Kuuvil wandered into town, looking lazily around at his surroundings. "God...What a dump." he whispered to himself in his low-pitched(for his age) voice. As he walked through the road, many passersby looked at him with questioned faces at his fox-like mask. None dare go near him, for fear of bad luck. "Now....to get some grub. I hear there's a good chef in town...what was his name.....'Mad Max' or something?"

"I'm not sure if you've noticed but I'm just a teny tiny bit preoccupied. I have orders to fill and since the food won't cook itself very well, my attention is is not something I can give to you in full. If you want my full and undivided attention you'll have to wait until my shift is over, which isn't for another forty minutes." Max mixed the sauteed onions intot he egg and folded it into an omlet and slid in onto a plate and launched it out the window. The boy grabbed a rag and wiped the sweat off his forhead and hit the air vent to suck up some of the smoke and fumes. The boy ripped another slip of paper off the window and read it.
He grabbed a pineapple and set it up on the counter before greabbing a mango and a weird drill and slice the top off the pineapple before drilling the pineapple hollow and throwing the mango and pineaple core into a blender and turning it on. The boy slid over to a freezer and pulled out two ice cubes and threw them into the empty pineapple. He slid back to the blender and poured the contents into the pineapple and finished by dropping in a straw and stabbing a tiny umbrella ontot he pineapple's rim. Unlike the previous orders, Max set the pineapple drink smoothie on the window stile.
"What do you what my attention for anyways? If ya wanna chew me out, feel free to do it now, my ears work just fine. But my hands and eyes have a prior engagement. I still need to make up for the orders I put off during my little... distraction." Max turned his head around and looked a Erica for a second before returning to making sure nothing burned. The kitchen heat was nothing short of exhausting. Max swiped three more tickets from the window and began to fill them.

Kuuvil kicked open the door, unsure himself if it was out of rage or just for attention. "I need food!" He yelled. He sat down at a table, looking around at all the people. "Even the people around here are weird. I hope this 'Mad Max' person cooks better than I hope, or this stop is going to SUCK. Can I get a waitress over here?"

Sid Sinclair stood up and walked over to the newcomer and stood over him, dworfing the normal sized human. "Excuse sir, but if you don't settle down and control yourself, I'll be forced to ask you to leave my establishment. Understood?" The giant resturant owner stared into the boy's eyes.

He let out a deep sigh. "Fine. But....you aren't my waitress......are you?" he asked the large man in wonder.

"I'd have to say not. Marcy!" The giant man called out. A waitress came over quickly. "Please help this gentleman to a table and provide him with a breakfest menu." Said the large chef. "Right away Mister Sinclair." The waitress replied before leading the lad to an empty table and handing him a menu. "I'll be back shortly for your order." she said as she placed a glass of icy cold water on the table and went to tend the other tables.

"hmmm...." he looked over his menu to find something that caught his eye, but to no avail. "Well.....this doesn't sound as good as I had first expected. The cook better make me one smashing omlette or I'm never coming back here. Wonder if they can put some zucchini on this thing." He impatiently waited for his order, humming a strange tune while tapping his fingers on the table, waiting for the waitess to come back.

Erica arched an eyebrow as it began to twitch ever so lightly, closing her eyes as she did, "Distraction...."
Sebastian and Julia heads went up suddenly. They knew the feeling all to well. Julia looked over to her father, "Well at least she will be exhausted for a day or so, it not easy to do that in an area this big." Sebastian shook his head and rubbed the bridge of his nose. Yes, he knew that, it was the one negative side to Erica's extrodinary gift. Still, her personality made it extremely hard for her to act normally around people. Always so guarded, so protective, so mysterious.....so....cautious. After all, the King himself was credited for it. The town knew Erica to be his daughter, but only the three of them, Juila, Erica, and himself, knew otherwise. Sebastian knew if something messed up, he would have to get Julia to work her speical gift as well.
Sebastian tucked his fingers under his chin as he slowly watch time slow to a stop. Movements became crawls until they stop all together and voices echoed away in mid word or sentence. Dish hung in the air with arms stretched out to catch them. All of Yazcau and its occupients was lost in time. The question was, how long would Erica keep it up? However, Sebastian and even Julia failed to recognize a sudden still in a newcomer off on the otherside of the restuarant. Someone that was very still to keep from being noticed as he took in his sudden stop in surroundings.
Erica opened her eyes slowly, ready to give the brat one hell of whalp on the head that he would never remember seeing coming or understand how it happened. However she froze on spot at the sight of him. He was glaring back her, hands on hips. He was ******** moving still and apparently had yet to notice the stop in time. How was he still moving! Only her father and sister and a few others were not effected by her ability.

Max's eyes focused at the flames under the frying pan. They weren't moving. Nor was the clock on the wall. Max looked at Erica for a second before poking his head out the window and saw the resturant frozen in time. Plates hung in midair, people frozen in mid bite, a glass of water suspended in midair on its way down after being knocked over by a clumsy customer. "What.... the hell?" Max redirected his attention to the governer and his daughter and saw them blink. He spun around and stared at Erica. "Who the hell are you? Wait! WHAT the hell are you?" Max yelled as he pointed at her. Sid Sinclair darted his eyes back and forth as he took notice of the time stop. Deciding not to draw attention to himself, the giant man remained motionless, taking in only tiny breaths of air that went unnoticed by those also unaffected by the pause in time. Max cracked his knuckles and marched over to Erica and gripped the knife on his hip firmly. Tell me what's going on right now!" Max's eyes glared at the baffled girl.

"ooh...." he said, looking at the large meal in front of him. He picked up his fork and dropped it to the ground, using his hands to pick up the gooey concauction. He lifted up his mask, but only to his mouth, so that he may eat. "Pretty tasty....my compliments to the chef." he said while taking massive bites of his omlette. "Although....can I get a little salsa?"

((Heinz_Doofenshmirtz...you need to change your post))
Erica watched the boy come towards and focused everything she could on him and yet he still came with a determination that could have been equal to her own at times. She raised her hand suddenly to him, ready to attack, but something knocked her clear off her feet and through the kitchen door that shattered on impact. Something had hit her square in the chest before she even has a chance of thinking of her choosen method of attack. Some sort of defense.
Erica landed on her shoulder as she slide to stop just before the table were her father, sister, and Sid were at. She propped herself up on her good elbow and looked at the broken door that now had the young boy coming out of it. Both her and him were startled as all hell about what was had just happened.
Sebastian eyes widen in shock as his daughter was sent flying from the kitchen to the ground before their table. There was no way the young boy could have done something like that. Julia, uncaring of playing their acting game anymore, rushed to her sisters side and help her up on her unsteady feet. "Erica...what happened," said Julia in a frantic voice.
"Some kind of barrier," rasped out Erica as her lungs demanded oxygen, "It can't be his own...." Sebastian had gotten up by now, disregarding his act. He took Erica in his arms, leaned her up against his side as she was having trouble standing up. His attention was completely directed to the young boy, "Julia...find out what you can...but be careful."
Julia gave a nod before looking at young cheif. Eyes glowed only for a brief second before she reared back, clutching her head like someone was trying to remove her brain through her ears. Despite the pain, not one word was eeped but the pain expression was very evident on Julia's face, "I can't, something...no...someone is protecting him. A spell, very old, very powerful, is around him." She turned to Sid, and attempted to us her gift once more. This time she merely brushed his mind and immediately retreated, still she recieve a blow to her mind but it was much lesser. "Even his father has the spell on him. Their family is being protected by someone...!"

Sid also grew tired of playing this little game and he walked over to Max and grabbed his wrist to make him drop the knife. "That's enough Max. As for you ladies, I suggest you return time to its normal pace, I know that time distortation is a power magic but a very draining one as well." Max looked at his father baffled at his calmness. Sid calmly strolled over to Erica. "How much longer do you think you can stop time? One minute? Five minutes? Or are you ready to stop from exhaustion any second now? We are Sinclairs. Do not group us with normal people. Because we are not. Our ancestors protect us, and in return we keep the Sincalir family firmly attached to its roots."

((Couldn't figure out any other way for me to post. sweatdrop ))
Gwen watched what happened. "She'll be able to maintain it," she muttered to herself as she closed her eyes. She focused on Erica, giving her strength for the spell.
