Pepper scurried back a couple steps as she lowered herself into a crouch, his eyes brightened as she agree'd to the wrestling match and she was even going to fight like he did! Or so..he thought that was why she was crouching. Sliding into his own crouch posture, his claws on his hind feet scraped against the tile floor. It was the only indication of him tensing up before he charged forward.
The small form despite unskilled relied mostly on instinct and much like a kitten boldly went all out against his foe. Though he had learned to tuck in his long fingers so that his claws wouldn't hurt people ...as badly anyway he basically rammed himself into the girl.

Pepper was brave but reckless and far too slow to stop Mareike when she was looking for a fight. The Wrath girl crossed her a arms in an x in font of her and braced them for the impact. She had to give pepper points for putting a heck of a lot of force behind his tiny weight. Still she held steady the pushed her arms out to try and toss the boy away. " Not going to win" she taunted him in a slightly singsong voice. maybe if she got him and he'd fight back harder. her morals wouldn't him her hurt him but she could give him a good run for his money if he really gave it his all

There was more scrabbling of claws as he was propelled backwards, but he didn't stop. Catching his balance he managed to stop his speed backwards the poor tile suffering from the claws as he turned back towards the girl.
Boundless energy he rushed straight back at her and like a bull tried to head butt her this time.

Mareike just placed her hands out to stop him this time wincing a little as her wrists smarted at the impact. Grabbing her hair she yanked him to the floor. wincing again as the bones over his shoulders connected first. She really hoped they were fairly indestructible.
Still, the thistle haired girl held him down by the head " Do you give up?"

The boy struggled having his face squished against the tile was uncomfortable. There was more scrabbling of claws as he tried to get up from under her hand but failed. So he lay on the floor a moment breathing heavily as he tried to figure out what to do.
Finally he gave a pathetic mewl of defeat, knowing she was stronger annoyed him. But also thrilled him. It meant he could go full out on her and she wouldn't break like a twig.

Mareike smiled in victory and released the boy as she stood " Nice try but your tactics were pretty simple. How about I come back and teach you sometime" That might be kinda of neat, to teach someone else to fight.

As soon as he was released he moved to sit down and he rubbed his cheek with the back of his hand looking up at her in a sourly manner at having lost. Still there was some admiration in his eyes as he looked her over before finally standing on his two feet.
As if trying to make himself as tall as his little frame could. it was unusual to see him standing up straight it almost looked unnatural. Since he was usually hunched over 90% of the time.
Moving over he took her hand in his and then pointed outside. "Take with?"

Mareike looked at Pepper cautiously for a moment. Taking him would be kidnapping and that was illegal, on the other hand the way the techs treated him had to be criminal. Besides, he seemed interesting enough to have around. At least for now she might as well take him and make sure he was taken care of.
Holding his hand tightly she nodded and began tugging the boy towards the exit " Sure, You can meet my brother and stuff." And she'd half to find him some clothes or at least a sheet or something to wear fairly quickly, if people looked at them weird outside she'd have to carry him.

Pepper's eyes lit up as she agree'd to take him...but then he paused. What about Luthor? ...He couldn't leave Luthor to the evil shadow that plagued him everynight in his dreams. Chewing on his lower lip hard enough to make it bleed he instead tugged her back towards the hall he had come down.
"...maybe later? Can't leave now..." he explained as he didn't want to sound like a coward. Despite wanting to go and learn fighting maybe he could convince her to come teacher her in his room?

Mareike raised an eyebrow clearly the boy couldn't make up his mind, still she wasn't about to force him. Carefully so as not to be nailed by his claws she released he hand tugged hers away. " It's Ok I'll come back sometime and teach you ok? Just be careful while I'm gone" She wondered if the boy could stay out of trouble till she returned and hopefully he wouldn't have been adopted out by then.

He looked her over again before nodding his head and then gave an impish grin. "They too slow to catch me." He replied before turning and barreling down the hallway letting out a semi roar to announce his arrival.
