We're not less important, but there are a whole lot less of us. Christianity is about 33% of the world's population; Islam is, what, 20 or 25%? Jews make up less than 1% of the world's population. As Sarah was the mother of a nation, Judaism is the father of many faiths. (Also, WE haven't started wars. History classes love to talk about wars.)

True. I guess that statistic makes a lot of sense where I live. Only 30 or so Jews crying

I know Saul loved nothing more than a good fight. And Moshe was into spy work. He called on his people to "look upon the land of Canaan" (eg. Gather information on soldiers, etc) He also called upon the Reubenites and the Gadites to become shock-troopers when we were on the doorstep of Canaan, on the east of the Jordan. And the philistines felt our wrath once or twice. I read a horrible figure somewhere stating the the world's Jewish population is between 15-20 million. Christianity nearly has 3 billion and Islam has around 2.5 billion. Ouch.

There are 2 Sauls in the Tenakh. One was a king of Edom, southeast of Canaan, and the other was the first King of Israel chosen and annointed by Samuel. King Saul of Israel is necessary knowledge.

silent_death_is_loud I'm happy with all the responses I've gotten, but I'm wondering how I'd tell him. To my friends and brothers, I just kinda blurted out that I was pregnant and ran away (I'm kinda cowardly). But I know I can't run away from the rabbi. lol, I'll admit it, I'm scared. first thing first....congrats...... any way...... while im not saying being preggers at 16 is a good thing....im not gonna condem some one for it.... my rabbi just let our kesher(youth group) know that one of our old friends who moved away is now 18 and preggers..... if your rabbi is like mine he'll probably be a bit dissapointed....... but still, is it a boy or a girl? whee
