Janja grabbed the beast by it's leg in a fit of confusion. She scissored her teeth on the lame leg before give a sharp tug forward with her maw. As the back legs were already slid out of blace, the creature only had balance on one leg and came down with force. It struggled but Janja had move to clamp down on the creatures neck.

Uzuri panted heavily as the beast fell. The rush of it all felt good, and she loved the feeling of her lungs heaving. Her mouth was dry, but her anticipation for the impending meal made her tongue drip with saliva.

With one powerful motion of her jaw, the beasts neck was snapped between her teeth. She let go the the tender flesh between her jaws and wagged her tail. The hunt was exhilitrating; he bones still shook with excitment. "Do the honors?" Janja asked, refering to the opening of the beast. She watched as the creature still struggled lightly; it's body not reailzing that the brain was dead.
Brown eyes glittered with pride.

Uzuri crept up slowly from the side, tongue falling out of her mouth in exhaustion; for such a small pup, the task was draining. She momentarily layed herself acroos the limp beast's side, stroking it with her claws.
Looking up, she could see the joy on Janja's face; it filled Uzuri with confidence, and she was happy that she had chosen to stay here with her.
With a last glance into the beast's glazed over eyes, Uzuri tore into the rough hide of the beast; her teeth made small holes, but it was a start. As soon as she has gotten a big enough opening, she backed to the side, allowing Janja to eat next to her.

Janja watched her pup tear open the belly of the wildebeast, making an opening in its side. The burning pride still shining in her eyes. She was so pround of the pup as if the pup were her own young one. She was sure she would feel this way if she had her own pups.
She watch Uzu move to the side; the running had worked up her appetite, and she was suddenly glad for the large meal, especially as she had not been eating properly lately. This meal would definately be a good one.
She let herself fall into place next to Uzuri and dipped her head. With a sideways glance, she tore into a chunk of tender flesh into her mouth.

Uzuri lifted her head, letting the cool breeze filter through her fur; the sun had begun its descent to the horizon, and she had had her fill of fun for the day.
Looking down at Janja, Uzuri smiled; she was so happy that she had chosen to stay here with her. Although she still wasn't overly keen on the idea of a 'family' quite yet, she loved the company and support.
She took one last bite and sat on a rock near the carcass; Uzuri's stomach was full, and she was content.

Janja gave a smile at Uzuri; finally finishing her large meal. It was the largest she had in a while. Brown eyes glittered in content and she glanced over to Uzuri. Her lovely pup, who was growing up so well.
Janja smile dsoftly at her pup. "Alright, I think it's time to go sun bath... or at least rest in the den," Janja said patting her full belly.
