Ebony grinned. "I'd like to do that. But I probably can't here. Some of the songs are all about god and angels and I don't wanna offend anyone or make them too homesick." she said, her voice a bit quiet like she was embarrassed at her reasoning. "I was hoping to maybe see if one of my friends could help me learn to sing better. Practice is good, but practicing the wrong thing kinda has bad results. Or so Mommy says anyway. I'm inclined to believe her."

Hyacinth's eyes widened slightly at her reason then gave her a smile, "It is so kind that you think of such things Ebony." He murmured, giving a little flutter of his good wing, "There are some who might be bothered by the song, others who might take heart from it though. There are days its hard to remember what is outside of this place, we are to used to it." At least that was how it was with him, he had grown used to the place, to the people, and found it hard to really remember home, his other 'sisters', 'brothers', and at times even his 'father'.
"I would ask Anani about it if you catch her when she is alone, do so alone as well. You would be on even ground then." He suggested.

"Yes, I figured. I don't really want to take anyone with me cause it might upset her. I was going to take her her poinsettia alone last time but she was visiting you anyway."
Idly the girl wondered. "I wonder what she's up to about now..."

He nodded, "She likes to check in on everyone, somewhat like a mother hen... though she is just as quick to peck when she thinks we need it." He rubbed the back of his head in thought. She hadn't been pleased to hear he was babysitting Almas and Luthor, she thought he was being to kind... a strange sort of thing for an angel to say to another angel...
"I am not sure, I haven't heard her singing so she might not be in her room... then again she might be sulking instead." He looked over at Almas and gave a smile, "He's sleeping... good. He worries to much over stuff, works to hard even with injuries... I all but had to sit on him to keep him still the passed couple days."

Ebby nodded. "Maybe I'll pop in and visit her in a while."
His comment about Almas's sleeping caused her to stifle a giggle. "I can imagine that. You sitting on him would be funny." Only problem she had was picturing Hyacinth sitting on Almas's lap for a bit, which wasn't as big of a problem to her as it should be to an older person. After all, she was a kid and in her mind, sitting on a lap was normal.

Hyacinth gave a little laugh, "It would be. If its what has to be done to keep him from aggravating his injury then I suppose it must be done." He said, giving a smile and a shrug. What it might look light with him sitting on Almas was lost on the to innocent angel, the only reason on his mind for doing it would be to keep the Fallen still.
Luthor gave a little narrow of his eyes at the talk of sitting on Almas, not seeming to like the idea of other people cuddling his Daddy and sitting on his lap. Only HE should be able to do that he thought to himself in a slightly selfish way.

Ebony smiled. 'You think I should stop in and see if she's around?" the girl asked, cocking her head warmly to the side. "I can probably find my way about the Celestial Quarters till I find her."

Hyacinth nodded, rising to his feet, "If you think you can find your way around without any sort of hassle then you should see if you can find her. I am sure she could use the company." He told her, waiting for her to rise before he started to arrange Almas on the bed so he could tuck him in.

Ebony grinned and nodded. "Yeah, I'll do that." she said with a nod. "See you later Hyacinth. Bye Luthor, nice meeting you." the girl finished, leaning down to give Luthor a hug (cause she did that to everyone so the idea that he'd object was beyond her) and wandered out to search for Anani. Where to look, where to look?
Being that she had no clue where to start, she figured trying to locate Anani's room would be the first task. Wandering a bit down the hall, she spotted a door - she didn't know if it was the first or third she passed, being as she wasn't particularly adept at paying attention yet. But hey, worth giving a shot. The worst that could happen was she'd wake up an angel and have to apologize for politely knocking on their door to see if the person she was looking for was there. And that she could handle (she'd dealt with Dartie, Charlie and Kahlua when they were first waking up, after all)
Surprisingly, she'd actually found Anani's door, not that she actually knew this. Quickly she gave three small raps on it, lightly with her knuckles. It was how her Mommy had taught her a 'polite' knock was to be done, pretty much. (Whereas a 'GET THE ******** DOOR OPEN NOW' knock consisted of profusely banging and shouting)

Hyacinth gave a wave, having to surpress a giggle when he saw the look of surprise on the little spawn's face at the surprise hug. He turned to look over at Luthor, "We will have to be quiet to let your Daddy rest." He told the little one, moving over to get a pitcher of water for his flower.
Luthor watched the angel as he got lost in his care of the plant, looked to his Daddy who was resting deeply... then turned to the door where Ebony had vanished. He pushed to his feet grabbing his golden crayon and the pig plush by its arm and went toddling after her... she was going to see another angel and he was curious.
*****
There was an extended pause between the knock and any sort of answer, at first giving the indication that the room was empty... before Anani appeared. She looked somewhat... confused, as though nobody had ever bothered to knock before. She was looking out across the hall... then looked down.
"Huh...? Oh, its you." She murmured, starring at Ebony for a long moment before stepping back into her room but left the door open for her to enter as she would.

"Hallo again Anani. How have you been? I hope you haven't caught any colds? The weather lately's been really chilly." the spawn intoned as she followed the angel in. Getting to business was supposed to be important, but Ebony felt awkward and weird starting out like that without even asking how the person she had come to visit was doing.

"Its warm enough, even the garden is headed by the Labs." She said simply, as though it weren't that important to her... then she looked over at Ebony to ask, "And you are well?" Upon seeing that she wasn't traveling with Almas or Enki her temper hadn't risen any higher then it already was.
She crossed her arms over her chest, waiting and watching her, and seemed to be doing her best not to look behind her where the plant was sitting. It was on a nice table with a lacy table cloth under it, obviously being well taken care of.

"Well that's good. The weather's kinda nasty and colds aren't fun - my one brother got one. I'm okay though."
Ebony grinned broadly and did a small, slow circle to take in the room. It was nice enough. When she spotted the plant she'd given the Abstinence angel behind her, she smiled before turning back to face Anani. "Do you like your poinsettia? You seemed interested in it last time we spoke."

She gave a little shrug, "I guess so, its a pretty enough plant." And she could threaten people that if they went near it they would be in danger because it was poisonous. She turned and walked toward it, looking it over, "I like it. Just the room... life to it."
It gave her something to do as well, something to look after, "I don't talk to it though like Hyacinth does."

"S'okay. I think it would understand." Ebby said. The statement was meant humorously, and given how the girl was, it was decently delivered as well.
"So....I came to visit you to ask you about somethin." she continued sheepishly, awkward about transitioning into business from her usual chatter. "I heard you singing before, that time in the garden.....and I've been trying to learn to sing lately.....and wondered if you might be able to help me get a bit better? Or at least give me a few pointers...if you wouldn't mind..."
