Kaiser nodded quickly "Yeah, I'm fine. Honest, just realized the doggie was lookin' at me wrong so it got my hackles up." he lied quickly and coolly. Kaiser shook his head to clear his thoughts. "I think I need to go to bed or something, the cold messed with my head. Thank you again, Your Highness. When I get some rest, I think I'll come up with a better plan."

She nodded, "I'll bring you up to a room after i clean up a bit." she grabbed the tray and brought it to the kitchen. she returned and stood along side him, "Will you be alright to walk on your own? are you dizzy?"

"Yes, I am." Kaiser said, slipping that little lie into place. Better she think that he -really- wasn't a threat. Of course, looking like he was ready to commit an atrocity didn't help anything at all.
Straining to resist that voice's suggestions, he waited quietly for Oriana to do what needed to be done.

( wink well, in that case....)
Oriana turned to the staircase and ascended the stairs, pausing at the top to make sure he made it up. she guided him down the hall and past the first two doors of rooms. turning back to him she said, "Everything from this point down is unoccupied. it might be a bit cold though, but I'll bring in some firewood for the fireplace." she turned away from him and took a few steps only to turn back and add, "The rooms on the left are the only ones with fireplaces in them..." then continued down the stairs to retrieve some firewood.

Kaiser nodded and stepped into a room, shivering lightly at the temperature difference. Hearing her footsteps echo away, he inadvertantly shifted form, to that grey/black Tiger.
Dammit, why must I go through this hell? he demanded silently, changing back to Kaiser. He clenched his hand, the Soul Destroyer wave forming in it.
Quickly suppressing it, he whirled on sensing another presence, the Soul Breaker instantly ready to be unleashed.
That seductive voice chuckled in his ear, intimiately. "There's nothing there, Kaiser. Relax~" He felt something brush his shoulder and it was gone.

Oriana went downstairs and turned to the left to walk down that lead to the kitchen, but instead of turning into the kitchen she continued down the hall to a large wooden door. she opened it up and found her two jeweled elk, and her polar bear. She opened the door to her bear's stall and smiled, "Come here you, i need your help." The bear looked over at her and groaned as it got onto it's four paws and followed Oriana outside. She pointed at the wooden logs, and the bear stood up on his hind legs and scooped up a bundle of wood, followed Oriana back into the house through the same door. After both her and her bear made it up the stairs, she knocked the door, "I brought you some wood for the fireplace..." she mumbled as she waited outside the door for him to answer.

Kaiser calmed himself, sensing the Bear and opened the door with a smile. "Thank you, Oriana." he said while hastily unloading the wood from the Bear and depositing it next to the fire place.
"Oriana, I have a question for you. Is anyone else here besides you and I plus animals?" The Assassin asked while dusting off his hands.

Oriana gave him a suspicious look, " Why do you ask? You're planning my assassination already?" she turned away from him laughing, "If that's the case i wish you luck," she looked back at him and walked over to her polar bear, "This is Vadim, and if you have any intent on killing me, he will be your biggest problem." The bear roared and Oriana stroked his paw, "Shhh... i know your upset... Let's leave Kaiser to his room now," she cooed, coaxing the bear out of his room and back down the hall.

To be fair, that Bear would be dead before the poor brute knew what hit him if I wanted to, my fair Oriana. he said to himself. That crossed off unseen servants in this place.
Could someone be playing a practical joke on him at the Moonlight Manor? Probably. More then a few Assassins were warped after the Mushroooms and Cows Incident.
Kaiser shuddered. He thought it was more of the second option. If there was a ghost or a demon here, he was sure that Oriana would've taken care of it by now. Sighing and rubbing his temples. He had to figure out what was going on.
Flopping down on the matress, he was reminded of the story of the Princess and the Pea.

The next morning Oriana woke up early enough to beat her guest downstairs and make breakfast for him; Ham, Eggs, Toast, and a glass of coffee. After the meal was finished she sat at the table reading her book about the healing arts waiting for his arrival.

Kaiser cleaned himself up, and dressed himself more appropriately for the weather. That was to say, two layers of clothing under the armor, followed by the armor itself and then that armor's clothing.
Tugging everything in place, he headed down the stairs to breakfast, and started into it quietly.
"Oriana, I have a question. If I may, are there any ghosts or demons around this area? I kept hearing a voice last night so I was wondering what it was."
Truth be told, Kaiser had never been in a blizzard or snow before, so it was something entirely new to him.

She looked up from her book, one eyebrow raised, "No, there is no such thing... as for demons... We're all demons." she flipped the page and sipped her iced tea. she looked back up from her book and mumbles, "Why do you ask?"

Kaiser smirked "I meant mythological demons. The kind that take over a normal person's mind. That sort." Kaiser started on some ham. "I thought I was attacked by one last night, hence my wierdness last night. That or the cold had gotten to me and I had a bit of dementia."
He drank his coffee quietly before looking up "That would be why."

Oriana set her book down and sighed, "I could ask my father about it, but I'm pretty sure our palace isn't haunted by any ghosts or demons. Maybe you just got too cold."
She saw something move by the door and tilted her head. The dog shuffled into the room and laid at her feet. "Lazy mutt..." she grumbled as she bent down to pet him.

"I wouldn't be surprised about the cold personally, Oriana." Kaiser said as he ate his breakfast quietly. "First time I've ever seen the stuff. Mostly wet and chilly during the winter. Not like this."
He finished off his coffee. "I hate snow." he muttered as he started to clean up his own dishes.
