honestly, if it just sort of stings you for no reason, it's probably a wasp, not a bee, bees aren't very aggressive, and won't sting you if you don't pose a clear threat to them.

lol at the dining hall they have boiled eggs on the salad bar, and every now and then you'll see someone with a whole bunch of them
and I always am tempted to sing:
When I was a lad I ate 4 dozen eggs
every morning to help me get large
and now that I am I eat 5 dozen eggs
and I'm roughly the size of a baaaaaaaaaarge
