"Whats wrong the fresh air not doing you any good?" She stood up and spun, she began to notice that her bloody lips were healing without the interfeance of her cursed ties. She actually had her lips back and her voice sounded rusty and ill used. She spoke like a four year old. " Well i guess that would be nice but i really think there are things we should get busy with. I had a mission of my own before i was locked in there." She shook her legs and started walking towards the deep woods. "I guess if your helping me i should tell you what that involves. I want your help desprately but im not sure if you will be so willing."

"The park held an answer that, until you came along cost me eternity. The answer to humanity actually." She smiled. "By the way im like as old as all of this, i got here from earth. Orginally i was just a conspiracy trader. Its a useful operation if you want to locate some of the most badass treasure ever. Coming full circle here im now just a Treasure hunter!" She posed for a moment and then laughed. "Before i was trapted i heard of a formula that could if used right eliminate the muted genes in human's. Now why would a treasure hunter such as myself want that?" She sighed and looked alex in the eye. "Nothing, but i heard rumor that an old friend of mine was hunting it down because he had found a buyer; The H.E.C. The head ******** heard about it sometime after i did and wanted his hands all over a cure. It would bring H.E.C into death hold status on the planet. Seeing as i plan on being around or a while, that aint good."

They had walked a good distance. "Now heres the idea." She grabbed a handful of dead roses from the hidden pocket in her jacket. "These petals are alive you will notice, they hold something bery interesting. Cells that not only reject the mutant gene but supress it. Now thats not what we need, this would just kill you or turn you into something worse. Because when the mutant gene is supressed it multiplies to fight back. Crazy s**t some old guy told me about. I need blood from a man who can regenrate cells. See my ability isnt an ability, its a curse; treasure seekers like myself seem to get those. His blood is actually infested with blank mutant genes. The reason he can heal is becaus those blank cells are keeping him alive because thats all they know how to do. If he were to be injected with an ability like oh say Seth's he would become exactly like him only oh say fifty times stronger. But since he is already supressing his own genes again it would kill him. I know this may all be hard to follow by the way." She stopped and sighed.

"If i find him and get some blood and then mix with the flowers.... Ok basically i need that guy alive, this flower, a chemist lab and something i have no idea about. So yeah its crazy..."

"I think I'd of been more surprised had you said you missed them." Cat said honestly. She looked about to see the various items move about the library. "If you didn't hate them so, then I wouldn't of seen the point in you becoming a Nephilim."

Alex moved to follow the girl, simply taking in everything she said,and sorting it out in between pauses. "So you need my help finding a synthetic human?" she asked, summing up at the end what she thought Naomi was saying.

Cat was silent as she read the page over a couple to times. She nodded , remembering the sword he's taken out. "After reading this, I can see why you have such an ego." she said, as if the book explained everything. "It's not without just cause." she finished. She turned to look at him, or rather his back now. "So how is it you plan on getting rid of Nexus?"

Cat's head turned slightly as she heard Caleb's chair clatter to the floor, she caught a glimpse of him coming toward them before she turned back and caught Setsumei stabbing his sword through her middle. Her first reaction was shock at the fact that he did in fact just stab her. Though she was a bit lost if he had or not. Wasn't being stabbed suppose to be a painful? If memory served her correctly it was.

She wanted to look down to make sure she wasn't just seeing illusions or something, except she could seem to remove her eyes from Setsumei at the moment. Oddly enough she didn't care either, it didn't hurt and for whatever reason she found herself able to actually concentrate and focus for the first time in awhile. She waited till he removed the sword before saying anything, though once again found herself without the ability to speak as he pressed his forehead to hers. "I should probably explain all that to Alex next I see her." she managed out quietly.

Caleb had jumped up out of his chair having only caught eh first glimpse of what was going to happen, not wanting to wait to see the rest. He stopped however, noticing that Cat hadn't screamed, bled, or cursed even when she was stabbed. He replayed the scene in his head, watching teh whole thing this time. "...Oh....." He grinned and moved ot pick his chair back up.

Caleb looked up from his book. "No thanks, I'm good." he smiled.

Cat looked back at Caleb. "I don't know whether he doesn't care about whats going on because he knows how it's all going to turn out, or if he just has other things to worry about." Cat said quiet enough so Caleb wouldn't hear her. She turned her attention back to Setsumei, then looked to the sword, she laughed slightly. "You two are the perfect couple."

"Hence the reason I'm still sitting." Cat smiled. "Yes however. I don't think I can remember a time when I was this....well relaxed." she admitted.

Caleb looked up again and smiled. "I've seen pretty far before, it's just kind of weird cause I still haven't been able to play through it all again to make sure I've seen it right. I"ve seen teh ending though, and when it comes, well...Let's just say I can see the future, but I'm not able to change it. There's lots of different outcomes though, and I've seen them all. So far I got two favorites." he smiled.

Caleb smiled. "Actually, free-will exists. I've done this once before, but I really have to focus. If I concentrate of one person, and it has to be one I"ve met before, I can see all teh different choices they'll be given and depending on what they pick I can see what will happen, I can also go back and see what would happen if they made a different choice." He explained. He moved and set teh book he was reading down, then moved to get out of his chair. "The only problem with that trick is that I usually give myself a really bad headache later on, which in turn makes me sick."

Cat blinked and turned to look at Caleb. "Why is it you don't tell me things?" she asked

"You never asked, and even if you did, you're always busy with other things, why would I give you something else to worry about." he asked, smiling innocently.

Cat went to say something to respond, but stopped and simply shook her head. "I swear, you older then you look." she said finally.

"Yeah thats true, though he's still pretty much like any other little brother." Cat said, smirking as she glanced back at Caleb.

"Yeah, I tend to embarrass Cat sometimes. Like the one time I told Micah that she talks in her sleep a lot when she gets home from doing her runs. She said all sorts of stuff."

Cat gave him a flat glare. "Yep, just like any other little brother."

Caleb just grinned, knowing full well what he had said. "And then there was the time she was skating and ran into a dumpster. And there was another time where she got kind of drunk and her and Alex-"

Cat had moved and quickly clapped a hand over Calebs mouth, smiling. "Okay, story times over."

It was easy to tell that Caleb was smiling still, and his small frame shook as he laughed behind Cats hand.
