Pika blushed more. "Um....what do you suggest we talk about?" She looked up at him and smiled.

"It's not my fault man!!!! What do expect me to say?!" Ruari yelled over the music of the party.

Pika nodded and thought about it a little bit. "Well....I do like to read and draw and....well mostly artistic stuff....and cook too."

Ruari didn't want to sit there by himself...alone with the kid so he got up and starteds dancing as well.

Ember saw Toots approaching and made sure the seat next to her wouldn't be taken until she got there. That way they could talk. "Hi! My name's Ember, I saw you earlier, who are you?" She asked, introducing herself. At least someone was willing to talk to her!

Danny explained his hobbies to Pika. "I think reading's nice too, I overheard Max say he really liked your cookie so I'll bet your a great cook! I'm not so good at drawing. I like spooky stuff, ghosts and haunted houses and mysterious things like that. Someones I'll find a store that claims to sell magical items and try them out to see if they really work. Each year I volunteer at a haunted house and get dressed up so I can scare the Furbys who go through it. I wear green glowing contacts and bleach my hair whiter than it is now. It's really fun! Sometimes I think I even see ghosts.

( Had to make him a little like the original Danny Phantom! )

My hobbies are collecting really interesting things. Photos, crystals, gizmos and gadgets. Sculptures, art, all kinds of things. Then I try to make something out of them all. For example, one time I gathered all these pictures of my family and made a collage out of them. A collage is a bunch of pictures put close together side by side and displayed all together. I like fishing...racing, music." He told her.

Max decided that now that people were here that the speech should start soon. He looked over at Danny and Pika, they seemed to be talking now instead of standing there blushing at each other. Soon Furbys would be told to take their seats then after the speech they could eat. He was hungry, didn't feel like dancing anymore. Not until after he ate. He stayed in his seat, waiting. He noticed another Lady Furby ( Yin ) sitting by herself. He studied her face, wondering why she was alone. She didn't seem sad but...still.

"Wondering why she's alone." Max blinked, looking up at Ruari. "Seen plenty of shy people in my time but girls are usually the more talkative ones. Not normal seeing them move off by themselves." He commented. "Who is she?" He asked. "Oh, and best take a seat, I think it's time for that speech." He added.

Danny smiled and motioned towards a chair with his foot. "It's time for me to get up there and say my speech. We eat afterward. I'll be back." He walked up onto the stage and gulped nervously before speaking into the microphone. "Would everyone please take a seat now."

Toots smiled at the young colorful Furby. "My name is Tootie, but everyone calls me Toots. Wow, I love your coloring. You're almost as brightly colored as I am!" She gave a huge smile and sat down in the seat next to her. She got along great with children and this young Furby seemed to have a very friendly demeanor.

Chaise had seen Pika talking to the Furby who has just asked everyone to take their seats, so she wandered over to Pika's table and sat down next to her. "Hi Pika. Who was that?" She gestured towards the stage. "And why are you blushing?" she said with a giggle.

Yin was still sitting alone as everyone took their seats in the crowded room. She saw a spotted Furby looking her way from across the room. She gave a slight smile and turned her attention to the Furby on stage. 'I wonder what he's doing?' she thought.

Toots noticed that Ember became very excited as the letter from Santa was read. "You must be anxious for Santa, huh?" she smiled at her, as she clapped as well. "This does look to be a fun night."

Just then a waiter came by and filled Toots and Ember's plates. Toots sniffed her plate. "It smells delicious." she said, as she took a bite.

Chaise gave a short laugh at the end of Danny's speech, mostly because of Santa part, but she didn't say anything else. She waited patiently for her food to arrive and immediately dug in once it was on her plate.

Yin had enjoyed Danny's speech and clapped at the end. She looked around at everyone there. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. She was a slight bit sad that her brother had yet to make it to the party. Yin was one of the first served, but she waited til everyone else in the room had been served before she started to eat.

Ember nodded blissfully. "Yeah! I've been real good this year so I'm hoping Santa will reward me with lots of presents." She answered before starting to eat. She loved those cooks, they had really outdone themselves. She tried to pace herself since she knew desert would be next.

Danny blushed and got off the stage, sitting beside Pika. "Thanks, you helped a lot." He commented, grateful. Once served his dinner he began his meal as well. He tried to seem polite even while eating by showing his table manners. He didn't want to look like a slob or a pig to Pika.

Max was the most excited out of the three, he didn't answer Ruari. His tummy was empty and growling by the time his food was set in front of him. He dug in almost immediately. His purple eyes widened, he swallowed a bite. "This. Is. Goooood!" He smiled and started eating again.

Toots daintilly ate the rest of her food and waited for dessert to come, while making small talk with Ember. "So, are you parents here? Did you help set up the decorations? or with the food? What do you want for Christmas?"

Chaise finished her food rather quickly and wanted to start dancing. She pushed her plate back from her with her beak and scooted backward in her chair. She hopped down and went to the dance floor where a few other Furbys were standing around, swaying back and forth to a slow song. She made a face and went over to the DJ's booth. She asked the Furby working the turntables if he could play something a little faster and with a beat. The Furby gave a big smile and gave a nod. Chaise smiled back and winked. She went to the dance floor again and waited for the new song to start.

Yin finished her food. Again, she sat there alone and watched everyone around her. She saw a few Furbys staring back at her, probably wondering why she was sitting all alone. She didn't mind. She was used to being alone at social gatherings, because she was so shy it was hard for her to make new friends. At least when her twin was around, she had someone to talk to. She wondered where he was, but soon found something more interesting to think about, for Chaise had just started dancing.
