Visiting Kyata and...
It took a while to get Crevan to do anything that he didn't want to do and among those many, many things was going back to the restaurant that they had visited a while back. A lot of time of Roll bouncing up and down on him with huge eyes, and talking about how Epic the place had been and how he wanted to go back and how he wanted to meet up with people there again. The little ferment was... excitable and always there despite his size. He was tiny but he was fast... and good at climbing despite his lack of arms.
Crevan gave a soft sound as he walked down the sidewalk with Ashton in his arms and sitting on his shoulder was Roll who was all but boucning up and down, "Almost there, almost there?" He asked of his brother who he was giving him a smile.
"Almost, I think." Ashton murmured back.
"We will go in, stay for a bit, and then be on our way." Crevan told the two that were chatting away in his ear.
A small visit to the place and then they would head for home and order food from a place that didn't give you a kid along with your meal he thought to himself crossly. He stepped inside the brightly colored place and set Ashton down on his feet and allowed him and Roll to move inside while he wiped his feet clean at the welcome mat just inside the door.
Kyata heard the door open, the day was slow the evening slower,he was almost happy someone had come into the restaurant though his face soured as he spotted the one man he had a run in with before. Though...he guessed that meant that Roll was here too.
"Dining today? Or here to yell at the staff some more?" He asked his tone unfriendly as the previous run in had involved some hot words between them both. His eyes searched for Roll since he was worried the little ferment may of been abandoned but ...then why would this guy come back if he had done that? He gritted his teeth stopping himself from snapping something else at him. Instead he noticed the other small child his eyes roaming for Roll. "Visiting." Crevan said as he glanced over at the guy and gave a motion at Ashton.
The small, brunette mushroom boy looked up at Kyata for a long moment rather shyly before he reached over to pick his little brother up in a hand and held him up, "Came to say hello." He told Kyata.
Roll started to bounce up and down excitedly, "Hello, hello!" He called up to him. It had been a while since he'd been here and getting to see Kyata again was interesting. The man was one of two that he knew who could hold his own against Crevan which made their first meeting and stand off interesting.
Kyata gave Crevan and appraising look before his attention was drawn to Ashton and then Roll.
"Well I can at least bring you to a table so you can sit..." He said grudgingly before he gave a bit of a wave over to a nearby table that was empty.
"Anything to drink?" he asked out of habit as he pulled a chair out for Ashton to sit on. The question was directed to the boys...and not Creven himself. "Its good to see you again Roll..." He started and failed to remember the other child's name. "Both of you." He continued trying to cover up his mess . "He taking good care of you both?" he inquired jerking a thumb in the direction of Crevan. Crevan moved over to sit down in the seat facing the door and watched as Ashton let Roll down onto the table before he crawled up into the seat that Kyata had pulled out for him and sat in it cross legged.
"Drink? Drink... what do you have?" Ashton asked of the tall man.
Roll walked around the table, taking in all of the items on it. Everything seemed a lot different for someone his size compared to others, even simple things like eating utensils.
Both the boys gave a jump of surprise when Crevan turned his full attention on Kyata, giving him a glare, "Whats that supposed to mean?" He snapped.
Kyata ignored Crevan as he then forced a smile for Ashton and Roll. "We have all sorts of good drinks. Want to try bubble tea?" He inquired, "We have strawberry, and chocolate as well as lychee if you are the adventurous sort." he offered with a small chuckle.
His tone was less friendly as it was directed at Crevan; "Well given how you were the last time you were here...I wasn't so sure I would find Roll in a box in front of the store." He snorted as he then pulled a pencil and pad of paper out of his pocket and placed it on the table for the kids to play with.
"here you guys can play with these. Now what do you want to drink? My treat."
Ashton and Roll exchanged a glance and then looked up at him and both chirped out, "Lychee!" They had no idea what it was but if drinking that meant they were 'adventurous' then they were all for trying that flavor out!
Crevan gave a little roll of his eyes as he lounged back in his chair, "I wouldn't abandon them even if they were surprises." He told him.
The boys looked over at their Dad before they turned to look at the pencil and paper they were given seeming to understand his temperament when it came to other people... he wasn't very good with them and seemed to be a more... perky around the two of them. It was to bad only one other person even seen a small amount of the nicer part of him.
Ashton picked up a pencil and started to scribble down a drawing of one of the mushrooms that grew on him.
Roll giggled as he followed the pencil around as his brother drew it. Kyata breathed a sigh through his nose before finally turning to the supposed adult and gave him a disdainful look.
"Well? Did you want something as well? I have regular green tea if you prefer." He offered, he seemed annoyed with himself. He didn't want to be nice, but now realized he had provoked the situation he best TRY and make amends.
"Sure, green tea is fine." Crevan told him. He could only hope that the tea didn't magically turn itself into something before he could drink it... he kept the thought to himself though. Instead he could sat there and allowed for the guy to take their order. He wasn't sure what he thought about this guy being around his kids though, acting as though he would mistreat them or abandon them like they were kittens...
Kyata nodded his head after a bit, before turning to move towards the kitchen to grab the drinks. It only took him a couple of minutes but soon enough he was back with a tray that had a teapot on it for the green tea plus a couple of cups. And in two plastic cups were the kids drinks. The milky white liquid has little tapioca balls in them, the straws abnormally wide to allow the balls to be slurped up. OF course Kyata had taken into consideration Roll's size and had prepared just a doll size cup of the juice part. Unfortunately he couldn't devise of a way to make the balls any smaller.
"here you guys go." He announced as he passed the refreshments around. Unbeknownst to him a small figure was hiding amongst the cups floating along.. Roll bounced forward away from the drawing to look into the small cup and his eyes went huge as he found the interesting looking balls that were floating about in the liquid, "Wicked... Do you see these Ashton?" He said, looking over at his brother before he leaned forward to put his face in the drink and set to slurping it up.
The mushroom boy gave a grin as he looked into the cup to see what his brother was talking about then gave a giggle, "Neat." he murmured, setting to drinking the Lychee drink set in front of him.
"Thank you." Crevan said in a grudging manner, figuring he aught to be nice since the guy was giving them drinks...
For the moment the small, floating creature moved about unseen as it moved around the tea pot so that it watched the small sushi boy with great interest.
Kyata nodded his head only feeling content at the moment. He went to lean his elbows on the table as he watched the kids in a ..awkward manner. He wasn't really that great with people..so it made him slightly happy that he could please the children at least. "Do you guys like it?" he inquired hoping that the sweet taste would suit them. Roll lifted his head up out of the drink, nodding his head in an affirmative manner all while holding on to one of the tapioca balls in his teeth which caused Ashton to giggle around his straw before he to gave a nod. Teh ferment tilted his head back to make it easier to finish off the ball before he gave a laugh, "Its good." Even though they had no idea what a Lychee was they were both enjoying whatever it was. Crevan reached over to get himself one of the cups, setting it in front of himself and then reached over to pick up the pot then froze in place for a moment before he jolted his feet, "Shi... snake." The guy lifted the pot up as though he were ready to flatten the odd, floating creature with it before it went zinging forward away from Crevan and toward the two kids looking for another hiding spot from the one with the pot.
Kyata balked as suddenly Crevan was spitting out something about a snake and then he caught out of the corner of his eyes something flying towards the kids. Out of instinct he moved his arm in front of the creature way like a sudden road block to halt its progression. That thing didn't move like any snake he had seen...
The strange little creature wasn't able to stop itself fast enough and crashed into Kyata's arm before giving a little twitch and collapsed to the table, dazed.
Ashton pushed up on his feet, hands on the table, and leaned forward to see what was going on in front of Kyata's arm... then blinked a couple times seeing the... thing, "Hey... Roll. There is a fluffy snake on the table." He whispered. "Seriously? Where, where?" Roll rushed forward, pushing up on his tip toes to get a peek over the arm that was between him and the fluffy snake.
Kyata held his breath after he felt the small thing crash into his arm. Now he felt bad for it and gently went to remove his arm and then pick the tiny creature up and put it in his hand to examine. The kid was right...it was furry...and it had horns..and scales...well snakes had scales...but...this definitely was not a snake.
"Ohhh..." he breathed out as a connection his his brain. He forgot that the chefs had been messing around in the kitchen.
"I think its a ...dragon of sorts." He announced as he then gently placed it back on the table to recover. "Dragon?" Three voices asked of Kyata and all of them turned to stare at the dragon as it started to slowly recover, shaking the stars from its vision before looking up at Crevan first... then to Kyata... then crept away from then and speedily hid itself behind Roll. Tall people were scary! One tried to crush him with a pot and the other knocked him senseless... he gave a huffing sound before turning his attention to Roll.
Roll turned to look at it for a moment then gave it a smile, "What a wicked cool creature."
Kyata really did feel bad as the thing fled from him and hid behind roll. Maybe he shouldn't of tried to stop it...but hey he thought it could of been something dangerous.
"Yeah...the chefs here try different experiments...there have been other creature...but this is the first time I have seen a dragon type." He explained feeling more relaxed now that he figured what it must of been. "Experimenting...?" Crevan murmured before he took his seat and returned to pouring himself some tea. He felt his heart racing a bit, quite surprised about finding a dragon with his tea... this was the weirdest place he had ever eaten by far he decided as he set the pot down and lifted his cup to his lips.
"Who's dragon is he?" Ashton asked, reaching over to pet on little dragon with his index finger.
Kyata chewed on his lower lip and gave a half shrug. "Well...I guess since he likes Roll so much... he could have him. The...'pals' as they are called usually go to other gogos. " He explained after a moment.
"I am...too busy to look after a pet myself." He explained as he was a gogo as well. "so you may as well take him." He was inwardly pleased to be forcing nowa pet onto Crevan. Crevan nearly chocked on his tea before he looked down at the thing, "Wait... what?"
The boys were already squealing in a delighted manner over creature, petting on them as they look it over the dragon that they were going to get to take home with them! The man wanted nothing more then to tell Kyata off, take the kids, and go home but... if told them that they couldn't have that fluffy snake... he was sure there would be no end to the water works over that. He wondered if that was the pain in the a** waiter was after... making him look like a jerk in front of his kids.
Kyata was smiling pleased that the kids seemed to take a liking so quickly to the dragon thing. "did you guys wants some ice cream? i think we have some matcha flavor in the back. Yourself sir?" he inquired feeling a bit smug at the moment.
Both the boys were nodding instantly about getting some ice cream, "Yes! Yes, please!" Crevan gave Kyata a dark look... a pet and lots of sugar... how he would like to give this guy a piece of his mind but it wouldn't give him the pleasure, "Thank you but no." He muttered.
Kyata turned and headed for the kitchen keeping an eye out for any other strange creatures but found none. He scooped ice cream into bowls even making one for the small dragon as a peace offering before returning and passing out the treats. He...tried not to sigh as he found himself wishing he ..could have kids of his own. Despite him not like people so much...kids at least...were somewhat better.
Both Roll and Ashton were petting on the dragon, everything else forgotten now that they had found a new friend to play with. The dragon seemed to be doing better fine now though still looked a little unsure about people taller then Ashton. When he returned with the treats the boys dug in to the ice cream that was given to them by Kyata who was someone that both the boys were starting to like more and more.
The dragon watched the pair as they dug into the ice cream before he floated over to start to sneak bites from Ashton's bowl since there was more in it.
Kyata tried to not feel like he was spying on them. But he didn't mind too much as long as he could irk the adult here he could care less really.
"Glad you guys like it. You should visit here more often. Its gets lonely." He offered and explained as shifted a bit knowing he needed to probably get back to work...and now clean up the dishes he had provided for the treats.
Roll nodded, "We will try to come more." He said excitedly, the sugar already getting to him. He was going to be bouncing around for hours... Crevan knew it, one could tell by the way they two were looking like they were about ready to go running around the place... or around the table in Roll's case.
"Yeah... we will see about it." Crevan said before he finished his cup of tea. Kyata gave a chuckle looking at the nearly vibrating children full of sugar. "You know there is a small park down the road you guys should go visit it...I am sure you could burn off the energy." He offered the suggestion for despite him wanting them to just stay there he really should be working. "I'm not sure about a park... Roll would get stepped on. We will head home and they can run around there." Less chance the littlest of his sons would get hurt in any manner.
The boys pouted a bit as they were told they would have to run their energy off at home... no fun at all was what their eyes were saying and Crevan gave a bit of a groan, "Look you got ice cream and a fur covered snake, be happy."
The pair seemed to consider it, picked their battle, and turned back to finishing off their ice cream before pushing their empty bowls forward to sit with the empty cups.
He gave another chuckle before he gathered the empty cups and bowls onto a server platter and looking all professional lifted them up with one hand. "Well, I best head back to work. Make sure sure you visit again okay?" He said looking to the kids...completely ignoring Crevan's opinion on the matter.
"I will have coconut ice cream for you next time." He offered as a bribe. Crevan watched the guy as he gathered the dishes and he got to his feet, "Come on." He said, reaching down to pick up Ashton first before he reached down to hold a hand out for Roll and the dragon... this was going to be a joy. Now he had a pet to take care of that was as small as Roll... maybe he would get an aquarium to toss it in so it didn't get lost he thought as he picked the two up and let them crawl from his hand to Ashton's shoulder.
"Have a nice day." Crevan said, as nicely as he could be he turned to head for the door.
While they went Roll and Ashton waved and called out farewells to Kyata.

Goodnight Time
Roll was standing on Ashton's shoulder which was his normal perch and the young mushroom boy was standing up on a footstool starring into the over sized fish tank that their father had gotten at a garage sale to toss Swift into when they were out of the house or in bed. He didn't want the tiny creature to get itself lost or hurt while they weren't their to keep an eye on it Crevan had said so here they were starring at it while it hovered about through the tank among the many toys for rodents that had come along with the tank. They knew he was a smart being so they almost felt bad for him being treated in the same manner one would treat a hamster or a rat... Roll looked over at Ashton, "I want to play with Swift... Can you reach?" He asked, lacking in the needed arms for really reaching for anything...
Ashton lifted a hand up toward the top of the tank before giving a shake of his head. Even with the foot stool he couldn't reach inside the tank, his arms and legs being far to short to break into the thing. The only one that could let Swift out of the covered tank was Crevan but since it was getting close to time for bed...
"Ahh... blast... its not cool at all Swift gettin' banished to the tank all the time." The ferment said in a grumpy voice. He wanted to save him... but couldn't do so on her own... being small really sucked at times... on top of that being without arms even more so. Best he could do was order around Ashton who was a lot bigger to help him out but... even as they were they couldn't do anything to rescue the dragon, "Mmm... this is where he'd figured out an awesome plan and build some sort of contraption to save Swift..." He muttered to himself.
The mushroom boy looked over at his tiny brother before giving a nod of agreement knowing exactly who the 'he' was that Roll was talking about, it was the guy on the television with the knife and super building powers that his brother liked so much, "Mmm... don't have much time to build though." He said, as he gave the clock a glance, about ten minutes until bed time which meant their father showing up to tuck them in and turn off the lights... not that turning off the lights meant a whole lot given the fact that Ashton was like a living night light.
"Mmm... oh! See, that is what we need." He said, pointing over at Ashton's yo-yo.
"We need a... yoyo?" Ashton asked as he hopped off the step stool to walk over to where the brightly colored toy was sitting on his dresser, reaching his mushroom covered hand out to take hold of it, "Alright, what are we doing with it?"
"You can reach the top of the cage, yes? We sleep that in and Swift can climb up the string and find sweet freedom!" Roll said, jumping up and down on his brother's shoulder causing the brunette to give a nod and he walked back over and back up onto his perch on the stool. Ashton did as instructed by his much smaller but far more enthusiastic brother and pushed open the top of the cage and lowered the yo-yo down into it slowly. Once it touched the bottom the dragon floated over it it and then encircled his way around the rope of the toy and onto Ashton's hand.
"Ahh... to be free again..." He sighed, shaking himself off to get the sawdust off. Why the human had thought his cage needed to have sawdust in it... as though he would dig around in it or bed down in it like a common pet! It was smarter then that damn human!
A large, callused, and oil stained had reached down to catch Swift by his fluffy ended tail and he was replaced into the tank and the yo-yo was taken away, "Its time for bed you three." He told them before he picked Ashton up and with him Roll. The cover on the cage was replaced and he walked over to the twin sized bed that Ashton slept on. He set the boy down on the brightly colored blankets before he carefully picked Roll up in one hand, "You can play with your snake tomorrow, after you get a good night sleep."
Swift could be heard grumbling from his cage as he found his freedom taken away again... and both Roll and Ashton found themselves tucked into bed so they couldn't free him again as quickly as any of the trio would like, "We will be going out to Petal Power tomorrow and if you are good I will let Swift come along."
The boy gave happy sound and nodded rapidly. Swift had the same sort of look as Yuki so they really liked the idea of getting to introduce to two of them.
"Good night boys." Crevan said as he gave a smile before he headed out of the room, clicking off the light as he left the room with a smile as he closed the door behind himself. It was nice, he didn't even have to worry about a night light for the boys given how well Ashton lit the place up on his own.

Learning Object: Part One: Arriving at Petal Power
Petal Power was open most days of the week the only ones that it was closed at the moment was Sunday and Monday. Today was a day when it was open so they could head into the store easily though the small family that consisted of Crevan who was carrying Ashton and on the shoulder of the mushroom boy's shoulders were Swift and Roll. It was easy for them to weave through the people who were shopping for flowers and the many displays of plants to the counter.
Behind the counter was Sasarai who gave a bit of a hesitant smile at the appearance of Crevan. Even with a warning that the man was coming he still felt himself cowed by his stare... he was just frightening to the faint hearted brunette, "Ahh... C-Crevan... Yukito went to the greenhouse to get some tulips for a customer." He said, his voice first stuttering before he finished in a rush.
Crevan watched Sasarai for a long moment before giving a shrug and set Ashton down to sit on the counter, "Alright, we are patient and can wait for him to come in." He said with a shrug before he held a hand out to Roll so the little Ferment could hop onto it along with Swift. They were lowered down to be released on the counter next to Ashton, "Behave the lot of your or I will leave you here."
Ashton and Roll gave a happy cheer at the idea of getting to live with Yuki and Sasarai... which got them a glowering from their unamused father and it only got them giggling in a delighted sort of way. The two small boys and Yukito seemed to be the only ones that were able to really deal with him and his temperament so easily. Where as some people like Sasarai were afraid of him and some like Kyata just had a firm dislike of him... one that was mutual most of the time.
"Won't be long... he will be back soon and..." He trailed off when the back door opened up and Yukito came in with a big pot of Tulip and a smile on his face, tail swishing behind him, "Oh, good! Yuki your here!"
The dragon paused a moment as he looked over at the group at the counter before he gave a smile, "Your here earlier then I expected. Give me just a moment to finish up here and then we can talk." He told the group before he hurried over to where a woman was standing. She reached her hands out to take the pot from the albino dragon before she gave a happy sound, "Ahh, thank you so much. These are so perfect." She chirped, lifting it up to gave a deep inhale of their scent before she gave a nod, "Very perfect."
"That's wonderful to hear, come I will ring you up." Yuki said before he led her to counter where everyone was waiting.
The pretty woman smiled up at Crevan before her attention was turned to Ashton, Roll, and Swift, "My, are you an interest group." She said as she set the plant down on the counter with them so that she could get out her wallet.
Ashton leaned over to sniff at the flowers in the same manner that the woman had before giving a smile, "Pretty." He murmured then stroked a finger over one of the pretty colored petals.
She nodded in agreement as she held the money out to Yukito, "They are for my girlfriend." She said in a delighted fashion before she took her change and the plant to head out of the store, off to meet up with a fore mentioned friend.
Ashton and Roll exchanged a glance before both looked up at their father, "How do girls have girlfriends?" Both asked of him.

Learning Object: Part Two: In the Back Yard
"Would have been a nice thing to know that you had people like that in your shop so I could be prepared!" Crevan snapped at Yukito, giving him a rather dark look, "How am I supposed to explain something like that to children?!"
The dragon boy looked up at him for a long while before giving a bit of a shrug and looked over to where the three were playing in the back yard of the shop, "You shouldn't worry so much about such simple things Crevan. They would have learned about it soon enough anyway." His tail was swishing behind him in a lazy manner, "Unless you don't approve of such people? If so I don't think hanging around me is a good idea."
Crevan seemed to almost freeze in place before he turned slowly to look at the pale skinned dragon man before he blinked a couple times, "Wha...?" He sounded a bit confused by what the dragon was saying.
Yukito drew his knees up to his chest and rested his head on them, "Think about it Crevan." He said with a soft laugh.
The man glanced over at him for a long moment, eyes widening slightly. The way Yuki said it... he had laughed but it sounded strained even his eyes looked a bit unsure about it. He didn't want Crevan to think badly of him the man suddenly realized... and he gave a bit of a sigh as he reached a hand out to ruffle his hand, "Look... I wasn't saying I didn't like that sort of person just that I don't know what to do about the boys and their questions is all... I am sure they will have them."
Relief flooded his features and he leaned against the hand, "That's good to hear." He said, "I would be sad if you stopped liking me for such a reason."
"And your an idiot for thinking I'd dislike you so quickly and out of the blue... As often as I tried to chase you off when we first met and you stuck to me like a leech." He said in a grouchy manner.
Yukito gave a soft laugh before he hopped to his feet and turned look at Crevan, "Come on! I have something for the boys that I hope they like." He said, sounding far more cheerful now then he had before.
Crevan pushed up to his feet, "Your going to spoil them... not that I can say I mind, better you do it then me. I can be the bad guy easy enough."
"Bad guy? Hahaha... Crevan you got them a pet, your as far from 'bad guy' as possible." He said teasingly before he started over toward the front of the green house where he had a bag sitting, "Here we go... Ashton, Roll! Come on guys see what I got for you!"
The man gave a roll of his eyes as he watched the way Ashton scooped up his much smaller brother and ran over to where Yukito was standing. The man gave a sigh as he walked over, bending to grab hold of Swift by the tail and picked him up off the ground where they had left him behind.
Yukito reached into the back and got out a large plastic bucket and a matching plastic shovel and held it out to Ashton. He gave a smile as he took it.
"Ohhh... neat." He murmured, looking it over. It was a bright, yellow colored bucket with an equally brightly colored green shovel.
"I would have gotten you one to Roll but... ahh..." He kind of trailed off when he tried to explain why he hadn't gotten him a shovel and bucket. It was because the boy had no arms... and couldn't exactly dig very well. He took out a small bouncy ball that was colored like a soccer ball, "Here you go Roll, this is for you."
Roll's eyes got wide before he gave a giggle of delight, "Really? Wow! Set me down so I can try Ashton!" He said, jumping up and down on his brother's shoulder.
Ashton did as requested, setting him down and Yukito set the ball in front of him letting him kick it around as he was pretty good with his feet since he had to compensate for not having arms. The mushroom boy gave a smile as he watched the way his brother got into his game before he looked his present over. He seemed to be considering it for a long moment before asking, "Can I... plant something in this?"
"Mmm, not sure if that work the best but you could gather some soil from the green house with the shovel and pail and we could find you a pot to put a it and a plant in."
Ashton's eyes got wide at that idea before he went running off to the green house to do as was suggested to him by the dragon man.
Yukito smiled before kneeling down next to Roll keeping an eye on him as Ashton went to fetch the soil.

Learning Object: Part Three: The Flower Pot
The Greenhouse was something spectacular to behold, it was so much bigger inside then it was outside. It were as though the building were enchanted though how such a thing was done was beyond Ashton's young mind. He paused looking inside the door to the greenhouse, his chocolate colored eyes scanning back and forth before he spotted the pile of soil. He moved over toward it, liking the feel the dirt that was below his feet. It felt quite interesting and nice. Different sorts of dirt felt different under his feet, this stuff was best. There were no rocks, no sticks, just thick well taken care of soil that made all the plants inside grow healthy and larger then was normal for them.
The mushroom boy knelt down next to the soil pile and set to digging what he needed from it with the shovel to fill the bucket. When it was full he picked it up by the white handle and started toward the door once more before he found himself momentarily distracted. There were some amazing flowers in here, so big, and of all the colors of the rainbow. Not to mention how nice it smelled in here. Yukito was so lucky getting to work in a place like this he thought to himself as he walked forward, leaning in closer to one of the plants to inhale deeply the scent that was coming from it.
"Wow... that's nice." He murmured, eyes getting wide. It was a nice, sweet scent that he liked very much. He reached his mushroom covered arm to run his fingertips over the blossom, "I wonder what sort of flower you are." As though the plant could answer him... he looked around as though hoping it would be labeled... not that he was exactly the best when it came to reading. He could recognize some small words but that was about it thus far. He was learning though with the help of Roll and Swift as well as Crevan though it was harder with him, the older man always told him to 'sound it out'.
The boy could have spent all day wandering around in the greenhouse, might have even done so had he not suddenly recalled what he was doing when he wandered by a set of shelves that had a collection of clay pots on them. He starred at the pots for a moment before giving a giggle, "Ohhh... haha, oops." He giggled to himself when he realized that he had forgotten what he was doing, had been distracted by all of the pretty flowers. He walked over toward where he'd left his bucket, finding that it seemed rather far away... this place was serious huge inside. He'd have to ask Yukito about the trick when he got back to the dragon tailed man.
He picked the bucket up, looking around the area one last time before he started toward the door letting it close behind him.
*****
Yukito looked up as the door to the greenhouse opened up and a smile spread over his lips as the small boy came out carrying a bucket load of soil. He'd fetch a pot from inside as well as some small seedlings, and a hand full of small rocks for the pair of them to work on planting, "Good job." He complimented the boy when he got close, "You have a good amount of soil so we should have plenty for job."
Ashton smiled at the compliment, his mushrooms almost seeming to sway as well though it might have been a trick of Yuki's eyes. The boy set the bucket of soil next to all the other items that Yukito had gathered before he reached a hand out to pick up some rocks, looking them over, "Rocks?"
"They go at the bottom of the pot to help catch extra water so it doesn't gather and cause the roots of your plant to rot." He explained.
Ashton gave a nod of his head before he replaced the rocks down into the pile.
Yukito reached over to get the pot that he'd picked out, it was a small one so when it was all put together Ashton would still easily be able to carry its weight, "Alright, first off we put in the rocks in the bottom. Just a few though, about an inch worth."
Ashton looked into the pot a moment before he gathered the rocks again, dumping them slowly into the bottom of the pot, "Is that enough?" He asked once he put in a couple of handfuls.
The dragon tailed man nodded his head, "Looks good." He said with a bright smile, "Now for the soil, scoop it in until its a couple inches from the top of the pot." He instructed, only giving directions so that Ashton could prepare the pot himself.
The boy seemed to be rather excited over getting to do the work himself, it made it seem a lot more fun in his mind. He pulled his bucket over and set to scooping the soil from it into the pot with his shovel, filling it up, "Ahhh, there we go." He murmured, setting the shovel aside, "Now?"
"Now you dig a small hole into the center and place your seedling in it."
Ashton gave an affirmative nod of his head before he dug a hole in the soil with his hands, making a place just large enough for the seedling to fit in. He reached over to take up the seedling in a careful manner before putting it in the pot and carefully pushed the soil around the base of it, "All done." He murmured, giving a smile up at Yukito.
The man nodded, "Looks really good Ashton. If you want to get the watering can we can give it just a bit of water and it will be all ready for you to take home." He told him, drawing a ribbon out of his pocket to tie in a bow around the center of the pot.
The young mushroom boy gave a bright, happy smile before he rushed off to get the watering can.
Crevan watched the two of them go about their task before drifting over, looking down at the prepared plant, "So hes taking it home, huh? Geez, one more thing to take care of." He muttered though he wasn't really as upset about it as he made it out to be. It was good to see Ashton take an interest in something instead of just following Roll's lead all the time.

Midnight Surprise?
Night had fallen over the Delano house, everyone was tucked into bed, and poor Swift had been tossed into the large fish tank that he was kept in so as not to get lost. Everything was quiet as the boys finally stopped talking and settled into their beds and Crevan had dozed off on the couch while reading over the news paper to get caught up on the happenings around Gaia. He liked his news to come to him second had then having to be out and about witnessing it himself. People were just not something that he liked all that much. The paper had fallen to the floor and was forgotten for the moment while the large, scarred up man slept deeply dreaming of... who knew what.
Roll was sleeping as well though he was doing so restlessly, tossing and turning on the little bed that belonged to him, muttering in his sleep, and all around just seeming to be having a hard time of it. Even the soft glow that came off of his mushroom brother wasn't helping as it normally did. His eyes opened up and a gasping sound escaped from him and as he shifted the small bed that he was sleeping on suddenly felt far to small... he rolled over in an attempted to get comfortable but just ended up in a heap next to the bed dragging a small groan from his lips, "Ow..." He muttered as he shifted and pushed so that he was sitting up.
It wasn't until he was pushing his hair out of his face, trying to get it to return to its normal way of laying that he seemed to realize something very, very important, "What in the..." He jerked his hands back away from his hair and starred at them as though they were dangerous snakes... he jerked to his feet only to have his head collide with the ceiling of the doll house he slept in as though it were suddenly far to small for him. The GoGo ended up back on his hands and knees and he scrambled forward out of the doll house, taking a flying leap that landed him on Ashton's bed.
"It was... never that easy." He murmured to himself, looking down to find himself looking... far, far different then he normally did... He had arms, legs, a body that was a real body... he was different, so different then when he went to sleep. He felt panic well up in him as he rushed forward and all but tackled his mushroom brother's arm, "Ashton!" He cried, giving him a shake, "Ashton... come on... wake up." Roll knew that this was going to happen one day, Kyata had told him so... he had even looked forward to it because changing, growing, it all meant that he was going to get the arms that he so desired. His arms would make life so much easier! Now that the even had come to pass he was panicking instead of celebrating though. It was so sudden, to go from being one thing to another...
The mushroom boy opened his eyes up slowly, gazing at the small form that was shaking him. It was... new by look but the voice, he knew that voice. Ashton sat up quickly, giving a little gasping sound as he looked down at his brother, "R-Roll?" He whispered, lifting on hand so he could give the GoGo a poke as though he didn't quite believe what he was seeing. It was a shock... his brother was so different!
Roll starred up at him for a moment before wrapping his arms around his brother's arm, clinging to him, "C-Changed... Ashton, I... changed." He whispered, having for the moment lost all of his normal confidence.
Ashton gave a little nod, ruffling his brother's hair gently before lifting him up for a careful hug. His brother seemed much taller now didn't he? Relatively speaking at least, "Its alright, Roll." Ashton murmured, wiggling out of bed and slid down off of it onto his feet. He started for the door of the room quietly. It was time to see out their father, the man would know what to do, what to say, and how to make Roll happy again Ashton though to himself as he made his way down the hallway to the living room where their father had dozed off. The room lit up from the soft glow that Ashton gave off when in the dark. He looked over at his father before moving quickly to his side. The arm that wasn't holding onto Roll reached out to poke at the man, repeatedly until his blue eyes finally opened up.
"Huh...? Ashton? What is it?" He asked, starring at him in a slightly sleep dazed manner.
"Roll... isn't feeling good." He said, carefully holding out the newly changed GoGo to Crevan.
The man starred for a long moment at Roll, seeming to be having a hard time wrapping his mind around what it was that he was seeing. His son was... far different now then he had been when the two of them were put to bed. He had gone from a strange little mutant sushi to a small replica of a human teenager. He blinked a couple of times before shifting to the side, "Here, how about you both lay down here with me."
Ashton nodded, crawling onto the couch and laid down next to his father. Roll looked up at the man before nodding and crawled up onto him, curling up in a ball on the man's chest. The sound of his father's heart beat was a soothing sound to both boys and despite any anxiety the two were soon dozing once again. Crevan gave a soft sound in his throat before he let his eyes close, there was a shock... he supposed this meant they were going to have to figure out new ideas for clothing. Perhaps doll cloths would work? They would need to head to the store to find out... tomorrow though, right now he was to tired.
Moments later everyone in the Delano family was once again sleeping with much to look forward to in the morning.

MIA
Ashton was sitting on the count listening quietly as his tiny brother and his very tall father argued about what was and wasn't fair which ended with Crevan stating that 'Life wasn't fair and Roll had to get over it'. Not exactly the nicest way to look at things but then again his Father was a grouchy person so he might see things as such... he reached forward to pick up his cup, lifting it to his lip and drank deeply of the water that it held. As he drank Roll hopped down off the arm of the couch, stalking over sit down next to him and pointedly ignored Crevan.
Crevan seemed to be quite happy to let him do just that, wanting nothing more then to have a moment to escape his son and his sudden teenage grumpiness. To think not only did he have Roll but Ashton was going to reach that age one day too... he merely hoped they weren't at that age together or else he might be tempted to leave them off a field somewhere to live with wolves or just walk himself into traffic. The man left the living room to head from there to the kitchen instead, taking the time to just sit down to rest. It would give his son time to calm down as well then... well he could attempt another sit down with him and attempt a slightly quieter talk.
Roll gave a huffing sound after he was gone, making a face at his father's back, "I know I'm small but that doesn't mean he should say something like that!" He told his younger but far bigger brother, arms crossing over his chair, "I just want to be able to have some time on my own, that's all. I don't like being carried everywhere... its wicked lame." He hated so much that he was so small... it kept him fro doing anything that could be seen as any fun... more so given the fact that his Father was so bossy.
Ashton looked down at him for a long moment before he reached a hand out carefully pat his smaller brother, "He wants you safe." He said with a smile before taking another sip of his water.
The GoGo boy gave a grumpy sound before he moved to slid off the couch, "I don't want to hear it from you to Ashton, sheesh. Your supposed to be on my side, dude." He said before he wandered off.
The mushroom boy watched his brother as he wandered off, lost from view. The boy gave a soft sound and turned his attention to the cartoons that were on the television in front of him. He wanted to go after Roll, wanted to go after his Father but he knew that they were both so stubborn... so alike. He would leave them alone and watch some television instead and then they would make up and talk again he was sure.
Of course he had no real idea what his older brother might do in an attempt to have some time on his own.
*****
Roll was a small kid but he was still a teenager with all the same desires that a teenager had. He didn't want to sit in all day with his little brother and his father, it was dull! He wanted to get out and about, see his friend, visit cool places, wanted to do fun things! He'd told his father as much and was told in a rather 'final' manner that he would be staying in because he was 'to small to go out on his own' or so said his father.
It seemed to be the biggest problem with teenagers and something that Crevan was really ready for... to tell a teenager NOT to do something it would end up being the first thing that they did. Hence why the man, with the help of his younger son, were searching the house from top to bottom before he came to the realization that his son wasn't there... He'd been able to somehow escape his watchful gaze and not only that escape the house despite his size. If Crevan were so pissed off he might have been impressed...
He wasn't sure exactly how long he was missing was one problem, didn't know where he would head, and on top of that didn't exactly know how far one of his size could get. He did some searching around the garden before he found himself approaching his cell phone as though it were a murderous snake... he lifted it up, looked it over, then reluctantly put in a number. The LAST person he wanted to talk to and by far the last he wanted to tell that Roll was missing. The idiot would think he left him somewhere... he already thought him a bad father who couldn't care for his kids. This would just cement that thought in the pain in the backside's mind...
Kyata was of course working, he was cleaning around the kitchen and getting the restaurant ready to for more customers. It had been busier lately and that made him a bit happy, though he still didn't like talking to people he thought at least answering the phones could help him get over that. The phone was actually ringing when he thought of this...rushing he placed the dishes he was carrying down and nearly tripped over himself to get to the phone.
Don't hang up don't hang up! he chanted in his head as he then finally snatched it off the receiver and answered, "Gogo Sushi how can I help you today?" he responded.
Crevan made a face as he heard the voice, wanting nothing more then to just hang up... he really didn't need his help! But... what if he had helped Roll escape? The guy hated him enough it was possible, "Its Crevan." He said through gritted teeth, doing his best to remain civil.
Kyata was half tempted to hang up himself...but he gritted his teeth...what if Roll wanted to talk to him? "Yes...how can I help you Sir?" He responded at least through gritted teeth.
There was a long, drawn out pause before he gave a sighing sound, "Have you heard from Roll today?" He finally asked, not wanting to ask but he had to. If the guy helped in stealing his kid it was better to know he was safe somewhere then having no clue where he was.
Furrowing his eyebrows he stared ahead obviously a bit thrown off by the question, "What? No... I haven't seen him. Why do you ask?" He started sounding a bit ...like he was dreading the answer.
"We had a disagreement over something and now hes missing." Crevan muttered, not wanting to admit it but figured the guy would ask more questions if he didn't tell him what was going on, "Since hes not with you I guess I am gonna let you go and keep searching. He can't have gotten far hes rather small."
"What is your address?" He asked rather bluntly as he couldn't remember it off the top of his head. " I will talk to my boss I am sure they will let me get off work a bit early to help look." He continued and though he disliked Crevan the very idea of Roll wandering around by himself in this rather large world nearly made him have a panic attack.
Crevan gave a rather surprised sound before he told the guy his address. He wanted to help, huh? That was a surprise. He expected Kyata to tell hi how much of a failure he was as a parent not giving an offer of help. It was a nice change of pace really, "I am going to drop my other son off with a friend and meet you here." He told Kyata before he hung up rushing to get his mushroom covered son ready to go.

Petal Power: Part One
Ashton was sitting on the counter at Petal Power, watching the door after his father left in a rush. He was getting help from Kyata which in and of itself was a bit surprising to the young boy. He had seen those two butting heads before like the sheep on the natures shows. They didn't get a long at all but maybe they were going to work together because both of them liked Ashton? He chewed on his lower lip in a thoughtful manner before he looked over to where Sasarai and Yukito were. The two brothers who ran the shop were also some of the very few friends of his father, the dragon tailed man more so then the brunette who just seemed to be afraid of Crevan.
"He will be back soon." Yukito said as he went about watering some of the nearby plants with the watering can that was holding, "Once he finds where your brother went." Though Yuki knew that they were sure to hear a rather grouchy Crevan upon his return given how upset he was when he left, "Maybe we should see about preparing something for him to eat after his search, it might put him into a better mood."
"Sounds... a bit more like you would be bear baiting, Yukito." Sasarai said from where he was sitting.
"He's not all that dangerous, just loud." The dragon man assured his brother. He wasn't at all worried, in his eyes Crevan was all bark and no bite... then again there wasn't a single person or creature out there that he was able to think badly of. It was just in the dragon's nature to see the good in everyone and as such he tried to take care of everyone.
"I hope that they can make up." Ashton murmured, drawing his knees up to his chest to stare back over at the door and gave a soft, sighing sound. They had been fighting and Roll ran away... he worried that it was part his fault, should he have followed his brother to keep him from getting lost like he had? His eyes sank half closed and he let his gaze drop looking rather depressed for a moment... only a moment though.
Before he could look to sad for to long he was suddenly swept up into the arms of Yukito who gave him a snuggle, wrapping his arms and tail around him, "Now, now. I am sure that everything is going to be alright little Ashton, there is no reason to worry about anything so much I promise!" He said, kissing the top of the boy's chocolate brown hair, "Come on, how about we go and see about watching all the plants out in the green house? I will let you run the hose... so long as your alright with watching after the shop, Sasarai?"
The brunette gave a nod of his head, "Just... make it quick? In case he gets back before your done." He didn't want to be left alone having to deal with Crevan when he got back from finding his miniature son, "Promise, alright? If you do I will watch after the shop."
Yuki reached one hand out to ruffle his brother's dark hair before nodding, "We will be quick about it, don't worry." He murmured, not wanting to leave his brother to worry the entire time that he and Ashton were away about the 'Big Bad Wolf' appearing to eat him up. He turned on his heel and started out of the shop through the backdoor that was located behind the counter, out into the backyard.
"My Father is really nice." Ashton murmured, "He's... grouchy but... nice." He knew that Yukito would believe him, after all the guy was always so nice to Crevan, always talking with him, smiling at him, they seemed to get along well so he would understand.
Yukito smiled as he walked across the grass barefoot, "I understand. He's not exactly the most... fluffy of people but I have seen his good side before. You see it the best when hes around you and Roll, really. Otherwise hes kind of prickly." Prickly or not though he didn't much mind hanging out with Crevan despite his moodiness. The dragon reached out with his tail to open up the door to the green house and set the boy down on his feet inside.
The green house was an amazing place that seemed to be a lot bigger on the inside then it appeared to be on the outside. It held all sorts of plants from all over the place, a rainbow of colors and all sorts of sweet scents that filled the air, a place that Yukito loved to hang out while studying up on what he planned to do as his future career, "Here we are, lets get you that hose." He said with a smile, walking over to where it was coiled up and got the end of it for Ashton, handing it over to him.
It really didn't take that long before Ashton, more then the plants themselves, was rather soaked from the hose repeatedly getting away from him as he tried to use it to water things. He didn't seem to mind though, the weather was warm as was the inside of the greenhouse. The mushrooms on his arm seemed to perk up as they were soaked, seeming to take on a greenish hue to them. Ashton was sure that if it were darker that they would be gleaming brightly. When the boy was done helping out and drenched to the bone he turned to Yukito, smiling brightly.
"Can I do that again? When the plants are thirsty again?" He chirped, his mood much improved.
The dragon gave a chuckle and a nod, "Of course, now how about we find you a towel?" He said, glad to see his little friend was looking happier now. He held a hand out to Ashton and soon enough the pair were heading inside.

Petal Power: Part Two
Ashton was sitting on the counter on one towel while Yukito dried him off with a second one, "Luckily its nice and warm so there is no risk of a cold." The dragon was saying as he finished up, the boy's hair ending up kind of puffy and in all directions after being brushed out. He blinked his red eyes a couple times before he started to giggle, "Oops, here let me fix that." He set the towel aside so that he could run his fingers through the boy's hair, neatening it best he could without a comb.
The mushroom boy giggled as Yukito tried to fix his hair up, tilting his head slightly as though he were trying to help out, "Thank you." He murmured before he looked over at the door when he heard a ring of the bell but it was just another customer that Sasarai walked over to meet and speak with. He gave a little pout before he went back to watching Yukito as he tried to get his hair to behave, "Better?"
Yukito nodded, "Yeah, not as poofy." He said, doing his best not to giggle though his tail was wagging behind him.
The boy gave a little smile before he scooted to the edge of the counter so he could let his feet hang off the edge, swinging his legs back and forth over it, "Okay, that's good." He didn't really mind one way or the other, he barely did anything with his hair other then get it combed out since at the moment it was a bit to short to do much with... not that guys could do much with their hair that he'd seen so far. His dad kept his short, so did Sasarai and Roll... Yukito had long, pretty hair but it was held back in a braid that went down his back. He lifted a hand to tug at a lock of hair, maybe when he was older it would do something more interesting then occasionally poof out?
He gave a jump as the door opened up in a rather loud manner, drawing his attention to where his Father was. The man all but stalked into the shop and he seemed to be in a bad mood just as Yukito thought he might be... he blinked a couple times before he turned his attention to the dragon man who was already walking forward, reaching a hand out to lay it gently on the man's shoulder.
"Come on now, Crevan. This is a place of business, how about we go and talk outside? Sound good?" Yukito said in an even tone that didn't really allow for any refusal on the part of Crevan since the dragon was asking nicely.
Crevan really did want to refuse, wanted to grump and rage but... he understood that he couldn't throw a fit in the middle of a business. Well... he could and probably would if it were run by anyone but Yukito. The man instead just walked over to scoop up Ashton into one arm before he motioned Yukito lead the way.
Ashton leaned against his Father's chest before lifting his gaze to look at either of his shoulders then up to looking at his face, "Ahh... where is Roll?" He asked in a whisper, sounding rather worried. Was he alright? Where was he?!
The man didn't say anything until after they were outside and the door was closed behind him, "Augh! That guy!" He growled, looking as though he were blow a gasket, "Seriously... there are times I want to just deck him."
"Guy?" Yukito asked, looking between Crevan and Ashton, "And where is Roll?"
"With Kyata... the guy invited him over to escape me... to keep him from being grounded despite the fact that Roll ran off! He shouldn't interfere in my family affairs." He muttered.
Yukito reached up to take Ashton from Crevan's arms then sat down in the grass, "Sit down Crevan, take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth."
The man gave him a dark look before he flopped down in the grass, doing as he was told looking much like a child who was being punished, "Now what?" He asked, in a grouchy manner.
"Again, in through your nose and out through your mouth. It will help you to relax." He said as he let Ashton sit on his lap, the both of them watching as the rather unhappy man did as was suggested to him, breathing in the specified manner, and what felt like an eternity later it seemed as though his anger had abated some what.
"Better?" Yukito asked before giving a smile, "Its probably best that Roll go out tonight, Crevan. It will give you time to decide upon a punishment without your anger leading you."
The made gave a grumbling sound, arms crossing over his chest and he leaned back against the outer wall of the Petal Power building, "I still don't like it, especially him hanging out with Kyata. That guy is a bad influence on my son." He said, rolling his eyes.
Yukito gave a giggle, "And your the best sort of influence." He teased, one of few daring enough to do that with the intimidating man.
"I am his father... not just some random guy that wants to interfear with me." He said in a grumpy way. Even if the dragon had a point wasn't about to let him know now or ever, he didn't like giving up in an argument or giving in to another person's ideas.
The dragon gave a smile, "So, do you and Ashton want to stay with us tonight for dinner?" He asked, "Not sure what we are having but I am sure it will be a bit better then whatever take out your planning on."
Crevan gave him a look, "How do you know we weren't going to have something more then just take out?"
Yukito just starred up at him with one eyebrow arched, "Oh? What were you guys having?"
Crevan fell into silence and then gave a snort, "It doesn't matter now since we are having dinner here with you." He said, his lips turning up into a bit of a smirk.
The dragon smiled back before looking down at Ashton, "What do you think? Sound like fun having dinner here with Sasarai, your father, and I?"
The mushroom boy leaned back against the dragon man's chest before giving a nod, "Sounds like lots of fun, can I help cook?" He asked, having had a lot of fun with the watering of the plants that he wanted to help out even more, especially now that Yukito seemed to have been able to calm down his father into a more even mood then he'd been in when he first rolled in like a storm.
"Sure thing! Once the store closes we will head to the kitchen and see what we come up with." Yukito said, smiling brightly. Ashton gave a cheer of delight and Crevan remained silent though there was the very beginnings of a smile on his lips.

Quest time!
Ashton is a very inquisitive little boy, as Exi has observed from the sidelines. So, in honour of this, she's anonymously sent him a detective's kit! But, as it would seem, this kit holds more than just some silly tools and toys.. and will also hold the key to fixing the mess it's about to start.
Upon the arrival of the kit, things start to go missing. And I don't mean someone stole them. They'll be there one minute, and gone the next. Your car keys will crash to the floor as the entranceway table vanishes. Your flower pot will poof, leaving a mess of soil and unearthed flowers on the hardwood.
What's the key to stopping this? Ashton has to find out! He has any sort of tool he needs in this kit - it would seem that this child sized bag is a bottomless pit for detective tools and solution ideas. Which ones fail miserably? Which one actually, finally helps? As soon as he figures out, only then will everything turn back to normal! With a path of destruction on his hands, Ashton should work fast!
Good luck, little Hiccup!

Playing Detective: Part One: It Starts
It was pretty early when the unexpected item appeared on the door step of the Delano house, something that nobody inside was expecting and nobody had ordered. Crevan had been the first to find it, thinking that the knock on the door was the return of his other son Roll from some time out with that... friend of his. Instead it was an unmarked box that he'd brought inside the house in a rather cautious manner and he'd opened it carefully despite the fact that it had his son's name on it. He didn't know what it was inside or why it had been set to their place... after a bit of tape and some packing peanuts he found the contents of the box.
Crevan and Ashton were standing over what appeared to be a Detective Kit and while it had been delivered to the house with Ashton's name on it but no return address... The two had different looks on their faces, one was excited to the point that he was nearly jumping up and down in place while the other just looked plain suspicious of it. Who just sent such things, things that looked rather expensive, to random children without so much as giving a return address? He looked at his son who looked as though he were wanting to dig into the bag, to see what it contained, and get to play with it.
"Can... I?" Ashton asked, gazing up at his father with huge, chocolate brown eyes.
The man gave the bag before them one last, suspicious glance before shrugging, "I... suppose you can play with it." He said, it didn't look as though it were dangerous in anyway. Maybe Yukito had sent it and just forgot to add a return address? He knew the dragon could be a scrambled at times since he seemed to always be doing a half dozen things as once. He gave the bag a one more looking over before nodding, "Yeah, I guess you can play with it just... make sure that whatever game you play you keep it down, alright?"
Ashton watched as his father went over to flop down on the couch, crossing his arms behind his head and let his eyes close. He gave a bit of a smile as he watched the guy let his eyes close and seemed to be taking himself a nap. Well that meant that he would get to play with everything in the bag without his father stopping him he thought with a bit of a grin before he popped the top of the box over and set to digging around through the bag to see what he could find inside of it.
Half the content of the box weren't things he knew right off hand and while he wanted to ask his father what they might be he didn't want to bother him while he was napping. He would figure it out himself he thought as he took out one of the items, looking it over. A notepad with a pencil with it... must be for taking notes he thought, setting it aside. The next item looked like a brush and went along with a jar of powder. He looked it over for a moment before realizing it was for dusting for finger prints. There was paper and ink for finger printing other people... and... something sparkled in the bag catching his attention.
"What... is that?" He lifted it up and gave a sound of delight as he looked through the magnifying glass around the room. He gave a grin as everything seemed to be a little distorted and made much bigger through the glass. He turned to look back and forth then focused on a distant end table... then blinked in surprise when suddenly it was gone... and the things on the top of it went toppling through the floor before his very eyes.

Playing Detective: Part Two: A Clue!
The mushroom boy slowly lowered the magnifying glass and set it down on the ground before he pushed up to his feet and slowly walked over to where the table had been just a moment before. A terracotta pot was wobbling back and forth before it tilted over... and was gone before it could spill the contents of dirt and the plant as well. He blinked a couple of times before he reached his hand out, waving it where the items had just been... they hadn't gone invisible they were just gone. He gave grumbling sound as he starred at the empty space. He'd worked so hard in potting that plant with Yukito and now it was just... gone! How could things vanish like that?
Ashton's eyes went a little wide and he turned to look over his shoulder for a moment, quietly listening as though he expected his father to appear and start yelling about the noise from the falling items or about how the stuff had disappeared. The little boy held his breath and waited for a long, drawn out moment before he finally relaxed. Good, good... he must be in a deep sleep if he hadn't heard any of that the boy decided before he quickly went to fetch the Detective Bag. Maybe there was something inside of it that would help him in figuring out what made the table vanish he thought to himself. After all if anything was a good mystery it was the mystery of the disappearing table and plant!
He looked over his shoulder toward where his father was sleeping before he set to digging around through the bag to see if there were something that he would be able to use to help crack the case. He chewed on his lower lip while he searched before he drew a roll of crime scene tape out of the bag and did his best not to burst into giggles. He'd seen this stuff used on the television when he was watching those cop shows that his father and Roll enjoyed. He was half tempted to rope off the area but ended up tossing the tape back into the bag before he started to dig around again.
"Let's see... ah-ha! There it is." He picked up the brush and powder and set to spreading it the dust around the area where the stuff had been. Maybe he could find some finger prints of foot prints or something that would give him a clue as to what had taken what he was looking for. He tilted his head to the side when he saw... something strange. There were prints left behind by whoever or whatever had caused the table and the pot to vanish. It made his eyes go wide in surprise as the shape was just... odd. Like nothing he'd ever seen before which caused him a bit of dismay as he realized it was going to be as easy as that.
There was a little flickering of light above him, drawing his gaze upward to the light bulb in the hallway light. By the time he was looking up at it the thing was suddenly gone... plunging the hallway into darkness though he immediately started to give off a soft, green glow to help him somewhat though it had made it impossible to see the prints since the light wasn't nearly as bright as what had been coming off the light bulb.
As he sat there in the hallway he heard what sounded a bit like... skittering? He turned to look down the hallway in the direction that the sound was coming from and he pushed to his feet, "What..." He grabbed up his bag and hurried down the hallway toward where the sound was heading. The kitchen? It was heading for the kitchen! Oh no! What if it made dinner disappear? His father would end up even more grouchy over the idea of dinner vanishing then he would the idea of a random table and plant doing so.
He had to stop the one that was stealing their things before his father woke from his nap and before it could steal more things! Of course he was already to late as he came around the corner into the kitchen he found one of the chairs in the kitchen was already gone....

Playing Detective: Part Three: A Trail...
Ashton gave a bit of a pout when he saw the chair disappear and he hurried into the kitchen, over to where it used to be before he knelt down to look under the table and remaining chairs. That was... odd. He would have sworn that he'd heard the sound of footsteps coming into the room. Was he just hearing things? He didn't think so... He gave a bit of a pout before he started to circle the table as though he might scare out of hiding whatever had taken the chair... no such luck. There just seemed to be nothing there...
The boy turned slowly as he heard that skittering sound once again behind him and he turned around slowly, looking in the direction that he'd of sworn that he heard it in, "Huh...?" His eyes went a bit wide as he realized where the thing was going, "No... no, no..." It was heading to the living room where his father was napping! What if it made the couch disappear out from under him? Ashton felt a moment of panic as he'd been hoping to get this all figured out before Crevan woke up again. If he woke up it meant figuring out things were missing!
He rushed out of the kitchen and into the living room and a sigh of relief escaped his lips when he saw that everything was all still there, still in order. It was nothing he had to worry about since his father was even still sleeping. He turned around in a slow circle then gave a squeak as he watched one of the three piles of laundry that was laying off to the side of the room in need of folding disappeared from sight. He hurried forward toward the remaining piles of clothing as fast as his little feet would take him in hopes of being able to catch sight of the one that was causing everything to vanish... no such luck as once again it seemed to escape from him.
"Ahh... come on... where are you." He murmured to himself, grumbling a bit. He starred down at the remaining piles of laundry, one of them was Roll's pile of clothing and by far the smallest pile and the other was Crevan's clothing and was the biggest pile of laundry. He blinked a couple times as he turned on his heel and started back toward the kitchen first, looking in and realized the missing chair was his chair... the one that he sat in whenever they had dinner with Yukito and the dragon tailed man made them eat at the table. From there he headed back to the site of the first disappearance and realized what vanished was his plant, the table his plant was sitting on, and the light that he was using when looking at the footprints.
"Hey... wait a minute..." That didn't seem nice at all! Whatever was making things vanish wasn't being arbitrary about it. The thing was stealing all of his... Ashton's chocolate brown eyes went wide and he found himself rushing down the hallway to his room and gave a squeak as the door to the room vanished as he was reaching for it and he landed in a heap in his room, "Owwie..." That wasn't very nice at all, mean... invisible, thieving... thing...
He shifted himself so that he was sitting cross legged, looking back and forth in hopes of being able to spot what he was looking for. As he sat there a thought came to him, he wondered... would that thing be able to help? The stuff in the bag? He pushed to his feet and headed for the kitchen to retrieve it. Was there something that might help him to find something invisible? Or was it just small? He wasn't exactly sure so he set to digging around through the bag to find out what it was that he could use for the search. He was at least on the right trail he decided as he watched his lamp vanish.
Whatever he was looking for was in here...
