Archdruid Bramimond

Bramimond slowly walked over towards Soren and Blossom, his mind molding more towards Blossom. Soren's mind didn't seem to be reaching out much at the moment.

He bent over, his voice filled with concern. "Are you alright? Is your problem something that a Mend staff can fix? Or will it only take time? If you can use Fire magic, you may use this tome to warm yourself. If not, I do not mind using it to warm you." A comforting smile emerged from under Bramimond's hood, but his eyes were still unable to be seen.

Lyre nodded to Tibarn, as here hands were full. They were quickly becoming... unfull, however. She snatched up the last blanket in her hands and threw it over her own shoulders. If someone else came in freezing cold, she'd of course give it to them, but... She was cold too, and felt absolutely miserable as she let out another sneeze.

She took a look around the room, and her gaze landed on Soren. She bit her lip worriedly, but Blossom had soon taken up the task of making sure he was okay as well.

With her blanket wrapped around her she looked similar to how she ran about with a cloak in town, her ears and tail covered completely. She plopped herself down unceremoniously on the floor in front of the couch, leaning against the side of the couch to stay upright.

(( Seriously. xD ))

"Hikaru..." Nils gazed back into Fire Dragon's eyes. "Thank you... Thank you so much..."

The mage held his stare on Blossom for several moments as though mystified by her behavior. It was then he began gesturing in an attempt to talk, but words would not form. Fragments of sentences stumbled off his lips. Soren sighed and pulled the blanket to his nose, contemplating, gathering his thoughts.

He shivered once more. A mumble was issued under his breath, but it was no more coherent than his previous babble. Soren raised his eyes. He opened his mouth to communicate — which ended in a crash, a failure of speech, and the mage stuffed his face in his blanket.

"S...s...sor-r-ry," he managed in a somewhat rasping voice. Soren pulled his head from the blanket and nodded to Blossom. "My, my throat — ahem — does not seem to be — r-hm — cooperating at the moment."

His attention was quick to shift to the newcomer. A strange aura followed the figure, but it held no hostility. Soren gazed up curiously at the man's hood. "F-fine. I'm fine. Thank you."

"Ahhhh..."

Rhys let the warm breath of the Fire Dragon wash over him, pleased that someone capable of burninating FEF Castle was on their side.

"Indeed. Hikaru, I can't thank you enough right now."

Anna sat against the frame of the door, strangely quiet. For once she didn't have anything to say. This was the first time she'd been able to come talk with people and they were all busy talking to other people. That wasn't what she'd expected...

Blossom studied Soren intently, keeping her eyes on him. He was struggling to articulate anything, she could definitely tell. When he managed to get something out, she nodded. "That's all right. I understand." She smiled a little, not saying anything more.

[[Bed! Bye for tonight. xD]]

"Of, course..." The Fire Dragon began blushing, an incredibly rare event in the presence of Kaoru. Not wanting Nils to notice it too much, he quickly attempted to verify Rhys' condition. "By the way, Milord, how is your recovery?"

Soren nodded, his behavior punctuated by an awkward silence. He held the blanket to himself and somewhat swayed where he was with a shudder every now and then. Sensing a lonely spirit, Soren cast his eyes out to the door and took notice of the bright-haired girl against the doorframe. He felt that it was partially his fault.

Loneliness was something Soren learned to abhor. Sensing it in others did him no ease.

"...M-Miss... By the...the door," Soren called, raising his hand slightly to Anna. "Is..."

Then he quickly tightened into a ball with a cry of pain, one cold hand clutching through his hair. Soren sucked in a few breaths, attempting to relax. Then something passed over his face. His entire body slacked, his focus blurred, and he slumped against the wall. His panicked breathing quelled into an easy pace, a murmur falling off his tongue as his eyes closed.

Suddenly, he was asleep, tranquil, and a little warmer.

Nils did notice the blush, if only slightly, and smiled lightly. He decided to ask about it at some later time that wasn't now. Instead, he turned to Rhys, wondering about his condition as well.
Getting tossed around by Mogalls didn't look like the greatest thing ever.

As the sage choked out his words, Bramimond gave a kind nod. "I understand, my friend. If you need any help, do not hesitate to ask me."

Just as he began to walk away, he noticed Soren have some sort of fit, and he quickly turned back to face him. As Soren passed out, Bramimond bent down, and began trying to see if he was alright, and if his Mend staff was indeed needed.

"Mmmfmmm... wha? Huh? Mmm, yeah I'm... fine..."

Rhys' heavy green robes had started to dry out. His boots were placed neatly by the fireplace, and he himself was lying down along the floor, getting very sleepy after today's events.

Being a football was hard work.

Anna blinked when Soren called to her. What? Did he- But then she cried out when he curled up, a worried look coming onto her face. Was that because of her? He was out in the blizzard, he should be resting and not yelling... So she decided to scoot back over next to him, to look and make sure nothing happened. One hand reached out inquisitively to touch his forehead, and she shivered slightly. He was really cold...

She looked up at Bramimond and frowned. "Uhmmm... I think he's... asleep now," she told the man, a bit uncertainly. "Maybe he just needs rest?"

Nometal walked in, and out of the cold.
"Oy vey it is cold out there. How can anyone stand it?"

To say that maternal instincts had kicked in was a sore understatement. Already, Ayra had made herself busy, boiling two kettles of water over a small hearth in the corner and already readying whatever tea or herbal supplies they had in the house. There was a sizable amount there for the guild, but there still remained the question of how long, if rationed, all of them would last.

Rationing it to the point where only the sick would receive tea that was more than mildly flavored (enough to last them all a good week and a half, given the current situation), Ayra swooped up mugs and started handing them around to anyone bundled in blankets- and even some that weren't. Though the cold or wet individuals got theirs first, of course, followed by the special tea for Lyre, who clearly wasn't feeling well to have been in the sick wing.

Oh, yes, a very special brew of especially bitter tea. One of those concoctions, with both stems and leaves, that almost coated the throat with sap. While therapeutic, it would taste positively vile and wouldn't clear from her taste buds for days, if she had made it just right. So she was Tibarn's 'beorc pet', was she? Ayra resisted the urge to laugh. She'd show the cat woman that this so-called pet had more than enough tricks up her proverbial sleeves.

"Ah, I remember you. The cat from the other time, when we were speaking like such... civil people. Here you go, dear. You should feel better in no time." Unable to resist this particular urge, however, she moved over to Tibarn, sashaying her hips before reaching up her fingers and lightly moving them down his jawline, smiling as she planted a light kiss on his lips.

"Of course, there are other, far more effective ways at staying warm than tea. Isn't that right, dear?"
