"I am afraid that I am going to have to part this meeting, and take my daughter, ser. I need her help in dealing with the Kore. Is there some other way I can help you?" He turned to Ora, throwing her a quizzacal look about the illusion.

Ora gave him a look back, as if to say my emotions are my own, let it be. "I'd warned Clar ahead of time that I may be leaving shortly."

"Are you well, cousin? We were parted so suddenly..."

Ora nodded, "I am well, Laurel, thank you. I trust they treated you well enough?"

Xeen stiffened with the look Ora sent him, but otherwise remained passive.
"Sir, may I get your name, and speak with you privately, please?"

((Eh. You never know when it's handy to have a horrible, contagious-looking disease that isn't. wink ))

Ora's "owner" remained lying on the bench. "Come closer. As private as it gets." It was only a small shuttle, after all.

((I assume you've all seen either Star Trek or Firefly or both? Slightly larger than a normal Star Trek shuttle, about the size of Inara's ship minus the semi-separated cockpit.))

((Ah, alright, then.))
Xeen leaned close, his voice hushed so that the others would not hear. "Were you inbound to your Cell or to Facility itself? The Network," Xeen tapped his head so that the man would understand what he meant, "told me you are with a cell called OWL. I would like to know what you and your cell does. I may need your help fulfilling my Orders from the Network."

The person seemed to give Xeen a considering look from under their cloak. Their rasping voice lowered to an almost gutteral level as they replied, "I'm OWL, but that's not a cell of anything. We're just a loose group. Like the Masons or Rotary Clubs, you understand? Not sure what Network you're talking about, unless you mean the internet."

"The Internet, of course..." He replied, tapping his fingers on the control board, "Well, I apologize for wasting your time, ser. Is there some way I can help?"
PostPosted: Mon Dec 15, 2008 9:15 pm

The person coughed hoarsely. "Stop... with the controls. Go. Just... go."

Male or female, young or old, alien or human... Clar Nex just sounded tired.

Eric chuckled, looking to Pen.
"Because it's funny, right now. It's worth more to me, no one ever seeing it, because you know I could let everyone see it." He paused, letting his words sink in, "And why would it matter if Jarred knew?"

Pen's eyes went cold silver and she turned away, "forget I asked."

"They fed me, but I never saw anyone until the Matron came to take me from there."

Hattie chuckled at Pen. "There are loads of mine and Eric's... Antics recorded on this heap."
