   Poor Lanzer was just strolling along in the West Field when he was suddenly and vicously assualted by none other than Jack, the pumpkin King! Jack was hired by Johnny Gambino, of course, who was safe at home sipping a Mai Tai and eating cheese ninja

Guess #2: Rufus, toying around with the Halo, was running around Barton Town when Lanzer walked through. He hit the Halo and it rolled in front of Lanzer, tripping him and making him crack open his head behind the Art Arena.
