do you think we're retarded? the difference is pretty obvious.
Also I know hoobbiest that have "done this for years" and some thing triggers one or a few of the fish and its all over.
Look, we arnt saying OMG your evil, take them apart rite now. All Im saying is it only takes on incident and I dunno, I guess I would wrather be safe than sorry. My imports arn't cheep and wilds are hard to get where I am, so I suppose I value the bettas a bit more...
also, I dont even know why I bothered putting how long I've been in the betta hobby, time doesnt really matter, its how well you soak up the knowlege, and where you get your info and who your mentors are. (mines awesome, she just placed first in a few classes in the IBC show in Jacksonvill ^_^ )
All in all I thnink weve ventured far enough from the OP here..
