She gave a defeated sigh, even if talking to him was a lot better than talking to Antony about it. Chris made sense and he was her friend, not a random stranger-kid that she had never met before. "I get it I get it," she said, shaking her head.
Then she put her hands on her hips, looking at him seriously. "Antony shouldn't have done that though! First time I ever meet the guy, and what does he do? Starts talking about it. And freaked me out."

"He's probably worried," Chris said, a bit irritable at having to stick up for the guy. "Don't worry about it. Why don't you go deliver your gift and enjoy the party? Now's not the time to be worrying about stuff like this anyway."

"Mmm, okay. Hey! Toss me up again? That was fun!" she said with a grin, determined not to let the arm band thing get her down. This was a party after all! And she was oddly having fun, regardless.
