"It is nothing master." Kyil replied...though with a smile far too sweetly to be serious. it was almost...humoring really. Still, Kyil's mood remained light and happy. he felt such a sense of ease right now! He could not remember the last time he had been this happy!
"I am pleased that you like my suggestion Mikaril. I hope that I will be able to truely help you in it's pursuit...though...for now.." And here he paused. His pink eyes sweeping over Mikaril's form. "I believe you need more rest master."
As he spoke, Kyil leaned forwards to take the blanket he had laid across Mikaril, and attempted to draw it up and 'tuck him in'. It was quite a mothering gesture really, and Kyil thought nothing of it and how it might seem demeaning.
"We will speak more after you rest master...and thank you. I will try to have more fish ready for you when you waken then. You must eat well and regain your strength so we might continue our training." He reminded his friend as he sat back and beamed. "Good night Master...."

As soon as his eyes shut, he felt his body responding more and more slowly, and felt the welcome tingling sensation of his body preparing itself for sleep. He still had so many things he wanted to plan, so much to go over and discuss, but it seemed as though a small inner voice was gently telling him "later." It wasn't as though the magic shop was going to sprout legs and leave.
He vaguely heard Kyil telling him he needed more rest, and this time he wasn't about to disagree. He knew that when no healing potions were in sight, sleep was the best and most natural healer there was, and he wanted nothing better than to be whole again and able to continue with his profession, hopefully with less foolishness than before.
He vaguely felt Kyil messing around with the blankets covering him; had he opened his eyes and seen what Kyil was doing, he might have said something, but as it was, he was too close to the realm of sleep to care. And besides, whatever it was that he had done did seem to aid in the conservation of the existing warmth.
The last thing he heard was 'Goodnight Master', and he tried to respond in kind, but the instant he opened his mouth, he crossed the line into the realm of sleep, and for the first time that week, despite the flurry of activity inside his head, his dreams were quiet.
