Fyrad eyes narrowed, doging the guard, "How could you- He hissed quite angrily anger pulsed through him as magic began to burn in his chest his tail raised as his fur went on end. "Ever sense I have gone with you I have felt it, a dark presence near by." He whispered his voice angrey.He with drew his rusted sword. "What are you really after. I will not fall for any tricks." His voice was cold and hard. He didn't look at the guard.

Fyrad scowled, her...She didn't feel evil her aura was different had he made a mistake? He watched her leave not really knowing what to say he turned and continued walking on his own untill he was some way away his tail brushed against the trees. He hesitated feeling guilty as he shifted his paws.

"So your the one the dragon queen spoke to brat." A shades voice snarled as he landed in front of Fyrad. His skin was a dark black color, endlessly glowing his hands were black showing no nails his eyes gleamed a dark crimsome, and were solous as he stood over fyrad a heavy blade in his hand, an orb in the other.

"So your the one that I felt- What how! How could a meer brat like yourself feel my presence?" demanded the shade angrily through narrowed eyes just as Artyle came back.

"Ahh princess how are you doing being a vampire and out cast huh? Little hatchling." His voice was filled with mockery as he swung his blade to his side. " Tell me what I want boy and Ill let you live give me the location not that you'll have a choice." He raised his hand as he perpared to enter Fyrads mine.

Fyrad felt a wave of pain as if the shade was squeasing his head. He gritted his teeth tears of pain burning in his eyes. Violet eyes opened as the dragon queen stared back though fyrads eyes. The shade hissed and leaped back from Fyrad. "I wil lget what I want'" With that he lunged foreword swinging his blade. **The only way to kill him is to stab him in the chest have you read eragon?**

The shade just stood there when she tackled him he looked down at her with the most amused exspression written on his face. "Is that the best you can do. " He demanded deflecting the knvies lazily with magic. "You must do better then that, " He sneered raising his hand to blast some magic striaght in her face. (It will burn her if it touches her AVOID))

Fyrad snarled angrily leaping up and biting onto the shades hand. The shade burst out laughing.

The shades eyes widen at the sight of the mage killer arrow. "s**t thats not fair." He actually winned, his smile vanishing his red eyes widened. "Oh no." He was mocking her. And then he vanished with a flash of black and shadow. "I will reach her before you."

Fyrad fell to the ground gripping his head as waves of pain shimered though him. he had tried to block out the shade...

Fyrad felt her grab him and he wretched trying to throw himself a way from her he struggled kicked and cried out in pain. Fyrads hole frame trembled, he slowly raised his head to look at her, his eyes trying to fight against the shade. "A...atryle..."He whispered his voice weak.

"Hes...trying to- Fyrads eyes rolled into the back of his head as he let out a cry of pain he could feel the shades tenticles digging through his mind breaking through his barriers...And then he felt it a white light burning in his mind shot out against the darkness. He could feel the shade shrieking as he retreated running before the light. Fyrad went limp IN Artyles arms his skin pale and clamly. "Run Atryle hes sending men after all hundreds of men," His voice was weak and calmly.

Fyrad did not move an inch as he was placed into the grove between her wings he seemed to fit perfectly. He didn't move an inch not hanging on his mind had won the battle and yet he was bruised and battered in more ways then one. He felt the wind against his skin it felt good and he slowly regain consiousness. His eyes were glazed over and he blinked a few times as if confused.
