's beautiful." He imagined the big beady eyes of a dragonfly pup, "Have you ever rose puppies? They are the ones who grow the fastest, and you never know what they will come up with." Kuru felt like himself again. A caring, light hearted elder.

"I did once... But that was a while ago. They do grow fast and then you have to say goodbye to them because they want to be on there own." Blie frowned for a moment before it was replaced with a grin. "But they were and started families so it is alright." He had not thought about that for a while.
