Haha, my dad messes up the words on PURPOSE just to annoy the hell outa me. >>

In "We Have All Been Blind" -the end part where Erik sings? Where he says "Let my opera begin!"? My dad says it's like Prince of Egypt where Moses says "Let my people go!"

Hmm....kind of....not really, but kind of

(I sat in Box 7. whee Box 5 was empty!)
0_0 That is so overly cool (the box 5 thinger) Who ever thought of actually doing that is a complete genius...a coincidence? I think not! ^_^
Isn't it just? >D I wish I knew who was in charge of the Peace Center (where it was performed). They... own, simply put. <3

Heh... yesterday, this girl wouldn't get out of my way (People who just stand in halls... GAH!!), even after I said "Excuse me, please" at least 3 times. So... I kinda yelled "PUNJAB LASSO!!" The idiot got out of the way, needless to say. >3

My friend and I change the words to "Masquerade" all of the time. xd The best one we've come up with so far is "Masticate! Paper plates on parade! Masticate! Chew your food so the world will never see it!" ^__^ That's the only song we make fun of, though.

My sister and I sing parts all the time (our current favorite is "Notes"), but neither of us are very good singers. My sister can't carry a tune and she has a rather weak voice. My voice is decent at best, but I am an alto, so I can't hit any of the higher or lower notes. My sister makes fun of me for singing along to Carlotta or Christine.

And I know I should stop doodling in my science notebook. A guy named Erik sits behind me, and I would be embarrased if someone thought I liked him because "I heart Erik" is written all over my notes. sweatdrop

Ah, I do stupid Phantom-y things all the time. When I saw Les Mis last month, my friends and I were singing Final Lair during intermission, and got all these weird stares from people. Let's see...I also quote Phantom at inappropriate moments and laugh to myself, because I am huge dork like that. sweatdrop biggrin

Let's see...

Once during a test I started singing Point of No Return, and it wasn't until someone poked me in the side that I realized what I was doing. Apparently I was singing it loud enough to be heard across the classroom as well. Everyone was staring at me with the weirdest looks on their faces.

Otherwise I randomly break into songs from the musical all the time. I sing all the parts in their respective ranges as best I can. I can manage all of the male parts (kind of suprising since I'm an alto), but I never even try to hit those high notes.

Oh, the same for me! I write "I LOVE ERIK!" or "Erik is the secks" all over my notebooks. And I also have a dude named Erik that I know! Though I believe he knows of my Phantom obsession so he doesn't get the wrong impression of me. X)

Once I drew this whole little stick-figure comic of me killing Christine and Raoul and taking Erik for myself and strangling him in a love glomp of death. XD

My friends saw it and looked at me funny. But they like it as well, because they're Erik lovers, too! heart

Just the other day in homeroom, it was dead quiet because everyone was working, and suddenly someone dropped a textbook or something, but it sounded just like wood hitting wood.
So, of course, my brain started going 'Sold! Your numbers, sir? Thank you. Next, lot...' it took me a minute to actually realize that I was repeating this...

Also, not embarassing, but a sign that my brain needs something else to focus on: the other day in Algebra, I headed a piece of paper 'Notes' because the teacher said we were going to take some.
Then my hand, of it's own free will and before I could stop it wrote down 'Dear Andre, what a charming gala. Christine enjoyed a great success. We were hardly bereft when Carlotta left. Otherwise, the chorus was entrancing, but the dancing was a lamentable mess. -O.G.'

Today, I did the 'Notes' thing again, but I wrote Firmin's letter.

Yea... I'm always singing the songs, but I sing everyone's parts... Christine, Erik, Raoul, Firmin, Andre, Meg... list goes on and on. I have a pretty large range so I can do it... Though sometimes I can't go to the lowest notes, and the highest note Christine uses in "The Phantom of the Opera" duet with Erik. (I will remind you, I am a girl, that's why I can sing almost as high as Christine)

Anyway, when I had just learned "Music of the Night" my dad asked me to sing it for him, and after about 15 seconds of singing I blanked on the rest of the lyrics, and I started cracking up.

Once, I went to Centuary 2, this giant place where I live there was this piano there, and I was just walking around. I couldn't see anybody, but.........it was playing. And, it was playing "The Music of the Night". I couldn't help it, I sang along.
The strangest thing, however, was a man's voice started singing along. IN FRENCH.
I, however, was not paying attention to this [at the moment]. When the song stopped, the only thing I could see was darkness...and I felt someone hugging me from behind and saying "Christene, Christene, you have returned!", and then hugging me closer.
I, of course, turned around and said "Erik! Are you real? Is that you?"
And, then, everything turned normal again and I was laying on the floor.

I think the most embarassing Phantom moment I've had is when I was cleaning up around the kitchen (and doing my usual terrible dance moves, heh...), and suddenly, after sliding across the kitchen floor (and nearly falling after misjudging the sock-to-floor friction) broke out into Masquerade. Needless to say I was loud and out of tune terribly, but I was having so much fun I failed to notice that my brother came home and was eyeing me with complete disbelief.

I then later retreated to my room and sung a bit of the Music of the Night as quietly as possible for fear of future embarassment. xd

I think one of my teachers knows too well that i love POTO. Today she asked us what song helps motivate us and I said the POTO overture and she's like "*sigh* Of course..."
