Her little kitty reached her,and jumped up to her outstretched arm.It rubbed itself affectionately against her face,and she smiled down at it."This is Kami.I'll spare you the trouble of asking me to acquainte you with my cat."She rolled her eyes.

Shiro kept his eyes fixed on the attacker.

-=Neko walked to the clearing, but stayed near the edge, to watch Shiro and Risa. He made no attempt to be stealthy, and waited to be noticed, lightly tapping his foot on the soft ground=-

Shiro perked up at the sound of a foot tapping and immediately swung his free arm around, flipping his fingers downwards and removing three kunai from within his sleeve as he did so, releasing them at Neko, while keeping a tight arm around Risa's neck.

-=Neko reacted instinctively. His left hand shot across, catching the first kunai, and his right hand shot up, catching the second, while the third his his left forearm, flying away with a 'ping' as it hit the steel bracer underneath Neko's sleeve. He seemed to relax again, dropping the kunai, his foot still tapping away=-
I'll take that as a sign I startled you...Are you trying to hide something, or did you just get stupid since we've last met?

Shiro saw who he had attacked and immediately let go of Risa. He bowed deeply and strightened up.
"My apologies, I didn't hear you approach, and a ninja is always on guard. It is instinctive for me to respond the way I did in case of a surprise attack."

Shiro twirled the kunai on one finger before placing it in its holster.
"I had the kunai to this individual's back because I have never seen her before, and she seemed to take too much interest in my Kage Bunshin which seemed to be sleeping. I was simply defending myself against a probable attack. I have never seen this person before, and thus it would be the perfect cover for an assassin who may have followed me here from Storm Country."
Shiro looked around.
"And, pardon me for being rude, but what exactly doyou mean by 'This place'?"

Shiro sighed a bit before walking a bit towards Neko.
"I've been searching the area for signs that someone other than myself may have survived. I figure if they've been walking for a while, then they must be thirsty,and will more than likely stop for a drink here. So I decided to lay a bunshin here while I lay watch."

She blinked,confused,and rubbed at her neck.It was sore from this loser pressing his arm so tightly around it."Uhh..."She turned to look at Shiro.Stupid kid,she thought.Plastering a fake smile on her face,she bowed mockingly to him.
"Thanks oh-so-much fo letting me go!I thought I was going to die!"She snickered,and then nodded back at Neko.He seemed like a nice person,for getting this nuisance off her back.
She watched them with interest,absently petting her cat.
