I think D does bathe, just not very often. It would be hell trying to comb out all his hair everyday.
Beside we all know the way Hideyuki describes D to the point where D could dig his way out of a mud hole in the middle of a swamp during a category 5 hurricane and still be other-worldly beautiful.

D comes out of the hospital after having his face half burned off, being mangled by a werewolf, and has somehow contracted leprosy, as well as having been dragged through mud and cow poop on his way here. But somehow he still looks beautiful. Dirty things are too afraid of D to stick to him lol

Maybe standards of hygiene is different in the 12,090's? Although we saw Doris showering in the first movie, we never get to see D bathe. confused

But if you really want to get down to it, in most novel they never tell you when a character goes to the bathroom do they? So we should just safely assume he does......

Would we look like we went insane if D exposed his perfect nakedness? Maybe I should find away to send Hideyuki Kikuchi a letter expressing my need to know what D's nakedness and bedside manner are like? whee heart Those are legitimate questions... 3nodding Lol, I'm pretty sure he's gotten a few of those letters as well. But please, do write him. I would love to hear what he would say to such a question about a beloved and boldly sexy character.
