"well its good to see you Relena. I'm glad you caught up." Sang puppet hollers out over the crowed. having just arrived a few minuets ago his body was still coated in a light sweat. his pants and shoes were nearly torn to pieces and shredded from the grasses. surprisingly he didn't smell, that bad, as he passed through the crowed most people passing him off from just getting away from the fields. "you look like you're having a hard time here. let me help you." He continues looking like he was in no mood to talk or answer any questions. being so close to his creator reaffirmed a weak mental link. only emotions were transferable at this point but he knew he had to hurry. every step felt like a life time, and his chest sunk into a pit deeper than the seas.

"come on Relena i need you to get here..." Sang sighs softly into the night air. his face turned out side the window. his elbows rested on the window sill as he could barely see the glow of the street lights and torches. even though it was only early sun set most of the villagers got a head start so business could continue as normal. getting lost in his worries, and knowing that he would soon have to move about the house getting things ready for the next day, and feed the baby's when they cried. he didn't even notice Surete shift her attention towards the town. even her low growls or purrs didn't even phase him. but when her herd something flowing from Rains lips his head rose a little bit expecting to see her eyes peering down at him as if he wern't doing enough. looking to Surete after seeing where Rain was looking he rose off the sill. "Whatis it Surete?"

"I dont know sang. but i dont think we are alone here any more..."

"My puppet?

"No someone else"
PostPosted: Tue Jun 16, 2009 8:58 pm

Relena turned to the Puppet and stared at him. The puppet wasn't kidding when he said he was in hurry to get back to Ceunon. The puppet must have been right on her heels after she landed earlier nearly. She gave a small nod as she walked up to him, "Fine. Lead the way."

Despite her appearance, Relena was ever so much on guard and ready to pick a fight if someone wish to start something with her. She was ready to remove the Puppet if need be. At the current moment, Gwen and Kaida had her full attention. If and only if Sang and Mai prove to be real would she change her mind set, if she did at all. Too many things were happening at once and need less to say, Relena was getting old and rusty. She failed to remember the last real time she slept and did not simple have her body slowly fad away day by day. She doudt she was as menacing and dangerous as she looked.

((im sorry about this Relena biggrin ))

"Than come with me." The puppet comments his hand gripping on to hers firmly as he immediately turned and started walking for the edge of town. moving as quickly as he could through the crowds Relena was often times left to duck and weave her way through the ones that didn't notice the moving through. probably setting her temper far above what he would have wanted to see. but with every twist and turn he would push off that much faster, and harder from his foot. counter acting her need to move as he tugged her through. once the crowed was behind them he made a straight beeline down the roads. his eyes locked ahead of him in a furry of emotions as he did his best to not bolt into the fastest run he could possibly do. but when the cobble stone streets went to dirt and the sweet chilling breeze drifted over the grassland around them the puppet knew he would be safe to do just that.
"hop on." He comments as more of a warning as he lightly tosses her on to his back. taking off like a flash of lightning into the night just in time for her body to get settled. the city turned into nothing but a glimmer against the sun light lake. as the grasses started to turn a soft purple and the air took on the wet cold feel from the lake the woods came ever near. sticking out in a little 'key' of the forest a single house stood. with only one window light it seamed a bit abandoned from the distance.

Surete and rain had long sense hid from the normal eye when she felt the person come ever closer, and sang was standing out side his front door. though drained of every drop of desire to breathe he was standing strong waiting for their arrival, ready to fight even the king,in his own way if the new comers were not on a friendly visit.

Relena was so not amused by the Puppets actions. She didn't even give him time to stop as the house came into his view. Her legs slip through the puppets grasp and were soon panted on the square of his back. Relena quickly crouched down and kicked off sending the Puppet head first into the mud and muck as it skidded to a stop. Before the Puppet had a chance to get up from the ground, Relena was upon him in her dragon forms that was slightly larger than he previously seen earlier. Her large claw paw engulfed him as she pressed him into the ground. Only his head was visible.

"Lets get one thing straight Puppet," growled Relena, "Ever, EVER, do that again and I promise I won't be the cure you seek for Mai. I will become the exact opposite in fact!" She pressed him further into the ground to prove her point before she jumped off of him and looked around at her surroundings ahead of her. The house was behind her however.

She gave a shutter at the vibrated through her hold dragon body. She felt it again, but this time it was closer than before.

Turning back to the Puppet halfway, she glared down at him from the corner of her eye, "Now, we better be close for your sake," said Relena as she snapped her jaws at him.

"what sake is there for something created to act and then die?" The puppet asks. his voice and eyes filled to the brim with rage. his own mind turning into a torrent of curses and visions of Relenas blood spilling over every aspect around them. but before another word could be uttered the puppet suddenly burst into a dim blue and green flame filling the air above him with a soft red smoke. that collected and raced towards the houses direction.

"Its good to see you Relena." Sang comments a bit on the cold side as he keeps his eyes locked on the mass of shattered stacks of wood. as his hand caught the ball of swirling smoke. having ran up to a few meters away from his creations side just after Relena had changed her form. With the smoke dissipating into his skin like his own blood Sang took in a deep breath his stature rising slightly as he got a burst of energy from the spell coming to a close. "I apologies for the rough treatment. But Mai's condition has gotten a lot worse... please come into our home and rest. im sure you'll need a minuet before your willing to talk." Sang comments his hand dropping to his side as he waits or her response.

Relena turned to Sang voice and set her eyes upon him for the first time in a long time. Time went still for her. He was real, flesh and blood. She didn't truely believe the Puppet until this very moment. Her expression soft and her stance relaxed slowly as she finally lowered her guard in over 500 years. She had truely thought she was alone all these years, that the those of her past were either killed in the war or passed on as time went by.

"Sang," she said quietly and gave a bow of her head. "It has been a long time." Suddenly Relena looked her age. Every single year of the pass 500 became etched in her face.

Relena's form shifted as she took her human form and took him up on his offer, flowing him inside. She instantly smell the scent of disease and sickness when she entered the dwelling. It was same one for so long ago when Mai was once within the Varden borders. "How long," asked Relena as she press the flat of her palm against the door that seperated her from Mai person in the bedroom.

"I know it has." Sang comments softly before leading her into his house. feeling a little ashamed that his house was in shambles at the moments but her question pulled his eyes way from his mothers words and his past self when he lived alone.
"Its been about 13 months now,... honestly im surprised the little ones didn't contract anything when she was breast feeding them." Sang comments with a half smile at the warm memories of her better days when she could still move about. but it was still stifled at the fear that was gripping his soul. pushing the door open slowly Sang steps into the room. the light from the sun looked like it was cloaked in a fine dust or smoke but other than that the room was the only immaculately cleaned area in the hole house. with the acceptation of the bed spread, Mai was currently motionless beneath, every thing looked like it had been resting for the 500 years that they have been apart.
"shhhhhh. its all right you two, shes a friend." he comments leaning over the twins crib as the baby's slightly stirred from their play.

Relena looked to him and shook her head, "Not if it is a posion affecting her. Is there anything she has been taking that no one else has , or doing, or possibly performing, since she has become ill or little beforehand? Such things that would involving the children can be ruled out."

Relena followed him and gazed upon Mai form. She looked as wary and faded as Relena was on the inside but was unable to keep it from showing to the public though. She walked over to Mai that woke up slightly at feeling her magic's presence and that one of an old friend. Each exchange a brief and silent hello with a simple nod of their heads before Mai became unconsicous once again. "Oh my dear friend," whisper Relena quietly as she brushed Mai's hair from her forehead gently before replacing the cold wet cloth that previous adorn the area.

Deep down inside Relena had seen Mai as the sister she lost. She had become overprotective of the woman. It pained her to see the woman like this. "You are sure the children, nor yourself, are infected to the slightest degree," asked Relena in a gentle tone, her eyes never leaving Mai's form as she study the toll that the illness took on the outside of her body.

Mai had stirred and woken up from Releana. But as soon as she had fallen back to sleep the dream began.

Dream:

Mai was alone in a waste land. There was dead grass, dead trees, and no signs of life but herself. They was a low groweling that turned into a panicked howl.

Mai turned around an aw nothing. But out of thin air large dragon had appeared. But it only looked like a shadow. It was black. It had red eyes. Chains surrounded it, trying to pull it back into the nothing.

"Save me momm,"[/b It was the dragon that spoke in a young females vpice....only the age of five it would seam. Mai fell to th ground. She was in dibelief on what she saw. Why had it called Moomy? And why did the dragon sound like a child?

there was one more wale from the dragon before it disapeared into a thin smoke. But the smoke had turned to blood hand poured onto of Mai. Mai was not only screaming in her dream, but in reality too.

"poisons hit the blood stream Relena if it was something like that it would pass to our children, and possibly me if it was our water supply." Sang commetns softly before he herd Mai scream. sang nearly left the twins alone in a viscous wake but he did his best to keep calm as he walked up to Mai's side and gently took her hand. checking for her pulse he lets out a long sight. "She is vary week Relena, She hasn't moved from her bed in ages and i cant keep this up forever... Can you help us? ... Please" Sang pleads nearly begging as he drops to his knees his lips kissing Mai's skin as he fight back his tears as Surete and Rain looked through the windows their eyes filled with worry and fear.

Relena placed a hand on Sang shoulder, "Go and be with your children. I will do what I can, but right now your children need you more." She turned to the worry stricken and crying twins," You need to calm their pains, Mai senses them and it is affecting her. She does need to be worrying about them at the moment."

Relena stepped back to let Sang leave the room. "I promise, I will fall before Mai does. It is oath."

"Dont make me trade my wife for a dear friend Relena. please." He comments softly as he stands up. heasatently moving to the twins he takes them both into his arms before moving into the living room. taking a exhausted seat near the fire place. the twins would fall asleep quickly with the warmth from the fire place and Sangs relaxed state as he looked straight into the flames. his mind turning blank as tears started to trickle down his cheeks, mostly when his eyes closed and his mind retreated into a deep dark sleep.

Mai's eyes had opened, bu they turned to a cloudy misty white. "Sacve eher," her eyes were still cloudy and her voice was.....not her own....Her voice was in pain. "Don't let the baby die. She will be a unique child! One like no other. she won't be human, though she may look like on the inside. She's groing too much inside me.....save her....don't worry about me. Save my daughter first!" My said in anxiety. Her eyes wern't cloudy anymore, but hereyes rolled to the top of her head as she fell back into a state of unconchisnous.

But sure enough, in her womb was a half human baby with the heart of a dragon inside her.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 07, 2009 8:40 am

Relena remained still during Mai's fit, watching her intently. She could feel Sang coming towards them in worry and fear but she was quick to throw up a barrier to keep him out of the room. She had enough to worry about already and didn't need another thing else to add to her plate for she was no doctor. If it was poison or simple illness that had greatly become worst then a simple spell could heal Mai, but things had so, SO, changed now.

Walking up to Mai and setting on the edge of the bed, Relena spread her fingers out wide across Mai's belly. Sure enough...it was there. Faint, fading..., but there never the less. Another's heart beat that had the rhythm of dragons was still inside Mai's womb. For once, in all of Relena's life, Relena wished desperately for an elf...trust worthy or not. She wasn't sure, at all, if she could save Mai...or the child for that matter. Relena closed her eyes, concentrating as she slowly pull every bit of knowledge she knew in attempts to find something, anything, to help but no spell, chant, medical, or whatever seem to work that was looked within the knowledge deep within Relena's mind.

Relena's outside was calm and cool but it began to shake slowly. She had found two of her friends again and despite her earlier meeting, she was uplifted and full of joy. She felt alive again and wanted to fight to keep going. She wasn't alone, the only one left that fought in that blasted war. Now she was trembling because she believed she would lose Mai and then Sang because of it and be alone once more. How selfish of her, to think of herself, but she was so lonely and suddenly had hope she didn't want to lose so badly. Surely the elves would have heard of a dragon half-breed, possibly, beginning born of an egg or human and would knew what to do but there was no time!? Mai would not last the time it took for them to arrive. Relena had wasted too much of Sang's time with taking her own in insuring Gwen's and Kaida's safety and being overly cautious. She truly had become cold and the monster she so looked like in the new generation eyes that looked upon her in her old partners form.

A thought then raced crossed Relena's mind.

....a...new....chant..., a...new....spell....

Dangerous and deadly even to the oldest, strongest, and wisest of users of magic. In the end it was that that destroy the King truly and not them. His own chant, newly created by only him, had back fired. Sometimes the chants wouldn't even work at all before given the chance to actually backfire, the toll killing the user.

Relena simply watched Mai for a minute. Others die to create a new spell for others to use safely. Relena knew it would kill her because it was an extreme rarity for someone to survive a new spell. The King had been overconfident in his power. Relena made up her mind. She could not bear or survive the lost of Mai and Sang, so either way, she would die. Even if Brom was out there, she was unsure and she was sure he too was at the end of his rope as well.

As if on cue, Sang pounded on the door damning to be let in. He must have felt the change in the atmosphere and Relena's mood and mental state, and that of Mai's as well. However, he was too weak to even tackle Relena's makeshift and poor barrier. Exhaustion and excretion was beating at him.

"I am sorry, Sang," muttered Relena to no one in particular, "It is one or the other and I am only a friend, not a love one, a wife,...a mother...."It was a long shot to even get the spell to work before it turn on Relena but if she could, then at least the two would be alive. Only the user got hurt.

Relena's eyes began to turn to white as her hair began to tumble and turn as if a strong breeze was playing with it. She had zoned out Sang's yelling and her own voice as she began to chant pouring in all of her magic and reserves and even more. She was sure she would need everything she could muster and offer to Mai for this work even in the slightest.

"See the pain, See the suffering. See the unseen before me through my eyes," spoke Relena as she open her eyes wide. There her white eyes sudden became midnight black eyes staring down at Mai's form, looking over her form with a life of their own...hungrily. Black web-like veins began to form over Relena's body, as they moved along her skin up to her face slowly. "Do you see, see my wish!?" The wind suddenly kicked up into a storm rattling windows and doors, forcing the house to bend and sway under the force. "I give my all, to this request, my body, my soul, my mind, and my life...everything." Items on the shelves and floor and furniture of all sizes but the bed were caught up in the wind and force to flow in a circling motion above their heads. "My request! My request is this...." The black webbing suddenly engulfed Relena's face, merging into one another as they connected when they came across her face. " S...ave...t..h...em...," spoke Relena as she faded away and began to fall backwards away from Mai like lifeless corpse.

Suddenly Relena's form jerked upright and gazed down at Mai with a monstrous smile gracing her face. She cocked her head to the side and a long tongue ran out pass her lips and dangled there for minute tasting the air. The tongue was pulled back in quickly as she raised a clawed beast like hand above her head, grinning widely. The hand was brought down swiftly and fast as the hand plunged into Mai's stomach, ripping through skin, muscle, and much more. Soon the large beast like hand began to pull out of Mai's stomach holding something within in its enclosed hand. There a newborn infant rested in the centers of the hand that was twice its size, the claws twitching above it the newborn. She looked down at the infant with a gaze that seemed to be considering whether or not to eat the small meat bag in its hand. A tongue once again darted out and licked its lips but something jolted through Relena's forms and the child was dropped two feet on to the soft mattress below with another care or thought. Cocking her head to the side once more, Relena looked down the bloody and torn mess called Mai's body. She looked something like a dissected science animal with her chest and stomach ripped open and to shreds some areas. The form was silent and she could smell death in her nostrils. Tears began to flow from Relena's face and fall into the wounds of Mai's form. With each tear Mai began to heal and become whole once more while Relena looked down at her as if she was a meat just waiting to be devour. Still she remained perfect still as the tears flowed. Now Mai's still form, covered in blood, was whole. The wind turning around them began to shift and flow into Mai's open mouth like a small clear, whitish tornado. Her chest expanded greatly nearly to the point of exploding and suddenly the wind stopped, sending things crashing to the floor. Slowly Mai's chest flatten out and air began to escape her lungs in breathes as if life has been force back into her.

There, in a bloody mess, bloody sheets clinging to her, with a crying, healthy infant beside her, rested a live, a healthy, and a waking Mai to the sounds of her calling child....

"Request is...completed," echoed from Relena forms as her arms and hand return to normal, the webbing vanished, and a lost expression adorned her face. Suddenly Relena, herself, was looked down at Mai with a sadden, a tired, and a fading, but happy expression. She looked like an old woman as she smile lightly. "It is done....," spoke Relena in a barely audible voice before she crashed to the ground loudly....her barrier vanishing.

A mere moment passed before the bedroom door was shattered open by a powerful burst of fire. though the two children were lieing in front of the fire place playing with each other the loud noise and use of magic has startled them so they froze in place for a few moments before turning on each other.
With a out of breath stride Sang walked into the room. the air was thick with the smell of blood. and his heart felt like it stopped. blocking the path way to his lungs for air as the smoke cleared. revealing the mess of blood that surrounded Mai, the new born child doing her best to cling to her mothers weak and yet steady breaths. Relenas near lifeless body laid out on her back facing away from the beds head rest. it was a text book nightmare sight. and like the foolish hero of the story sang raced first to Relenas side, taking a quick minuet to check and see if her heart was still beating, witch it was weakly but surly.

"Mai?!" He forces out as his body jumped to its feet and he lurched to her side. his hands taking a hold of her arm and shoulders as he tries to wake her up from her slumber. shaking her a few times he shouts her name out to her. his concentration only getting broken by the wails of their new baby... For the first time in his life Sang had never felt so many emotions rip across his soul. sorrow, joy, pain, agony, rapture, bliss, peace, and turmoil were just the few he could think of names for. the rest just let his body frozen, unsure of what to do before he took control and crumbled down to his knees. his eyes clasped themselves shut as tears started to trickle down his cheeks. his arms wrapped around the new babe as he held her softly against his chest, glad that she was not hungry... yet.
