...a m é l i e . .m a r i n. . c h e v a l i e r ...
“You are beautiful, but you are empty,”... comment allez-vous aujourd'hui?shocked , thank you. Amélie was completely taken aback by the abusive tone of the two young people in her proximity. Did they not notice that she'd only just arrived? And had she really been moving so fast as to get there before a car? She was trying to move at a decent pace. Maybe he had taken his time getting ready. And then suddenly after being sworn at for something she had been absent for and accused of some form of abuse to this girl by the little cake boy, the girl was gone.
"You were offended before when I asked if your friend was always so odd. I heard it in your voice. I will tell you now that you are both very strange. I am sorry that your friend is upset. I will see what I can do to make it up to her. But I expect that you will not speak to me, though I have not done anything. You are ready not to like people, I think." As Amélie spoke she could hear her native accent beginning to prevail. It was a tell that she was upset and it irritated her intensely. On the other hand, it was much more poignant to sound offended in french. She breathed deeply, almost predatorially. His scent was prominent in the air. He did not smell especially appetizing right now, though she might have enjoyed killing him.
Amélie was furious now. She turned on her heel and walked away much more slowly than she would have liked, wishing that she had taken her car instead. At least then she could have sped away quickly. Amélie took conscious, even strides towards her door, her desire to hunt overwhelming her. The boy, Zachary, had honestly believed that she had caused harm to this girl, just because she was standing nearby while she was upset. Is he in love with her? Clearly it is not reciprocated if he is, but how interesting they are.
As her thoughts simmered, they turned her her brother, and her brother and then she turned to a boil. How could he be so stupid, so thoughtless, careless with this secret? After they had just moved into this neighborhood? After changing places every 10 years if they were lucky, and every five when they weren't? Would he really have set the bar so low on their time here that they would have spent less than a week in one place? It was infuriating. She didn't notice that her pace had now turned from a walk to an inhuman run. Amélie reached the door and shook it at it's hinges with a slam. Her brother was home, she could smell him.
In perfect french, with a yell that might've been loud for a human, Amélie said, Jonathan Reynolds Chevalier, what the hell is the matter with you? Have you gone completely brain dead at last?" “One could not die for you."

:: Zachary Gerald Turner :: -the worst thing you could do your enemies is to forgive them- Zachary jumped a mile when he heard Lucy flared up. "You're damn right that ******** brother of yours did this! He did all of this! "You, and your psychotic, french speaking, anger management needing brother stay the f**k away from me! Especially if your twin is going to snap like that! He's crazy! He crushed my camera into pieces with his bare hand! HAND!" It was all said in a voice that almost deafened his ears. He had a random thought, The male twin is strong. And then Lucy turned to him. "I'm sorry for making you come out here. But I just can't be here anymore," Without even waiting for his reply, she left. Shaking his head slightly, he watched Lucy as she made her way to her car. He heard another voice. "You were offended before when I asked if your friend was always so odd. I heard it in your voice. I will tell you now that you are both very strange. I am sorry that your friend is upset. I will see what I can do to make it up to her. But I expect that you will not speak to me, though I have not done anything. You are ready not to like people, I think." You're damn right I'm not. He thought as he turned to face the female twin. "Loo--" He was about to say when she saw that she had already walked away. What the hell. Lucy ask me here and then she abandon me? Then this twin also walk away without even listening to my explanation? Damn. Zachary's cellphone buzzed. Slipping it out from his pocket, he opened up the message that Lucy texted him.
I'm going home. Call or text anytime. Sorry again. And, um, can you tell the sister I said I'm sorry for reacting the way I did? I didn't mean to take it out on her. ~Luce He shook his head and quickly texted his reply back. Apology not accepted. You're going to have to treat me before I can accept your apology. (: As for the female twin, you'll just have to do it yourself. I have a feeling that she's angry at me. Oh and, there's this new sushi place at the mall. Wanna try it out? And a 'no' is not accepted as an answer. -Zack You're really insensitive. First, her favorite camera gets crushed by some guy and then you ask her to eat? Zachary told himself. He flip open his phone. But you can think better with a full stomach. At most I'll buy her another camera. Or maybe a fedora. Or both. With that, he flip his phone close and made his way to his car. He leaped into his car, without opening the door. Hah, a convertible do makes you look better. He thought as he started up his car and drove out of the carpark. He checked his wallet for some money. Money makes the world go round. He thought happily when he saw that he got about a thousand dollars in cash. It's a good thing that Chevaliers are here. Dad gets paid more money, I get more allowance. The thousand dollars is actually his monthly allowance, but seeing that it could cheer Lucy up, he don't mind spending it.
Zachary made his way to the mall. His thoughts was really random and rather errant. That girl-- she's really... pretty. No, not that, but beautiful. She's special. Not like the other girls... She's... He ran out of adjective to describe the female twin. It's surprising how a girl could make Zachary so tongue-tied. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, he made a right turn and arrived at the downtown mall. He took his phone out of his pocket and waited for Lucy's reply. In the meantime, he booted up his VAIO and opened a Mozilla Firefox window and started surfing the web. The connection wasn't that good and the speed was slow. He closed the top of his convertible and switched on his car's stereo. Plain White Ts - Hey There Delilah was what blasted through the speakers. when someone strikes you on your left cheek, offer them your right one.

❝ l u c y { danielle } s u l l i v a n ❞ღ little miss wallflower ღ ;; but me ƒ я ι є η ∂ s call me l u c e Clouds. They had a way of changing your emotions as quickly as changing clothes. One moment, little Lucy felt at bliss just looking up at the gray and white clouds. And a few minutes ago, she suddenly felt a little depressed. Or maybe, her depression came when she realized that below in the lawn next to her house, was the guy she had been thinking about for the past fifteen or so minutes. She had taken one look at him, and her mixed feelings had come back. But then she noticed something about him. His skin glowed different under the sunlight. It was a thin minor little glow, but it made him so much more beautiful than when he was out of the sun. Lucy just had to get a picture of this. But she feared that maybe he would hear her camera go off and break another one of her life pieces in front of her. This brought a painful pressure on her chest. Lucy stepped away from the window, tossing her pillow onto her bed and then heading to her closet. She stared at her fedoras for a minute, wondering what she was going to do. Closing her eyes, she let her mind take control of her body so that she would remember. When she took hold of what she wanted to get, Lucy opened her eyes. It was another one of her slim digital cameras. This one was black. Letting out a sigh, Lucy went over to the window and looked down into her neighbor's lawn. He was still there, still in the position he had been when she had left for that brief minute. Turning on her camera, Lucy brought it to eye level and then pressed the button on top. The picture on the small screen showed exactly what she wanted it to show. Her emotions looking at it. She saw anger, happiness, and confusion. Witn another sigh, Lucy turned off her camera and placed it on her desk next to her Macbook. She would upload it later. Maybe give him a developed copy as a sort of apology. But then again, he might be furious that I took a photo of him. Oh well, he already broke one of my cameras. And I did tell them that I didn't want them to be near me ever again. She was starting to regret the words she had told the sister.
Now sitting at her desk, one foot under her bottom while the other shook a little, Lucy's eyes moved from left to right as she read an email from the university in Spain that she had planned on attending this coming school year. The email stated that if she wanted to apply again she would need to redo her portfolio all over again and also to make sure to get the recommendations from her high school. Everything was so stressful for her now. Running a hand through her hair, Lucy made memo notes onto her computer and then shut off the Internet. She leaned back on her chair, rubbing her tired eyes. Her life had gone fine before her parents came back into her life. Speaking of her parents, Lucy turned her head towards the door and wondered if they had left already. She hadn't heard any sounds indicating that they were there for a few minutes. But Joseph would have told her if they had left already. Maybe she gave off a piss off kind of vibe that he didn't dare try to speak to her. This was the main reason why Lucy hated being mad. Turning to look back at her laptop, Lucy opened the Internet window again as well as sign onto her Instant Message programs. A few of her friends were online, one of them being Zack, but she didn't feel like speaking to anyone through keyboard at the moment. So she put that she was busy and then went back to look at her Internet. The first place she went to was youtube. Nothing from her subscriptions. So she looked at music videos for a bit.
She was in the middle of watching a new Demi Lovato music video when her phone started buzzing. Lucy picked it up without her eyes leaving the computer screen and then opened the new text. It was from Zack. Pausing the music video, Lucy read the long text message. It made her smile and laugh. He must be on crack to think that I would treat him! He does, after all, have more cash on him than I could ever get! Shaking her head, Lucy hit the Reply and wrote her response.
Treat you?! Are you on something, like crack?! But, if it means that you'll forgiving me, then I guess I'll accept your offer. Sushi sounds wonderful. As long as we don't some of that disgusting meat. I hate being a vegetarian. >.< ~Luce
Once the message was sent, Lucy got up from her chair and headed to her closet. She suddenly had the feeling to change into something more her and more cheerful, not that pink and lime green did the trick, but she had just witnessed her camera get destroyed in those colors. So, looking through her overfilled closet, Lucy thought about what to change into. Two minutes later, she had pulled out a yellow and white horizontal striped tube top, a yellow half jacket, and yellow super skinny jeans. She was in those brightly colored clothes in less than a minute. Once she slipped on her yellow Chuck Taylors and her yellow and white striped fedora, as well as her ten yellow bangles and her yellow beaded necklace, Lucy went back to her desk and turned off her laptop. She then slipped it into her black Jansport backpack and shouldered the bag over her right shoulder. Then, she went back over to her desk and grabbed her Blackberry and her iPod, slipping them into her front pockets. She then went back to her closet and grabbed her silver slim and sleek digital camera that she received as a graduation present from her aunt and uncle and slipped that into her back right pocket. After one look at her outfit in the mirror, Lucy gave a nod of approval and walked towards the door, her car keys jinlging in her hand.
Downstairs, Joseph and his friends were playing video games in the living room. From the sounds of it, it sounded like they were playing Rock Band. Lucy winced when her cousin attempted to do a high note. He should stick to sports. she thought with a smirk as she walked into the living room. The boys didn't even turn to look at her. So she waited. Once the song was finally done, Lucy threw a nearby pillow at her cousin to grab his attention. When Joseph turned, Lucy said, "I'm heading out to see Zack. Call or text anytime kay?" Joseph gave a quick nod then turned back to the game. She noticed that he was wearing a Polo shirt and some faded blue jeans. A girl is coming over. she thought, turning to look at the boys around him who were dressed slightly different than earlier. It was the art of a suburbian neighborhood. Everyone lived so close together that you could grab clothes from your house in two minutes and come back in one if you ran. "Bye boys. Joseph, tell Auntie and Uncle that you're going to have girls over okay?" she added then turned to leave. There were a few groans. And one of the boys asked her cousin how she had known. This made Lucy smile and shake her head. He's my baby cousin. I'm suppose to know this stuff. she thought then headed out the front door. "Lock the door, Joseph!" she called out then closed the front door shut.
Walking to her car, Lucy avoided looking at her neighbor's house. She was fighting a difficult fight. As she opened the gate and turned to her car, Lucy gave one look to the house and her eyes remained there. The curtains were pulled to block any sight of what was going on in the living room. But Lucy could hear a few things. She could hear the muffles of a TV, and then she heard a voice speak with a little anger. It must have been the twin sister speaking to the twin brother. But she could not hear what they were saying. So, considering this none of her business, Lucy got into her car and put her backpack on the passenger seat. Before she put the kays in, the girl checked for the most important thing ever. That she had her wallet with her. Once, when she had first gotten her license, Lucy had forgotten her wallet at the house. On the way to her job, she had been pulled over by the police for speeding. Let's just say that she had been grounded for a week or so because of that. Opening her backpack, Lucy checked through her things to make sure that she had her wallet. And once she found it she had taken it out and checked if she had money. It wasn't much, just about a hundred and fifty bucks, but it was enough to treat Zack to breakfast.
Now she was ready to head off. Putting her car on drive, Lucy put the top down and drove off out of her neighborhood and into the highway that would lead her to the mall. She had no idea if he was there already, but then again, she really could care less. It was only seven thirty-five in the morning and she had all day to hang out with her best friend without any worries. Like always. While waiting at the stop light, Lucy plugged her iPod into her car stereo and played La La Land by Demi Lovato. Her head started to bang automatically. Once the light turned green, Lucy turned out to the exit and then into the downtown mall. She took a parking spot close to the entrance, thanking the guy that backed out of the spot. Getting out of the car, she took off her fedora and flipped her side bangs out of her face before putting the fedora back on. Afterwards, she shouldered her backpack and then alarmed her car. Now, it was time she went into the mall. Just in case Zack wasn't around yet, Lucy decided to text him.
Zacky-boo, I'm at the sushi restaurante. Are you here? Or should I get us a table? ~Luce
Lucy then put her phone back into her pocket, taking out her iPod and scrolling down to another song. She pressed shuffle and stowed it back into her front right pocket. An old piano composition that her friend created played. Lucy smiled, pushing the entrance door open. Because it was so early in the morning, not that many people were in the mall. And only a few stores were open. She hoped that the restaurant was open at this time. To her luck, it was. But instead of going inside, Lucy sat on the bench in front restaurant and waited for Zack to respond back to her text. While she waited, she took out her camera and browsed through the photos she took. With this camera, it was mostly pictures of her loved ones. Some of her aunt, some of her uncle, some of her cousin, and some of her friends from school and her classes. But most of the pictures, were of her and Zack. Showed how much of a best friend he was to her. And also, it was because he was her model. She smiled at the one she took at their high school graduation dinner at a buffet with his parents and her aunt, uncle, and cousin. They were in the booth, his arm around her shoulders. He had this cocky pout on his face while she had stuck out her tongue and made her eyes look crossed eyed. Lucy almost cracked up at their silliness. capture that perfect м σ м є и т.

. : J o n a t h a n . R e y n o l d s . C h e v a l i e r : . We don't love to be loved; we love to love. Jona relaxed on the sofa, well not really it didn’t matter where he was or what he was doing he never really got fatigued. He flipped through a few channels not really finding anything that kept his interest. Jona began to fade into some nonsensical TV show when he herd the front door slam and he could swear he almost herd a small growl. He rotated on the couch to face his sister, a small smirk on his face. “Jonathan Reynolds Chevalier, what the hell is the matter with you? Have you gone completely brain dead at last?" she yelled. Jona sat there and tried to think of a response but decided to go with an apology rather than a witty response. ”I am sorry, dear sister, I let my anger get the best of me. But I do not believe she suspects anything or we would already have the Volturi kicking down our door. Besides you know that I have a temper, and that little girl really knows how to push my buttons.” Jona responded in French, he kept his voice even and apologetic. This was different than most occasions he actually meant what he was saying. ”Anyway I plan on replacing her camera, so she will let the whole encounter pass.” He finished as he rose from the sofa. He was able to peer through a small crack in the window curtain and see Lucy walking to her car. My, that girl is a ghastly dresser. he thought as he walked pasted his sister and set one of his hands on her shoulder. ”Everything will be fine.” He said letting the smile on his face grow wider as he ascended the stairs to his room. He flipped on his computer and began to shop for cameras. Not a whole lot of them jumping out at him, a few popular models and some finer pocket ones, but nothing amazing. Then he found it the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III 21.1 Megapixel digital slr. The camera was $6,000 but what better to replace the one he broke than the top of the line camera. He did a search for stores that would have sold it and one came up. It was a small camera shop on the outskirt of town, so he typed the number into his cell phone and hit send.
A man with a somewhat raspy voice answered ”Hello, my name is Jonathan Chevalier, and I am interested in purchasing the Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III 21.1 Megapixel you have for sale. I will be paying cash and I would like it if you held the camera for me, I will be there at closing.” The man was speechless, his only response was yes. ”Also I would like a few of your finest lenses please, I will be paying cash for those as well.” Jonas voice almost sounded smug. Then man simply said yes again and Jona hung up. He slipped his cellphone back into his pocket and moved to his bed, sliding his keyboard out and playing a new tune that had just appeared in his head. He played it out all the notes piecing together seamlessly, every note having a purpose. As he played images flashed in his head, Lucy was in every one of them. He tried to shy away from them but she was the driving force behind the song. When the song finally came to it’s end he slid the keyboard back under his bed and exited his room. He walked back downstairs to find his sister. ”Lee do you want to go hunting tonight?” he asked and waited quietly for a response.

“You are beautiful, but you are empty,”... comment allez-vous aujourd'hui?Irritable , thank you. The seemingly endless mood shifts of all of these people were making Amélie's head throb. Inconsistency was certainly consistent, but even her brother had now become one of the incessant pod people who's moods were no longer predictable. He hadn't sincerely apologized to her in five years, but there it was. He was apologizing, but he also attempted to justify his behavior while doing so.
”I am sorry, dear sister, I let my anger get the best of me. But I do not believe she suspects anything or we would already have the Volturi kicking down our door. Besides you know that I have a temper, and that little girl really knows how to push my buttons. Anyway I plan on replacing her camera, so she will let the whole encounter pass. Everything will be fine.” As he said this he could see her brother's eyes steering toward the window. Lee allowed herself a glance through the curtains.
Must she dress so garishly? Amélie was not a typically catty person. It was not a part of her nature to look critically at others, and she was not at all interested in making people feel badly. She was pleased to be the more charismatic of the twins, charming and lovable, but something about her introduction to this society was causing her a great deal of anxiety and very few pleasant thoughts.
She could hear her brother ordering an extravagant new camera for the child next door to make up for his hideous behavior. It was hardly a surprise. He loved to overwhelm, to show off. Once he had a reason to impress, he went to great lengths. Now, Amélie had no idea why he'd want to impress this girl, but she hoped it was simply to make amends with her. She glared down at a copy of Vogue she had picked up from a shop nearby. It was idle and brainless, and she was delighted to have such a distraction from her present reality.
When at last her brother had finished his outward display of monetary bravado, Jona said, "Lee do you want to go hunting tonight?"
The word 'hunting' made her throat burn. She wondered what kind of hunting he was planning for. Silently she nodded, and then cleared her throat, a nervous habit more than a necessity.
"Yes, we should go hunting. After you've finished your shopping this evening. But I've got to ask, with so apparent a disadvantage, don't you feel that the excessive amount of money you spent on this complete stranger could have been better spent on a gift card to Harrod's?" “One could not die for you."

. : J o n a t h a n . R e y n o l d s . C h e v a l i e r : . We don't love to be loved; we love to love. After Jona’s sister decided they would go hunting tonight he walked to the back of the house and ran, at human pace, to a nearby forest. He walked past the threshold of the trees and broke into an all out run. A smile crept across his face as he pushed his body to its maximum potential, watching trees dart past him. Tho he was moving incredibly fast nothing was blurred or distorted. Every single leaf he passed was clear as day. He made his way to a clearing that had some fallen trees in it, and it was here he decided he would experiment with his power. He stretched his arms a bit, out of habit, and held his palm towards the closest tree. The air in front of him rippled as an enormous shock wave fired from his hand sending the fallen tree rocketing into the woods. Jona laughed a bit to himself and aimed at another tree. And with another sonic boom a fellow fallen tree took off, taking down a few rooted trees on its way. Just as Joan focused on another tree there was a laugh behind him. Jona spun to face the noise, poised and ready to pounce. He locked eyes with a tall vampire with long black hair, and deep red eyes. ”Well, it looks like you are having some fun.” the man said with a smirk on his face.
”Who the hell are you?” Jona growled at him.
”Calm down dear boy, my name is Mathias, and I mean you no harm.” he said raising his hands in a submissive manor.
Jona relaxed a bit but not completely ”My name is Jonathan, why are you here?” Jona said trying to keep his voice even. He watched the new vampire move and watched for any sign of aggression.
”I am just passing through, on my way to Ireland. Where are you headed?” Mathias asked.
Jona thought quickly and decided he wouldn’t tell this new man where he lived ”I am on my way to France and stopped here for a bite. These are my hunting grounds, I would suggest you move along.” He kept his voice even but spoke sternly.
Mathias cocked his head to the side and looked somewhat confused but nodded. ”I will do no hunting in this area. It was nice to make your acquaintance, Jonathan.” He said. Jona just nodded as he watched him run off into the trees.
Jona stood there for a moment a little bit uneasy, but decided he was over reacting and pushed it out of his mind. He turned and walked back into the tree cover taking in a deep breath. This turned out to be a mistake, and he got a nose full of the most delicious scent he had come across in over a hundred years. At that moment his instincts kicked in and he ran off following the scent. The forest broke away in front of him and he found two small girls playing by a stream. Jona took another breath in as he watched the girls every movment. His eyes locked onto the small child who smelled so delectable. She was no older than six, with beautiful long blond hair and brilliant blue eyes. Jona mouth filled with venom as he watched, his throat bursting into flames with each breath. He was only jostled out of his trance by the scream of the other little girl as she looked at him, horror spread across her face. Jona’s eyes darted to her and back to the other girl. He smiled and stepped back into the forest keeping his eyes locked on the blond girl. When he was sure he was out of sight he ran, as fast as his body would let him, back to that small clearing. He shook the thoughts of killing that small girl from his head and decided the safest place for him to be was back home. He nearly flew through the forest he was running so quickly. He entered the house and with out saying a word to his sister he ascended the stairs and went strait to his room. He quickly turned on his stereo system and the first song that came booming from the speakers was "Still Alive" by Lisa Miskovsky.

:: Zachary Gerald Turner :: -the worst thing you could do your enemies is to forgive them- Zachary smiled as he saw Lucy's reply. So sushi it was. He opened up the packet of chips he had bought with him to the park. Digging his hand into the packet, it came back up with a fistful of chips, which he put inside his mouth one by one. Luce wouldn't be so fast... He thought as the song playing on his stereo changed. Lovebug by Jonas Brothers was what blasted out from the speakers. Singing along, he logged into myspace and checked out his friends' blogs. Blog-hopping is one of the things he liked to do to make the time pass.
"I can't get you out of my mind/ I think about your eyes all the time/ You're beautiful but you don't even try/ You don't even, don't even try/ Modesty is just so hard to find..." He sang in tune to the song. He got bored by myspace and was about to log in to his friendster account when his cellphone buzzed. Zacky-boo, I'm at the sushi restaurant. Are you here? Or should I get us a table? ~Luce He glanced at his watch. 7:35 am. I really wish she'd stop calling me that. Shaking his head, he switched off his laptop and slipped it into his sling bag. Crumpling the empty bag of chips into a ball, he killed the engine and opened up his door. He slung his bag across his chest.
Slipping out from his car, Zachary slammed the door shut and walked towards the Mall's entrance. He threw his trash into the trashbin and continued to walk until he saw Lucy, sitting on the bench in front of the restaurant. Giving her a wave, he shouted, "Lucy-wucy!" He stucked his tongue out at her. "You're yellow!" He walked towards the bench. "Say, should we go inside the restaurant?" He grabbed Lucy's fedora and pulled it off her head. He crammed it on top of his head and ran ahead into the restaurant, turning back to give her a quick grin. "A seat for two, please." He said to the waitress, giving her a big smile.when someone strikes you on your left cheek, offer them your right one.

❝ l u c y { danielle } s u l l i v a n ❞ღ little miss wallflower ღ ;; but me ƒ я ι є η ∂ s call me l u c e Lucy had no idea how long, or how short, she sat at the bench. But as soon as she heard that horrible nickname, Lucy winced and looked up to see her best friend coming towards her. She took this opportunity to take another photo of him. After all, he was her model. As he walked towards her, his hair bouncing the way it always did when he walked, Lucy brought up her camera and snapped a picture of him. And just in time to catch him sticking his tongue out. Her eyes widened with happiness. "Holy creep! The very few times I get to snap a picture of Zacky-boo sticking his tongue out! Score!" she cried out, busting a little victory dance that made many passersby stare at her with amusement. Lucy giggled then turned to look back at her best friend at his yellow comment. "Yes! I'm yellow!" she responded, raising her fist into the air. She laughed a little bit, collecting her things and stuffing her camera into her back pocket.
She was about to tell him that they should go into the restaurant when he had said himself that they should go in. Lucy smiled and shook her head, standing up and straightening her jeans out. So far she had counted fifteen people looking at her because of her decision of clothing. Sure she was a shy girl, but she loved to dress in a way that would get her noticed. Just then, as she counted people sixteen and seventeen, Zack had slipped her fedora off her head and ran off. "Oh my god! Gimme back my hat! Jerk!" she called out, running after him as he went inside the restaurant. Because it was still early in the morning, there were not that many customers. Lucy stood beside her best friend, watching him smile at the Chinese receptionist lady as she looked behind her to check if there were any tables ready. Of course there was, but Lucy was sure that this girl was trying to find a place for only the two of them. This thought made Lucy wince. She hated it when some people assumed that they were a couple. Getting her fedora back and sticking a tongue out at Zack, Lucy put the hat back on and then followed the girl to their table.
The restaurant didn't have windows, like all other restaurants located inside the mall. But it wasn't exactly like the food court either. It was slightly in the middle. Hers and Zack's table was located a little way away from the window facing the other shops. By now there were more people walking about. Most of them were teens happy that summer vacation had finally come around. Once they were seated at their table, an asian man with his hair greased back, had walked up to them with two menus and laid it in front of them. Lucy thanked the man then looked down at the menu. Of course most of the food would be sushi, but Lucy was hoping that there would be something that she would like to eat that didn't make her feel uncomfortable. After all, any meat was still meat, no matter how raw it still was. She had decided to order their vegetable soup as well as their vegetable California rolls. 'We're totally getting wasabi if we order these sushi rolls. You're taking all the ones with the meats, as always," she said, looking over her menu towards her best friend.
It had been so long since it was only her and Zack hanging out. Usually, they would have Joseph tagging along with them, or they just couldn't hang out at all because of his mom. She still had no idea what was wrong with her. But there were times, like when she was walking home, she had heard slurred screaming coming from Zack's house. And it got her wondering if maybe Misses Turner had some alcohol problem. Lucy had hoped not, she really did. Zack was already dealing with his own life to deal with his mother's as well. They had sat quietly for a while now, so Lucy decided that maybe they should talk about something. Taking out her camera, Lucy turned it on and previewed the photos she took. There weren't that many since she hardly used this camera except for some important stills. "Hey, Zack? When was the last time you modeled for me? Wasn't it like right after graduation?" she asked, looking down at the picture from after-grad dinner. She just couldn't believe how carefree he looked in this picture. "Can I ask you something, my sweet, dear, beloved friend?" she asked, giggling at her complimenting. After the waitor came back with two glasses of water, and then left, Lucy leaned forward and whispered, "What do you think of the new neighbors?" capture that perfect м σ м є и т.

“You are beautiful, but you are empty,”... comment allez-vous aujourd'hui?anxious , thank you. So many vampires were solitary creatures. Amélie, on the other hand, hated solitude. She assumed that it was because she had never spent any waking time alone for the majority of her life. Jonathan was very protective of her which allowed her the additional leeway to remain more naive than she ought to have been. She knew that Jona loved time on his own, which actually made her feel a bit sad. Whenever she was alone, her music got louder. She let the bass fill her entire body with it's pleasant vibrations, as the lyrics stung her. The dark circles under her eyes stood out against her pale skin. Amélie was beautiful, but as charismatic as she was, something about her made her difficult to approach. She theorized that it was the 6'1" stone wall that stood between her and the rest of the world. Her brother was her best friend, her whole world, and he was just so angry, so volatile. As the beat went on she allowed herself to move with it, rocking her hips back and forth.
She couldn't take the darkness in the living room. She opened the curtains and allowed the light to flow into the room. The sky was gray and cloudy, but the sky was light enough that her skin brightened, making her look radiant. She stretched out in the light, allowing her fingertips to graze the brass curtain rod, and then with a heavy sigh, she shut the curtains quickly.
He'd kill me if he saw those curtains open.
Amélie was feeling moody now. She was angry with her brother, with this running, with the Volturi for using them as a lab rats. She grabbed her car keys, locked the door behind her, and drove as fast as she could. Amélie wasn't sure where she was going, or what she would do when she got there. All she knew was that today she was going to learn how to cope with being lonely. It was starting to feel like her destiny. “One could not die for you."

. : J o n a t h a n . R e y n o l d s . C h e v a l i e r : . We don't love to be loved; we love to love. Jona sat in his room trying not to think about his neighbor. He was unsuccessful and he started to wonder what she may have been doing. As he sat in his room the house somewhat silent he herd his sister leave, closing the door a bit harder then necessary. He looked out the window as she sped away and scoffed a bit. Always so predictable. he thought to himself as he chuckled. He returned to his bed and flopped back. His bed was amazingly comfortable and no one would even sleep in it, what a pity. Next to his stereo and his piano his bed was one of the most expensive things in his room. Funny how he would spend so much money on something that would never be used for it’s intended purpose. He started to look at his ceiling and examine all the little details in it. He could trace out a rabbit, a car, even a group of children playing with a dog. He turned away from the ceiling upon seeing that. He could feel the slight burn in his throat remembering the small girl that he might have killed earlier today. He tried to think about something else but him mind focused on how sweet she smelled. He quickly rose from his bed and walked downstairs to his book shelves.
The first book he grabbed was his favorite. But this time he read ‘Le perroquet’. This story was a bit longer than the others but he still knew it by heart. As he slowly read the book he could hear his mother’s voice melodically reading to him. Jonas heart nearly burst when he remembered his mother’s voice. He continued to read with every word her voice grew louder and louder till Jona closed his eyes and he let his mother finish reading him the story. He could hear the subtle changes in her voice as she would act out some of the characters. He was blissful and more then content when a slight racket next door pulled him from his daydream. He could hear a few people next door arguing about Lucy. About where she was, why she hadn’t called and why they weren’t telling then anything. Jona found himself listening very intently trying to find out subtle little nuances, or maybe find out where Lucy actually was. As he listened closer he could hear everyone’s heart race increase as someone mentioned the mall. But they quickly disregarded it and returned to their heated discussion. Jona went back to reading his book trying to block out his neighbors voices.

:: Zachary Gerald Turner :: -the worst thing you could do your enemies is to forgive them- Zachary stretched his long legs as he sat down at the table the receptionist showed them to. He glanced at the menu. “You can decide.” He said as he pushed the menu away from him. “And you can have the wasabi, it tastes really weird, I tell you. But I’ll take your meat.” He said as he smiled at her from across the table. As both of them fell silent again, Zachary thought, When had we become so awkward around each other? Oh right, about the time when mum decided to take upon herself to start drinking. He rolled his eyes. His cellphone buzzed and he glanced down to see that it was his mum. Speak of the devil. He rejected the call. He suddenly realized that Lucy was speaking to him.
“…the new neighbors?” What new neighbors? He thought confused until he thought of the Chevalier family that just moved in. “You mean the twins? I… the male one seem sort of strong… and the female…” He blushed, something he wasn’t used to. “She is beautiful, isn’t she? I’ve never seen anyone like her… But do you know anything about them? They seem closed up and reserved. I haven’t even got their names…” Zachary replied, shaking his head. You creep, you just want to know the female’s name. “What about you? What do you think about them? I know the male crushed…” Zachary bit his tongue. You are the worst jerk alive… He thought as he glanced at Lucy’s face for any sign of sadness. “Look… Luce, I’m sor--“ But he cut off when his cellphone buzzed again. Annoyed, he glanced down at the vibrating cellphone in his hand. “It’s my mum.” He whispered to Lucy before he received the call.
“Mum?” “This is not your mum, but is this Zachary Turner? Your mother is in the A&E-- she met with an accident.” The person said. Zachary turned visibly paler. “What… what happened?” He stammered. He wanted to know, yet he already knew. “Your mother was drunk.” Those four words, it sounded final, dead. He muttered a thank you to the person on the line and hanged up. His world crashed down around him. Mum, in the hospital? He stood up woodenly. “Luce, I’m sorry, but I have to go, I’ll treat you the next time round. Sorry.” He turned and ran out of the restaurant. And she told me she wouldn’t drink. He thought angrily as he headed for his car. Jumping in, he quickly started up the car and drove as fast as is humanly possible towards the hospital.
Zachary quickly parked his car and strode into the hospital. Inquiring about his mother at the reception, he was directed to one of the many operation theatres located in the hospital. MUM! You told me you wouldn’t drink anymore. He screamed silently as the first of the tears rolled down his cheeks. ooc: I’m sorry for not posting for so long; I’m sorta busy with RL. ):when someone strikes you on your left cheek, offer them your right one.

❝ l u c y { danielle } s u l l i v a n ❞ღ little miss wallflower ღ ;; but me ƒ я ι є η ∂ s call me l u c e There was just no way for Lucy to get a break today. Ever since this morning. First she was woken up super early by her crazy cousin and his crazy friends. Then there was the hassle with her parents and trying to run away from them while she was introducing herself to her new neighbors. Then the incident with Jonathan and the destruction of her camera. And lastly, there was Zack ditching her at the restaurant before they could order. Once Zack had left, Lucy had lost all interest in eating sushi. So once he had left out the door, Lucy had collected her things and walked out, heading the other direction that Zack had headed. For about, four or five hours, Lucy had stayed in the mall. She looked through shops, and occasionally bought a few things. Most of her time was spent at the electronics store that she had grown to get use to in the years of her photography career. She was so use to it, that even the manager knew her personally. So for an hour or so, Lucy spent her time chatting it up with the employee at the counter, occasionally flirting with him when he led her on. She had found out that he was into photography as well and was saving up for a camera. Ironically, it was the camera that she had once owned. The one that was destroyed. So she had winced when she heard the model.
Lucy had stowed her five bags into the backseat of her car. One bag was filled with new shirts that she had found that she just could not live without. Another bag, a more smaller one was filled with beaded dangling necklaces like the one she was wearing right now. Another bag, the biggest out of all of them, had two boxes of new shoes. One pair were polka dotted flats and the other pair was black Chuck Taylors. The fourth bag was a messenger bag that had a photography related design on the front and back. And the last bag carried three pairs of skinny jeans (blue, purple, and teal) and a teal and white plaid fedora that was on sale. If Lucy wanted to be, she could be a shopaholic. It was a good thing she had a job that paid, as well as an aunt and uncle that gave her a forty dollar allowance even now that she was eighteen. Walking around her car to the driver's seat, Lucy got in and locked the doors. She then put her keys in the ignition and turned it, feeling the rumbling vibration of her car turning on. She put her car in reverse, feeling her safe driver side kick in. She hated getting out of the parking lot during its busy afternoons.
For the rest of the day, from about three in the afternoon to now, Lucy spent her time with some of her friends from high school. It was just a few girls. She had called them earlier before she drove out of the mall and asked if they wanted to hang. Maybe have a movie day. They agreed. So her friends, Tracy and Abigail, all met up with Lucy at Tracy's house. Tracy's house because her parents weren't home for the next two weeks. So for the seven hours, they watched nonstop movies. During these seven hours, Lucy had had at least ten text messages and probably five voice mails from Joseph telling her that her parents were looking for her. She knew that he was getting annoyed, but it wasn't Lucy's fault that she didn't want to see her parents. Not now, not ever. Besides that, Lucy had also texted Zack a couple times asking if his mother was all right. She was really worried for her best friend. Ever since his mother had been visiting the hospital more times than before, Zack had become more serious and much more hard to understand. Usually for Lucy, Zack was someone she could read like a book. But ever since the first hospital visit that didn't involve work, he had been more of a hard shell to crack. She felt that he was keeping something from her, and it hurt to think that he was keeping a secret. But it was his life and he could do whatever he wanted.
Now back in her car, Lucy did a quick u-turn and drove back to her house. It was already ten in the evening. It was no wonder Lucy was already tired. So that was why she was more cautious about driving at night. She hates having to drive at night. It was too dangerous for her. It was a good thing that Tracy's house was only a few minutes away from hers. It was the art of living in a suburban area. Because the streets were empty, Lucy returned home in no time at all. Unfortunately, there were people there that were waiting for her. She cursed under her breath, parking in front of her house. Pulling her keys out of the car, Lucy stayed in there for a minute or more. She was mentally getting ready for what would lay ahead. It was during times like these that Lucy had ever felt angry. After taking a few deep breaths, Lucy grabbed her things and walked out of the car, alarming it while at it. When she went inside, a group of people were already crowding her vision. Her parents were asking where she had been and why she hadn't called, her aunt and uncle were chattering about not calling and telling them where she was, and Jospeh was ranting on about how annoyed he was with her right now. She fought the urge to roll her eyes and went up the stairs to her room so that she could leave her things there.
Five minutes later, Lucy walked down the steps in a black tank top, black short shorts, and black low tops. It was during the night time that she dressed in dark colors. Her hair was up in a messy bun, and all of her jewlery was off. Everyone was found back in the living room. All except her cousin who she heard was playing video games in his room. Her mom and aunt were having a heated discussion about her and her dad and uncle were just sitting on the couch quietly. But there was a heavy tension in the room. She could definitely feel it. With as much as she could get, Lucy crept passed the living room in the hope of not being seen. Too bad it didn't work out. Her mother had stopped speaking and turned to look right at Lucy. "Lucy. Sweetheart, come here," the woman had said, walking around the coffee table over towards her. Lucy crept away as best as she could. She could feel her father looking at her with those overprotective looking eyes as he looked at what she was wearing. He had no right to give that kind of look. "Lucy, baby. Where have you been all day? We were going to talk to you about coming home with us to the states. All we'll need to do is--" "Will you shut up, Mom? I don't need to sign s**t and I'm not coming back to the U.S. with you and dad! I never want to go back. I don't want to be a part of your family anymore!" Lucy interrupted, a look of fury in her eyes.
Every week was the same routine. Her parents would come to her house and attempt to get her to come back with them to the states. And everytime that happened, she would say no. After all, she was an adult now. But did that stop her parents? Hell no. Lucy's father stood up, coming over to stand beside his shocked wife. "You do not talk that way to your mother, Lucy," he said in a stern voice. This made Lucy even madder. "What makes you think that I would give you the respect you want me to give? You don't deserve it! I don't want anything to do with you! At all!" Lucy cried out, walking away from them. Her aunt and uncle stood to the side, her aunt with her hand to her heart. However, Lucy didn't care. She just wanted to settle things once and for all. So that was why she continued. "I wish you would understand the whole concept of our relationship! For one thing, we don't have one! I have no trust and respect for you two and I never will! I don't care that you've been in some rehabilitation center for the past eighteen years! I don't want anything to do with you! You almost killed me as an infant because of your vegan beliefs! You two make me sick!" She saw that her father was fuming, his nostrils flaring everytime he let out a breath. Her mother on the other hand had tears in her eyes.
"I will not be spoken to that way, young lady! Apologize to your mother!" her father cried out, stepping closer to Lucy. She stood her ground, looking up at the man that was her father. "You have no choice but to come with us. We're going to take custody of you and you can't do anything about it," he snared. Lucy was outraged. There was only one way she was going to be going with them. And it was if she was younger. Stepping away from him, Lucy crossed her arms over her chest and glared coldly. She saw Joseph in the corner of her eye, looking down at this argument from the stairs. "Do you by any chance know how old I am?" she asked, her voice cold and full of rage. This question had no doubt stumped the man in front of her. He had a look of confusion on his face. Probably wondering why Lucy would ask such a stupid question. It wasn't stupid at all. More like sad. "Seventeen. Now stop trying to change the--" "Topic? We're still on the same topic here, dad! That's exactly my point! You don't even know my real age! How the hell do you think I'll willingly come with you to the states if you don't even know my age? What kind of people do you think I am? I'm a legal adult already for crying out loud! So stop trying to get me back into your lives!" Tears were falling down her cheeks. They were tears of utter rage. Even though she had disliked her parents for years, hearing her father tell her her wrong age still hurt. It was like a dagger to the heart.
No emotion could explain what Lucy saw on her father's face. She could care less about her mother, she was always the weak one of the couple. Everytime she had these arguments, she was still surprised at how much authority his voice held. "For almost eighteen years, I've struggled to get at where I am now so that we could start all over and be the family I had dreamed of. You were all I thought about while I was in that center. I did not just waste those years of my life to get here for nothing," he had said in a harsh whisper. Lucy acted like those words did not affect her. "You should have thought of that before you decided to try and lead me into a vegan life at two months old, while you killed me with your meals! Don't you get it at all? I don't want you in my life! You've had your chance to be my parents! But you've screwed it up from the very beginning! I'm already eighteen! I have no use of being part of your family anymore! You say you want the family you've dreamed about? Well it's too bad, I've already lived eighteen years of a happy life. I'm not going to start over just for you."
And after that statement, Lucy barged out of her house and into the humid night. She had her cellphone in the backpocket of her short shorts, but she had forgotten her iPod and her camera. But the feeling of nakedness was not found inside her. She was just pissed off. Once she walked over the archway of the front of her house, Lucy turned a right and headed down towards the park. It was the same old routine. After the big fight at her house, Lucy would head to the park. It was a surprise no one knew about this. But it was also a blessing. With her hands deep in her front pockets, Lucy kept her eyes in front of her. Plenty of living room lights were on, and some had blasting noises coming out indicating a television on and doing the work of entertaining a happy family. She let out a sigh. If only I had a family like that. she thought, turning a left towards the street the park was located. A feeling of lonliness rolled through her body, making her wish she knew where Zack was at the moment. She really needed her best friend. Or just about anyone that would distract her from the depression she was getting herself into. [ooc]Yes I had fun with this. >.<[/ooc]capture that perfect м σ м є и т.

. : J o n a t h a n . R e y n o l d s . C h e v a l i e r : . We don't love to be loved; we love to love. It had been a long and boring day for Jona. He spent most of it indoors trying to avoid any interaction with the people in his neighborhood. During his exile he read a few new books from his sisters repertoire, some silly teen books he was able to pound out in no time at all. They were brainless books and the only reason his sister was able to keep up with his book score. I should start reading brainless crap like this. Lee would never be able to keep up. he laughed to himself as he read them. He also played as much as he could on his keyboard, and learned a few new tunes. His piano was the best gift he had ever received and his sister knew it. It was probably his more prized possession next to his Charger. The songs Jona decided to learn were not of his usual caliber, mostly Beethoven and Bache pieces. Granted they were beautiful pieces but lacked the depth he craved in the song he liked. After he had burned most of the day away in his room, it now being four in the afternoon, he went to work on his Audi. He only did slight tuning to his car, removing the stock turbo and putting twin racing turbo’s on it. He also installed a ten pound, wet injection nitrous kit in it, to give it a little kick.
While Jona was in his living room he herd his neighbor come home. He could hear her heart rate pick up a bit as she walked up to her house and he knew why. Apparently she didn’t like the people that were there. Jona didn’t know her relation to them but it wasn’t his business. As he sat there he couldn’t help but listen in to the argument. "Will you shut up, Mom? I don't need to sign s**t and I'm not coming back to the U.S. with you and dad! I never want to go back. I don't want to be a part of your family anymore!" he herd Lucy burst at the women. Seems like she has been storing that up for a while. Jona thought as he listened. The fight continued and Jona found out who these people were, they were her parents. And it appeared she harbored a lot of ill will for them which he also found out the reason for. You two make me sick!" she yelled at them. This whole thing was wearing on Jona and he didn’t know why. He just felt as if he needed to do something about it. Jona stood and walked to the window and watched them fight through their window. It was now so obvious that she wasn’t the offspring of his neighbors. If you took all the best parts of her real parents it made Lucy.
As Jona stood there the fight became more and more heated. But nothing compared to the next thing to come out of Lucy’s mouth. I'm not going to start over just for you." she nearly screamed at them. It nearly floored Jona with how much animosity was stored in her tiny frame. Before he took his eyes off her parents she was out the door. Jona saw her walk through the arch and onto the sidewalk. She was moving with much speed and purpose for a human. Jona fought for a moment as to wether or not to go after her, but he decided yes and he knew his sister wouldn’t be happy with that decision. Jona walked out to his car, started it and chased down his new attraction. He caught up with her only a few hundred feet from her house and opened his door. He noticed what she was wear and the ‘man’ in him flared up. She was beyond words but he composed himself and spoke. ”Do you really think you should be running around half naked?" he said to her with a smile on his face.
