A flutter was heard in the wind, and a small thud. Razil landed on the packed earth, hitting with his left knee to soften the impact. He stood up, and looked down at the Shinigami he had touched down next to, not recognizing him. I really need to start getting out of 1st and visit other Squads he thought ruefully. The gas-mask around his face and black scarf that was wrapped carefully around his shoulder, not to mention the thousands of scars spider-webbing their way across his otherwise bare torso, gave him a rather dangerous look. He realized this and, not wanting to intimidate the newer Shinigami, let his eyes shine merrily, then walked over to Mocka, the black bandanna that sealed his forehead snapping in the slight breeze.
When he reached his former Lieutenant, he made a quick bow, then spoke his intentions. "Mocka-Taicho, it is good to see you getting so involved with your Squad so quickly." He smiled beneath his mask at his old friend, his hands idly tracing the rough patterns on his forearm. "I wasn't able to catch you at your office, but I had an offer to give you...suppose I helped with the training? I need to get some experience with it under my belt, and we can get this done twice as fast. What do you say?" In all honesty Razil expected to be turned down. It didn't matter either way, he had nothing to do, and so would sit back and watch if nothing else.

So good of you to come to my Office to lend assistance, even though we're not on the same Squad anymore. Also, for you to find your way to this secluded place, just by following our reiatsus - I presume - is proof of your improvements as a Shinigami. The Captain bluntly said, disregarding any greetings.
Mock stood up and looked directly at Razil as he addressed him. I was going to have this two fight each other... he said, while pointing at both Xavier and Kintaro. But I won't mind measuring you up! You two, start sparring! Go all out against each other! I'll be watching... He ordered his subordinates. Then, pointing with his index finger to the top of the waterfall, he said to Razil. We'll fight over there... Sooner or later our fight will "drag" these two along... This may well turn into a "Battle Royal"!
Turning to Xavier and Kintaro, yet again, Mock finished... I suggest you achieve shikai before that, or you won't last long. You'll end up as collaterals from our spar! before "shumpoing" to the top of the waterfall and saying How much longer will you still take to come up here, Razil-kun?
((OOC: Xavier and Kintaro will spar and I'll be judging your RPing skills and giving away freebie advices xd I'll be the judge of when you can achieve your shikai, don't start posting that you got it, before I say so, OK? Myself and Razil will fight each other.))

A laugh escaped his covered lips, and Razil began vaulting up trees and rocks, ascending the hill much faster than a normal person could...though not as fast as Shunpo would take him. Reaching the top, he landed with a thump. A thin sheen of sweat had broken out, and his skin reflected the sun and made it glisten. He stood up and winked. "So, what shall we do?"

As usual, MockaDash was wearing his (new) kasa hat as well as his flower haori, only now, it was on top of a Captain's haori. Bearing red sunglasses over his eyes (and the black patch on top of his right one) as well as strange red "markings" on his face, Mock's countenance was almost unrecognizable. Hidden behind the large hat, the shades, and the blue scarf wrapped around his neck and lower third of his head, there wasn't really much of his face to look at.
Since I know from our past encounter, that like myself, you want the opponent to take the first move, I'll just go ahead and start this. the Shinigami began saying, using this sentence as a cue for Razil to prepare himself for his imminent attack. He wasn't going to utter another single word.
Mock's expertise with the nihonto being his drawing speed, he preferred to wait for his opponent to make a move, and strike him down without time for him to be able to react. But it wasn't as if that - who makes the first move - was essential for his technique. Adopting his usual battoujutsu stance, that Razil have seen times before, (strangely) this time Mock held the katana in his hands - instead of releasing his nodachi.
As he lowered his body, by bending his knees, Mock's hat covered most of his face as he lowered it, also the hat's top became visible to Razil as well as the Kanjis written on it - "Divine Punishment".
Rather than charging, MockaDash flash-stepped to Razil's back, already unsheathing his sword and brandishing it at him. It was a classical move for most Shinigamis to perform, so it was kind of obvious that, upon using shumpo, Mock would appear behind Razil. That was exactly why he did it!
Mock's feet hadn't even touched the ground, neither his blade had connected with its intended target, when he shumpoed once more, leaving behind a ghost image of himself still swinging the sword at Razil's torso. Before the image could fade, MockaDash was already at Razil's left flank (in case the 3rd seat hadn't drawn his blade yet, he would have a hard time reaching it behind his back with the left hand) stretching his left arm at Razil. Hadou #33 -- Sokatsui! he roared, releasing the blue blast at Razil's face, point-blank. In the meantime, his katana was still horizontally "slashing" at the space between his fourth and fifth left rib. Mock was not the best kidou user, but he was adept at effortlessly channeling and discharging vast amounts of reiatsu, towards someone or something. He was aiming for a surprise attack, so he didn't even chanted the spell, making it lose power potential. Nevertheless, it was still more than enough to give the "boy" a few serious burns, in the event of he being unable to somehow dodge or counter it!

Thinking on his feet, Razil quickly crossed his hands and their metal-plated gloves in front of his face, letting the kidou smash into him. Although it was weakened due to there not being a chant, there was still enough force to throw him backwards. Razil used this to his advantage, leaning back and letting the blow launch him, pushing him into a backwards somersault over the slashing blade at his back. He flipped over and landed in the dirt, dust puffing up around his feet. He still held his gloved hands in front of his face, the metal now tarnished from the burns. That really damaged the leather, and I'm pretty sure I feel some burns that got through to my arms...I will get it looked at later.
He fluidly brought his arms away from each other at a fast rate, sending several curved Ghost-Blades at Mocka. At the same time Razil ran forward after them, drawing his katana from his back as he went. He turned to the side and slammed his left palm downwards, leaping over Mocka and performing a complicated series of twists and slashes around the face and shoulders of his opponents, all the while moving past him as his body carried him to earth.

(( Just to be sure... You did strike me with your katana from above, several times and while spinning, didn't you? ))
Mock stood still as he witness the several "energy" blades coming at him. They were comprised of Razil's reiatsu so they could - in theory - be nullified by an equal or superior opposite reiatsu, providing you had the capability of perfectly adjust your reiatsu to that of Razil's "Ghost-Blades". Mock had that capability. He had seen the move several times, though not as flawless or fluid as now, but bottom line, he had experienced their spirit energy from a close perspective - he had been struck by those blades before.
Aiming his open left palm at the blades, MockaDash shove them away, as they were deflected back by a strong pulse of energy. Hadou #1 -- Shou. he heedlessly said, as he casted the low-level Kidou that "rejected" the blades, waving his hand as if in dismissal.
While Razil was in the air above his head, Mock raised his off-hand to meet his opponent current position - and follow his movement - while casting a protective shield to block the slashes that were coming at him. Bakudo #39 -- Enkosen. he muttered, giving form to a large and glistening amber-like circular shield on his hand.
Turning on his right foot, Mock swung the katana at Razil's neck, aiming to behead him. While doing so, his left arm followed the movement of his body and, immediately after the release of the shield, a surge of energy was felt coming from it. Hadou #31 -- Shakkahou! Mock yelled, casting yet another Kidou without its incantation, at Razil's chest. Again, it would be much weaker, but at close range, the discharge of energy should at least fulfill its main purpose. Mocka casted it with the intent to force Razil to lose some focus in trying to avoid it. Razil, supposedly after having to deal with Mock's decapitation intent, would have his freedom of movement impaired immediately after, making it hard to effectively dodge the second strike (the Shakkahou) and still manage to perform a vigorous counterattack - at least that was what Mock hoped for.

Kintaro had been following Mock since his office to the secluded gardens. The secluded gardens where a sight to see, wondrous light illuminating all that stood under the openings between the tree leafs, branches and logs... Butterflies wandering through the air and birds singing in a chaotic order turned that place, along with the waterfall, a magical place with an inherent calm that any person would embrace... Or so Kintaro thought...
He sat alongside his friend and captain, as they both waited on Xavier. Leaning on the grass, trying to soak in the tranquillity around them... Untill Razil came and after those short speeches between him and Mock, Kintaro was stunned at how Mockadash would simply say for Xavier and himself to battle in all-out mode, risking their lives to achieve a shikai... There should be another way.
As Mockadash started raging a tempest in paradise against Razil, Kintaro replied: "Mockadash... There should be another way... I trust You and that's all I need to know that You must have a plan... And I would really hate to go against one of my first captains orders here in Divine Protectors squads..." He sat and crossed his arms, lowering his head not showing his face "...Though You're my comrade, Xavier... I must try my best to achieve a power that can protect all of us... And for that, I might hurt You..."
The crossed arms and the lowered face were both positioned to lessen the pressure between them and make Xavier lower his defence, by looking at a passive opponent. Then that position became an offensive one... Kintaro whispered a chanting and lifted the index finger of the arm pointing at the dirt a few inches away from Xavier. "Hadou #4 - Byakurai" A lightning bolt was released from the finger pointing at the floor and, after the following flash of light and the electric humming, made a smoking hole on it.
(Your move razz Sorry for my late reply, but I had an exam today... Now I'm free so... no worries, I'll reply much faster)

Xavier frowned slightly as he heard the order that came from his captain, he didn’t like it but he had been told to do worse before. He sighed and began to stand up when a bolt of lightning shot by and hit the ground next to him. He stared for a moment before getting up to his feet completely. He drew his sword and held it loosely in his right hand as he looked a Kintaro
“That was an absolutely wonderful kido,” his voice was sincere in his praise, “but why did you feel the need to shoot the grass? It never hurt you.” This time his voice dripped with that sickly sweet thing we call sarcasm.
He suddenly threw the sheath to the sword he had been holding in his left hand hoping that it would unbalance his opponent enough for him to get in and land a strike. After he let the sheath fly he quickly followed up with a downward diagonally strike across Kintaro’s chest and aimed a punch at his face a second later.
((I’m about three hours behind you all so it’ll take me awhile before I can get on and post. This might go a little slowly sorry for that.))

(Thats fine. biggrin I'm actually doing also a bit of papers for my classes so I might be slower than You. No problem... Any question You have about our RP or so just send me a pm and Ill get back at you.)
Kintaro wasn't amazed to see his fellow squad member care-free after the byakurai, but He felt a bit surprised by Xaviers fast and energetic comeback.
Kintaro quickly laid down on the grass again from his seated position, dodging the sheath without much problem. And, using the memento of his own drop, He sprang his body upwards with his legs and stood up, with the small jump, on the same place where He once was lying.
Xaviers position as He approached was easily read by Kintaro, who was, now, more experienced in duels with sword. Xaviers was holding his zanpakutou on the upper side of his body, so he would either do a diagonal thrust down or a straight down strike. Kintaros positioning was almost mechanical as he adopted a half-crouched state with his legs flexed and grasping the hilt of his own zanpakutou. As He unsheathed his katana, the friction caused by the sheath would imply the use of more strength by Kintaro, but the attack would be far more powerful, fast, and sure of deflecting his opponents downward strike. The sword was unsheathed with tremendous speed and strength in the direction of Xaviers blade. Sparks fled from the crossing point of the two swords and the added strength of Kintaros attack stopped both the sword and the opponent.
As Xavier drew his free arm to punch Kintaro in the face, Kintaro raised the two crossed zanpakutous with his body(Kintaros zanpakutou was under Xaviers so...), while Xavier focused in the punch and not in his sword, putting the blades in front of his fist, and away from Kintaros face by leaning his head back.
Then jumping back a few feet He said: "You are funny! That thing about the grass was hilarious... but its hard to laugh while focusing on your attacks..." He then smiled, putting his katana above his head with his two hands, aiming at Xavier. "Thanks for the compliment! But I know You are also holding back a bit, although You fought that way! Xavier, We must achieve shikai, or this is just a waste of time..."
Kintaro started surveying Xaviers surroundings, and near of the grass where Kintaro was before, He noticed a small pond right beneath of Xaviers right leg. "So... You like Kidous?" he asked. He started walking at Xavier, lowering his katana to his chest and freeing one hand from the hilt. As he covered half of the distance between them, he pointed his free hand at the pond. "Hadou #4 - Byakurai" The electric reiatsu came from Kintaros finger directly to the pond, electrifying the water where Xavier had his foot.
(Okay... just putted byakurai again because I remembered this, I won't use it again so soon... It's boring even for me! rolleyes Hope You don't mind just this time...)

Xavier fell to his knees as he felt the electric shock throughout his body. Using the momentum from his fall he rolled out of the pond and leapt at Kintaro his sword swinging again in a one right handed strike at Kintaro’s face. Hoping that the strike would distract Kintaro for a moment he lashed out with the straight boxing punch that was taught to him by his father and followed that with a twisting elbow strike to the chest with his left arm.

((Just to let everyone know, that this PRP is to be continued, and will be treated as if it was happening prior to the Arrancar attack on Seretei - No matter how long this will take.
Also, some recommendations for Kintaro and Xavier. There are small mistakes on your posts, but some caught my attention more than others...
@ Kintaro: you misused memento instead of momentum - the first means keepsake, while the second is indeed an impetus - and you're repeatedly forgetting to put the apostrophe on possessive pronouns such as Kintaro's instead of Kintaros.
@ Xavier: you really should make your "battle posts" more illustrative. Write down more descriptions and detail your actions as well as what your RPC is thinking - I don't mean what he's thinking of doing, but instead what he's thinking at the moment.
To both of you, read what you've just wrote twice before submitting your post. Keep the good work!))

Wow! This place is beautiful. This must be where all those churches meant when they were talking about "Heaven."
I had just received a Hell butterfly from mon capitaine Mockadash, instructing me to report to his secluded waterfall garden for some special training. As I walk down the tree-enclosed pathway to the field before the waterfall, I had to admire mon capitaine for his marvelous sense of landscaping. The sunlight ribbons coming down from between the tree branches, combined with the welcoming yet somehow mysterious pathway gave me the sense of what it would be like to walk down the aisle at a wedding. I only hope I can stay here with le capitaine long enough to write a beautiful song about this place. I stared into the distance and saw the crashing waters of the waterfall about fifty yards ahead of me, and I started to jog at the speed of an average human sprint. I made it to the clearing when... *CRASH!* The belowing currents were silenced by the clanging of steel and the roars of thundering spells above me. Almost 10 yards to my right, I could see two of my fellow shinigami exchanging blows between their swords while standing on air. My eyes were almost magnetically drawn to them until two more figures, I noticed, were broadcasting their disciplined skills as well, on a raised rock surface just right of the waterfalls. Even this far away, and without even seeing his face, I could tell one of these fighters was mon capitaine, MockaDash. The other three, I figured, must be the other shinigami he'd called for special training. Well, I suppose it would be harder to test my abilities on just le capitaine and lose every single time than have a variety of rivals to fight.
I raced over to the edge of the waterfall to get within hearing distance of Capitaine MockaDash and gleefully yelled,
blaugh "Capitaine MockaDash! I am 'ere for ze training you described to me." blaugh
But it was a futile cry. Mon capitaine was too focused on the fight he was presently in at the moment to shift his focus and leave himself open, so I decided to make a comfortable seat and play "Houki Boshi" on the violin I always carry on my back, and enjoy the two displays of skill before me.

(( OK. So both Razil and Kintaro won't be posting anymore here. I'll RP their exits. As for Xavier and Yorich - shoopdepoop - will be sparring instead. There's no limit to the posts you'll both make. This is not a competition, but merely a way to train and develop your RPing skills. In the end, I'll grant you both your shikai. I'll end the RP when I deem fit.
Also, Yorich, I like your descriptions. You seem a good writer. But it's unorthodox to RP in the first person. It's fitted for a journal for example, or if sometimes used to give your RPC's own point of view. But refrain from using it very often, or it will lead to problems. For example, some times you'll have to describe things that your RPC has no knowledge of - but you, the player, have - so it's best if you write in the 3rd person instead. Like I said, I liked it though. It had a good feeling to it.))
A HellButterfly interrupted the spar between Razil and Mock. The Captain's blade stopped a few inches from Razil's neck, his hadou as well, dissipated on his hand before being released. Razil listened to the message silently, before explaining that he had been summoned by his Captain and that unfortunately the match had to be postponed.
MockaDash bid farewell to his old squad mate and turned his attention to Yorich, who had recently arrived.
Follow me. He ordered. Jumping from the top of the waterfall, Mock landed between Xavier and Kintaro, interrupting their match as well.
Kintaro bowed and apologized, while saying that he could not continue the match any more. He was required somewhere else, and could not finish this training. Mock merely sighed, before explaining to him, that he would have to meet him in his Office later on, to properly explain to him what's going on with his mind... Kintaro was Mock's childhood friend, but this was not an attitude befitting a Gotei 13 Shinigami. He would need to explain himself to Mock if he was to remain a part of this Squad, since he wasn't an active soldier - actually he never quite been one, having consequently and periodically disapear and reappear without suficient notice. That was misconduct, and had to be taken care of...
Xavier, your new opponent will be Yorich. the Captain said, then addressing the newcomer he continued I suggest you drop that violin... Playtime is over!
((Houki Boshi is an awesome song btw!!! xp ))

blaugh Hooray! blaugh The huge smile on Yorich's face showed his lack of any real serious training or experience, but he didn't try to hide it. He set his violin and its holster under the nearest sakura tree and stepped toward the near-middle of the clearing. Looking up at his opponent (who was still standing twelve feet high in the air), Xavier, Yorich's unfortunate other weakness got the better of him; he hated it when people he didn't know tried to one-up him at the very start. It didn't mean he didn't like the one doing it or disrespect them any, he just wasn't used to being the underdog in first impressions. With a sharp downward push from his legs, Yorich lept to meet his adversary at eye level, and greeted him with a friendly lift-of-the-palm. mrgreen 'Ow now, Xavier? Are you ready to begin our bataille? mrgreen Yorich figured to make this greeting about five feet away from his new acquaintance was safe enough, in case he returned the wave with a lack-of-violin-playing-hand to get a head start. Even so, Xavier didn't seem like the kind of guy to take hostility and put it next to pride in his priority list.
