Hurricane Eme

Aged Elder

PostPosted: Mon Feb 16, 2009 1:30 pm

Eme was growing more confused by the second. The sting of the air touching the bare nerves, Jes' grip on her face, her blood getting into her eyes, she could feel nothing. She was beginning to feel empty, not too sure on what to do as her brain couldn't process the situation. She could hear the snapping of what seemed to be her fingers, yet her brain refused to process what was happening.

As Jes spoke, her body grew increasingly hotter, making her close her eyes to succumb to it. It was a unique feeling to her, unknown to her until now and she was unable to resist. Her body began to tingle, causing a pleasant sensation to hit her hard. Even what was supposed to be sharp pain within her right hand caused her to feel only more pleasure from it all. She couldn't stop her body from moving on it own, her legs wrapping around Jes' waist. Her breathing quickened as she breathed. The shadows were coming closer to breaking her mind. She bit her lip again to try and keep a hold of herself.

"Aren't you the affectionate one," Jes teased, hitching Eme's leg more securely about her waist. She leaned down, pressing experimentally against the younger girl. "I knew you'd warm to me, Emily,"

Summoned by Jes's shadows, the Court emerged from the dark tunnels that honeycombed the darkly-glowing rock. Each face, both hollow and arrancar alike, bore similar expressions of hunger. The humans of perhaps an hour ago were no where in sight, though one arrancar's neck and pale, bare chest was smeared with half-dried blood.

"You're simply the perfect addition to my Court... They already adore you..." Smiling mockingly, Jes sealed her lips against Eme's a second time, drinking the revulsion the girl felt at her touch. She rubbed against her as the hollow and arrancar converged. "Let's all have a bit of sport, shall we? Let's play, Emily,"

*FADE IN*

Her eyes were peeled wide open, pulling herself towards the throne. Sh couldn't help but shiver through the ordeal, her being a complete mess. She was trying not to cry, it being hard as she was bruised and battered. Her suit was torn and shredded, leaving her almost bare to the now satisfied arrancar. Scratches and cuts laced around her body, not deep enough to cause bleeding but enough to give her pain. She couldn't think, fearing that her experience would replay in her mind. She spat at the ground, a disturbing mix of blood, and another fluid that was unknown to her. Her body ached terribly, it hurting just to move as much as she did. Without the use of her reiatsu due to her restraints, it was impossible for her to reactivate Divina Sangre, her zanpakutou's voice was dead silent.

However, throughout it all, the feeling of lust wouldn't go away. She cursed Jes for it still welling inside of her. She couldn't say much as her throat hurt as well, and was unable to talk for the time being. She glared coldly at jes, trying to suppress the urges she continued to feel.

"Don't be like that, love," Jes crooned, smiling coldly as she straightened her shirt, tugging the cuffs into place with a deft movement. "I think you really started to enjoy yourself near the end..."

Jes rose, clearly not plagued by the same pains as Eme. Watching Eme drag herself across the floor was amusing. This little shinigami girl truthfully was the best toy she'd had in... Well, ever, if Jes was being honest. The thought made her all the more possessive of her new acquisition.

"But really, now, you screamed so nicely," Jes crossed to Eme, kneeling down and catching her mutilated face between her hands. "You've made me ever so curious about your past... And since you belond to me, I should have your mind as well as your body..."

Jes's faithful shadows coalesced ominously. Feeding time clearly wasn't over. "We'll start with your death, shall we? And don't struggle, love, it'll only hurt more,"

The shadows seemed to grow and overtake the cave, muting out the soft blue glow of the light and throwing everything into complete darkness. The shadows reached into Eme's conscious and drew out a scene that quickly materialized around the two of them.

It was still dark, but not the dark of unnatural shadow, merely the absence of the sun. Night. Two women fought furiously in a clearing of the dense forest that now surrounded Jes and Eme.

One woman, clearly a Quincy by her bow, landed an early shot on the other, a shinigami by garb. The shinigami responded with a flurry of deadly strikes, fatally wounding the Quincy.

Jes laughed, quickly putting the pieces together. The two looked too similar to be anything but-- "Sisters... Sisters shouldn't fight," Jes teased, though there was a hard edge to her voice. "She's pretty, just like you, Emily... Only I like you better... You've got a bit of daintiness your sister lacks,"

My sister... I could never come close... She-- Jes forced the Adjuchas' memories down in annoyance. They surfaced at the worst moments.

"Ah," Jes returned her attention to the memory.
The Quincy Eme had dropped to the ground in a widening pool of blood. "Looks like it's curtains for you, Emily... But what's this?"

The Quincy Eme rose like a marionette pulled by invisible strings. She drew an arrow to her bow and cleanly pierced her shinigami sister's heart. Her life was spent, though, and she dropped dead even as her collasped no more than a few meters away.

Then the memory faded, dissipated against the dull shadows. Jes's eyes, which had faded to their normal bloody hue, sparked with a new inky darkness as she consumed the memory.

Rhia had been honing in on what she was certain was Eme's reiatsu signature. It was isolated, which worried her, and it was sparking weakly, as though succumbing to another power. Rhia clenched her jaw grimly and hurtled down another corridor. The walls blurred into a solid run of gray as she darted through the halls, drawing ever closer to her target.

There.

A great stone entrance that looked entirely at odds with the surrounding building gleamed blackly against the white walls. Eme was just beyond the door, reiatsu flickering and guttering. Without bothering to test the door, Rhia massed a blast of reiatsu that shattered the glasslike obsidian in one burst. Razor-sharp shards flew in all directions, but none touched her as she stalked through the rubble.

She didn't need a very sharp nose to pick up the coppery smell of blood in the air. Her eyes focused on a stone dais that sported a roughly-carved throne. At its base was an arrancar whose white hair and pale, pale skin was at strange odds with her dark background. The wierd blue light cast the arrancar's form in sharp relief. Rhia's attention was quickly drawn to another form leaning weakly against one leg of the obsidian chair.

It was Eme, Rhia had no doubt, but her face, clasped between the arrancar's pale hands, was cross-hatched with terrible bloody cuts. Her clothes were in shreds, barely covering her battered body. Rage rose hot and firey in Rhia's chest, her dark brown eyes flashing as she drew her zanpaku-to with in a white-knuckled grip.

"Get. The ********. Away. From her," She advanced through the sharp shards of rock, oblivious to the razor-like edges that didn't seem quite able to cut her feet. Her wings sprouted from her shoulder blades and spread menacingly as her spiritual pressure mounted.

Jes had her back to the door when it exploded inward, showering both her and Eme with jagged shards of rock. The bounced off her hierro-inforced skin, and she shielded Eme from the worst of the blast.

Her ears were ringing sharply from the sudden explosion, but a furious voice cut through the high-pitched chime in her head. So familiar... The voice sounded so very, very...

Jes turned, clutching Eme's head close to her chest. The blood of Eme's cuts stained the front of her shirt. Striding toward them at a quick clip was a short girl with tanned skin, dark brown eyes, and a mane of curly, brown-gold hair. No. "No," Jes said disbelievingly. "Not you... It can't be. You can't be..."

But it had to be her sister. No, the Adjuchas'. Mine. Ours. She's ours. A warm, dull feeling, between nausea and desire rolled through Jes. The shock was still settling in. To come face to face with her. The angel. The one who left us behind. A tangle of emotions tumbled about inside her. She wanted to kill this shining thing. How dare she leave her behind? But she loved her sister. Jes's shadows were turning the love to angry lust, and she wanted to...to...

Jes hugged Eme's limp form tightly, panic sparking in her inky-black eyes. "Keep away from us," She rasped out, pressing against the base of the throne. "Come any nearer and I'll kill her myself,"

It was a bluff. There was no way she'd hurt her Eme, her precious, broken toy.

The arrancar was muttering something disjointedly, a strange look of shock passing over her face. Rhia's face merely hardened in fury, spiritual pressure jumping up several notches as the arrancar finally blurted out a desperate threat.

"Try it," Rhia spat through clenched teeth. She didn't even give the arrancar a chance to move. In a single shunpo, she was at Eme's side, freeing her from the arrancar's grasp with gentle, yet frightening strength. In another instant, she was across the cave, Eme cradled carefully in her arms.

She hadn't tried to engage this arrancar in a fight, though her sense of justice nearly screamed at her to give the woman a taste of her blade. But Eme was in a bad way, and Rhia was worried for the girl's sanity. She'd been trapped alone with this arrancar for who knew how long, clearly had suffered at the woman's hands. Rhia cursed herself for not finding her more quickly, and she tried with little enthusiasm to calm her rage.

Rhia gently shifted Eme onto her back, draping her between her wings. This was a rescue mission first and foremost. Revenge would have to wait. "Don't even think about following," She warned the still-stunned arrancar woman. "Or I swear I'll tear you limb from limb,"

She almost wanted the arrancar to follow. She wanted a reason to slice the damned woman to ribbons. Still, with a last ominous spike in her spiritual pressure, Rhia flexed her wings and took off, augmenting a far-reaching shunpo with a sweep of her wings. She was gone in an instant, Eme along with her.

[um... somewhere in the corridors of Las Noches... Not in the Dark Court]

When she was sure they weren't being pursued, Rhia ground to a halt, kneeling down and despositing her wounded cargo on the ground before her. Quickly wrapping Eme in her captain's jacket, Rhia attended to Eme's physical injuries.

The cuts in her face were probably the worst. It seemed to take ages to coax the torn flesh back together, but finally the deepest cut knit together and smooth, new skin flowed over the sealed wound. Next, Rhia healed Eme's fingers. The digits, bent and twisted out of alignment, crackled back into place as splintered bone reassembled itself. Healing the bruises and cuts to the rest of Eme's body was far easier.

Physically, Rhia concluded, Eme was near perfect health, now. While initially checking her body for injury, Rhia had found signs of more violent trauma, but there was little she could do to fix it other than stem the bleeding.

Eme's mental state was another matter. She hadn't stirred since Rhia had extracted her from the the arrancar's lair. Rhia began to worry that perhaps the girl's mind was splintered or entirely lost.

"Eme," Rhia said softly, stroking the girl's long hair. "Eme, I know you're in there. It's time to wake up, sweetie,"
PostPosted: Mon Feb 23, 2009 5:52 pm

Eme couldn't help but continue to shudder. Her mind was blank except for the mixture of the undying fear and the false lust that continued to stir within her. It wouldn't go away, no matter how she tried to forget. Divina Sangre was trying her best just keep Eme's mind as stable as possible, a clear answer as to why the suit didn't mend itself yet.

Like a light flickering in the dark, Eme slowly began to stabilize, reacting to Rhia's touch. Her breathing was erratic, as if she was being suffocated and was trying to breathe. She was shocked that she was feeling practically no pain, as she inspected her fingers with a quick glance. If it wasn't for Divina Sangre ripped to shreds, and the sharp stinging feeling she had between her legs, she would have figured it was but a very horrible nightmare. But she was safe for the time being, as long as Rhia was around.

She took a deep breath, and pulled herself away from Rhia. She didn't want to think of what happened, and only thought of escape being her first priority. When she stood up, the stinging feeling had intensified, making her buckle against the wall. Though Rhia had stemmed the bleeding, small traces of it were coming down her leg, though she failed to notice.

"I'm sorry, Rhia-taichou. Its going to take me a moment to mend the suit. I'm still in a bit of pain."

Rhia watched as Eme came back to herself slowly. The girl's body was shaking, and her eyes, when they flicked open, had a hunted look. Not for the first time, Rhia wondered what exactly the arrancar had done to Eme. A reaction like this was more a symptom of mental than physical trauma.

Black hatred welled up so quickly Rhia almost choked. She was suddenly aware of how protective she was of Eme, as though she was her sister by blood. If Eme was anything like Feiy, she'd be incredibly powerful, but she'd need to find a way to access the power. As it was, Rhia could teach her, but she felt Eme deserved more than merely a foster sister. She deserved Feiy.

Rhia rocked back on her heels as Eme pulled away and moved to rise. She also noted Eme's apparent weakness as she sagged against the wall. That wouldn't do. And with the arrancar so close, it was a better to keep moving. If that woman got it into her head to follow them... Rhia would give her the what for, but it wasn't a battle she wanted to have with Eme wounded and vulnerable.

"Don't," She sighed and rose, seeing the blood trail down Eme's leg, seeing her weakness, and hating herself for not being faster. "Don't apologize, ok? None of this is your fault,"

Crossing to Eme, she gently scooped the younger girl up into her arms. "We need to keep moving, but you take it slow. I'll protect you," The weight didn't seem to bother her as she moved off down the hall at a fast clip.

She took several deep breaths before trying to stand up straight again, trying her best to endure the pain. She could feel the suit mending itself, slowly patching the cloth back together. Though this transformation itself was always painful in its own right, it felt strangely soothing as it aided her in forgetting about the stinging feeling within.

She was then quickly scooped up by Rhia, being carried down the hall with such speed and grace that shocked her, almost jealous of her technique but she was sure it came with experience.

"Captain, I need to ask this now because I may not get another chance. I don't even know how long I've been here, but all I've heard people mention to me is that I have a sister... even that witch said it. Her name was Feiy... it can't be true can it?"

If Rhia was surprised, she didn't show it beyond a startled blink and a quick glance at Eme. She didn't break stride, though her wings fanned out in agitation, brushing the walls of the narrow corridor.

"... It is," She said after a moment, refocusing on the stretch of hallway before them. There was no point in lying, now. Rhia had had half a mind to tell Eme about Feiy herself, but there never seemed the right moment. It seemed there were other members of Soul Society whose tongues were a bit looser. "You did have-- still have-- a sister named Feiy. She's still alive. Well, not--"

Rhia stopped then, grounding to a halt as she searched for a plausible answer. She was fast, so they now were a fair distance from the arrancar woman's lair, and there were no spiritual pressures nearby. She carefully set Eme down in a convenient alcove, sitting down just outside. Her wings fanned out, blocking the rest of the hall and giving a bit of a sense of security.

"She's part of our world," She tried an answer again. "Yours and mine. Feiy's an extremely powerful vaizard. You have met her before. When you were alive, the two of you..." She stopped again. This was a touchy subject. She asked quietly, guessing the answer. "You don't remember your life at all, do you?"
PostPosted: Tue Feb 24, 2009 8:05 pm

"My mind is blank, I don't remember any of it. I didn't remember much of anything before, but now... I got nothing." She said with a sigh. She remember when she was enlisted into the ranks of shinigami. The governmental figures of Central 46 had told her she wa sa special case and special measures had to be takened because of it. It took her far too long to realize tat they had messed with her. It taking someone else to do it to her again for her to realize it. There had to be a reason as to why.

"This Feiy has to be my best bet in remembering my past life. Its she's my sister and a shinigami or vizord...whatever you said, then she must have been keeping check on me somehow. Where is she? What squad is she in?"

"Vaizard," Rhia corrected automatically. "It means she's found her inner hollow. The transformation of shinigami into vaizard is an illegal practice, she she's been exiled from Soul Society and lives on Earth. It's a stupid rule, really. Most of the vaizards are my friends and strong allies. And Feiy-- she's not a bad person. People are afraid of her power, but she's really gentle and sweet--"

She stopped, realizing how she sounded. Like she was in love. Which, of course, she was, but there was no need for Eme to know just what her relationship with Feiy was. Besides, the general perception was that anyone who called Feiy sweet or gentle ought to have their head examined.

"Anyway," Rhia quickly backtracked. "Just because she can't be in Soul Society doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't meet her. She's actually here in Las Noches, now. We came together... But we might need to give her a bit of space, right now. She's in combat,"

She said the last few sentences without thinking much of it. Even if Feiy was far away, it was easy for Rhia to sense her. It didn't seem odd to her, but then probably no one else was as hyper-aware of Feiy as she.
PostPosted: Tue Feb 24, 2009 8:45 pm

"I see... so she's practically a criminal. Though the way, you make it sound, she was falsely accused even if she did actually do it. I guess she had her reasons." By then, her suit had almost finished repairing itself.

"Though, the fact she found her inner hollow makes me worry. It isn't hereditary, is it? I hope I don't have one inside me..." Her mind briefly replayed her experience with Jes and fraccion.

I really hope thats not how it happens... She shuddered, shaking her head to wipe away the thought.

"...ah, lets just keep going... or rather can we just leave? I'm sure that if she's as strong as you say, she can make it back out alone. I'll just try to make a meeting with her when all this blows over.

Seeing that Eme's suit was nearly mended, Rhia rose, folding her wings and offering a hand down to help the girl up. "Leaving's probably a good idea. We need to get you out of here. Can you manage on your own, or do you need help?"

Feiy could handle herself, and she knew Rhia was going to find her own way out, anyway. The arrancar surely had a gate to Earth which she'd be able to track down without too much difficulty. And Eme really did need to get out of Las Noches. With everything she'd been through Rhia guessed she'd want to be rid of this place, to be able to rest easily.

Still, the idea of leaving without Feiy, and more to the point, leaving when Rhia was sure there was something the matter, twisted uncomfortably in her stomach. She wondered if the worry showed on her face, and she was quick to shift so a curtain of curls obscured her expression.
