It better not be Gaunt! scream Uhm... WHY?! gonk So I'm newish to the Black Library, cut me some slack. xd Does anyone know if they ever published the third Guant's Ghosts Omnibus? Modelwise, I've got the Warwalker just about basecoated. I need to do some hard-to-hit detail, then finish putting it together and I'll post an update on that. Also, I'm in the process of painting one of the Lava bases to see how it looks, hopefully will have pics of that soon as well.

As to what army I want the Eldar to officially be, I think I like Altansar.  I'll adapt the paint scheme quite a bit to fit my fire/lava theme, but it's already got similar tones, and their backstory intrigues me.

An update on the cockpit of the Warwalker. It's not done, but you can see the start of the magma-like veins in the hull, and the hot glowing edges.

I'm actually really excited about working on this paint scheme. I'm ending up using bright oranges and yellows, and bright colors have always been an Eldar tradition, but at the same time, I compare the parts I'm working on to the base, and they're amazingly camoflauged in a lava environment.

You've got all of those lava patterned bases for normal infantry, but what're you going to do with the Warwalkers for bases?
