Somehow, Yaxha wasn't really expecting her to find much of a name in the sky. Skies were for clouds, birds, and gods, not names.
But either way, he wasn't about to press it. If she wanted to try and find some name flying by on a whim (and what were the chances?), she was allowed to do so. He wasn't going to say "YOU'RECRAZY' or anything of the sort to it.
"I'm looking for nothing. I've walked into the point in my life where seeking anything out would require prompting of sorts, as I've found all that I require."
Nnn, not very deep, but overall that seemed to be a resounding 'ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, WOMAHN D<'... only nicer, since Yaxha wasn't exactly an aggrivater.

But wouldn't a name have fit so nicely up there with all the clouds and birds and gods too? It seemed like a more appropriate place to search than the ground, anyway, where there was nothing but dirt (which was far less pretty to contemplate) and trees (though they did make for great shade) and crunchy prickly grasses...
Nnn, well, no matter. She'd just keep gazing off at the sky with her lofty hopes and dreams to keep her going.
"That's lucky..." What now? "... You're lucky to have it all, know your place, see the path clearly... mm, it's almost enviable..."
God only knew what 'path' she was talking about or what place she imagined Yaxha magically had in the world to be so seemingly content, but again, no matter. Such were the ramblings of a crazy hippie with no direction.
"Is it nice, having nothing to seek?"

"I hardly have 'everything'." he replied flatly, but it was rather true. If he did have everything, he'd have a proper home, a mate, and two and a half kids and no buzzard problems. That would have been a half-decent life.
If not a little boring.
Then again, his life as it was right then was just as boring. "It's a lot less exciting than it would sound from the surface. I have no 'drive' to say the least. All I really have is what was already placed down on my shoulders - a name and some knowledge."
And a heartbeat. That was always pleasant too.
"So I'd say that I'm far from lucky. I'm lonely and lost as I have come to the end of my path and have yet to have found a direction to go with it, Ira'Quinh."
Ohae.
She could have nickname! Then again, it wasn't as though she had given herself one yet anyways.

Wait-- so he didn't have everything? But he had a strong mind, a good heart, a place to lay down at night, some decent instincts and a name, so... what was missing? Eshe couldn't really think of anything else a lion could possibly want out of life!
Although he did have a point about the lack of motivation. What would she have been doing if there was no name missing to go and find? Would she have found another purpose to keep her chasing the sunset, or just sunken into?
... Lonely and lost, he'd said-- and what was that at the end? She'd been so distracted by the first half of the statement that she nearly missed the second, face glazing over in a momentary look of befuddlement and looking back to the sky.
"You don't seem very lost to me," she reasoned at last, but slowly, as if treading carefully over each word. "You've been found, haven't you?" By her, that was! "You can't be lost and found at the same time, really... at least, so far as I know. I've never been both before..."
She was either extremely idiotic or extremely deep with all that rambling, and it was impossible to tell which.

"Lost isn't a matter of if one knows where you are or not. Even when lost, you can say where you are. However, to be lost you need to be somewhere that isn't where you want to be or in the right direction.
I am far from anyplace that would be a 'destination'."
Yeah, if he'd had one.
But more or less, it made enough sense, Yaxha finally stretching out his own limbs, back curling as he reached his legs out faarrrrrr above his head and his hind legs out towards the end of his tail. Mmmm, if he'd been a Kanda, his back probably would have made a nice sounding crack-pop of relief and 'Ohae, is back in place!'
But his spine had never really been removed from it's 'place' as far as he was concerned (as was it's. Not as though a lot of pressure was put on it to keep him upright. He had four legs to stand on!)
"So perhaps you were both at once, mm?"

And once again, his statements were curiously puzzling to Eshe; so this wasn't a destination? Why not? Wasn't he here already after being somewhere else at a previous point in time? She'd always thought that alone was enough...
Geez, Yaxha was sounding more and more like some pathless morose stick in the mud; that wouldn't do at all!
"Perhaps," she answered simply, sweetly, watching a cloud that looked very much like two elephants skipping rocks, and (YET AGAIN) yawning after he'd done the same. Really, those things were contagious; if they weren't careful, they'd keep passing them back and forth to one another until they were BOTH out cold.
"Still though..." Persistent dreamy optimism was hard to beat down, huh? "If you aren't in a destination you'd call a destination, why not just... get up and go seek one? I think paths only end when you stop walking... They're your steps, right? What's behind you, not what's ahead? ... Unless you're walking the path of someone before you, but that doesn't seem like it'd be half as interesting..."
Mmmm, so torn between sleep and chatter, too. Both seemed soooo nice... shame she couldn't do two at once.

"But path's go both ways, behind and beyond. So if I'm where my path ends, wouldn't that mean I should have dropped off the face of the world by now?
I can only keep going until then."
Annnd...
There went another Yawn. Honestly, between the two of them, they were playing volleyawn. Loser was the first one to conk out, but by then who would have been awake enough to be keeping score? Following that yawn, however, Yaxha toppled over onto one of his sides, stretching his legs out in front of him.
Nnnn.
Naps were growing to be more and more tempting of an idea, but at the same time, it had been so long since he'd had a proper conversation... was it really worth it to him to just.. conk out in the middle of it?

"I guess..." Okay, that statement seemed a little contradictory to what he'd been saying beforehand, but it did make for a good counter-argument anyway, so she had to give him the proper kudos for it...
...........
Plus another yawn. Because they just kept piling up more and more. Mmm, heavy eyelids, too-- and that pair of elephants overhead was starting to get all blurred into a more nondescript shape....
"You have very strange views," she couldn't help but comment, claws kneading all happily-like in the fluff of her chest like a contented cat in the sun-- which she was, more or less. "Almost melancholy... though I imagine I'd be the same if I'd lost my wa-- hey!"
Hey what? What was that exclamation about all of a sudden, and why'd she look so elated?
"You can hop on my path instead if you like." Um... yeah, what? "I don't really know where it's going, but I'm sure it is going somewhere and that somewhere is probably rather pleasant. What do you say?"

... .....
Were there customs for making a path leap onto someone else's path in life? Like did he need to make a sacrifice to the spirits of self-direction and make sure he didn't have too much baggage or he'd tumble horribly off the edge and die?
How did such a thing even work anyways?
Yaxha spent some time puzzling over the offer and all of the questions that had popped into his head because of what she'd said, his expression bordering on something that would have been hilarious to anybody outside of his beliefs and able to peer into his thoughts.
Ah ha ha.
"Are you sure there's enough room on it for a tag-a-long?" he inquired, finally looking over at the ever so content hippie!Lioness as his sentance came to an end.

Oh, good question, actually-- she'd not considered the space on the road before! Then again, though, Eshe wasn't aware of any physical space restrictions on a philosophical path that didn't actually exist in tangible form, so she saw no reason for crowding...
Yes, seemed logical enough to her! Nevermind that she'd probably just missed the actual meaning of his question, but it worked!
"I'd imagine so," she half-yawned-half-purred, doing that little shoulder-shrugging motion again. "Granted that I've never tried it before, but... it couldn't hurt to try, right? And no harm in a little elbow-brushing anyway, if it does happen. I certainly don't mind."
So there, the problem was all solved! Mr. Spirit and Purpose could tag along and find his way with her! Although...

Yeah, she'd kinda missed what he'd actually meant. But then again, most paths probably had a way of widening up when needed. What with all those unexpected pregnancies that had ways of occuring. Paths probably expanded like organ tissue!
... ......
Huh, guess instead of exploding they just tossed off members, didn't they?
"Most lions just get a name at birth and hold onto it for their entire lives." he replied, a sort of explanation for why he 'already had a name' and didn't need to seek one out. As he saw it, he was well enough off with the name he had.
Certainly an ill-fitting name, but it was a name.
"The one I was given was 'Yaxha'." he finally said, allowing the stranger to think of it what she would (Who on earth would have named their very brown child 'Green'?).

... Uh, yeah, okay, well the kind of stuff in that analogy was about as far as could possibly be from her mind right now. Wandering hippies searching for their name didn't usually consider those kind of... er, 'bumps' in the big path of life, y'know?
"Really?" Funny, for such an intelligent lioness (... well sort of, she was also a space case and a lunatic to negate that), Eshe seemed blissfully unaware of the 'norm' for lions elsewhere-- like the fact that they didn't have to go chasing their names on some epic spiritual quest halfway across Africa.
... Which was sadly damn near a realistic gauge of her traveling, what with how long she'd been out wandering now.
"Yaxha... rolls off the tongue curiously. Strong sounds. I like it." Never mind that it really didn't fit him at all in the color department; she wouldn't overthink it. "Then you are Yaxha..." And then another of things biiiiiiig yawns, seemingly out of the blue. "... And I think it's time for a nice snooze in the sun..."
Wait-- what about the convesat-- ... Nope, too late, she had already PASSED OUT on her back with a serene smile, perfectly innocent and content with the state of all things.
... What a weird girl.

Aannnnd... .... ......... ............
Okay, no need to expect a name back from a nameless person (or so he'd suspected of her) and even more from a SLEEPING person. While Yaxha wasn't going to press the idea of POSSIBLY getting some chatting done, he did have to make a bit of a face at how quickly she'd conked out.
And now that he'd been tossed onto HER path of life, he might as well have taken the time to just sleep as well... ... .....
Nnnnn... ....
