Robin rolled her eye faxes as fun in slow motion, as many times as she had sent faxes and received them that was never what came to her mind. She looked over hearing the flight land, was that it was it his plane? Has she summoned Hunter merely by thinking about him? That was absurd, if that had been the case he would have appeared to her long before now.

In the back of her mind she was vaguely aware that Marshall was saying something to her. Most likely she should be paying attention, she should turn her head from the gate where people were filing out at ask him to repeat that. “Excuse me Marshall.” She said instead barely flicking her head in his direction.

She rose leaving her things and started to weave her way towards the people filing out of the metal gate. Robin closed her eyes and took in a deep breath and then letting it out slowly. She popped her eyes open and took in a sharp breath. What was she doing? If Hunter was on this plane she should march back there and flirt her a** off with Marshall Atkins. It wasn’t too late was it? No matter how hard she wanted to show him she was over it she really wasn’t.

Bethany arrived safely at the airport, though she doubted highly that she would seeing as how the taxi driver sped through the city like a crazed mad man. She had been in her share of hell rides but that was by far the most fun she had had in a long time. Smiling she paid the man offering her thanks in his native language and made her way towards the entrance, her cell phone now in hand. However, she did not call him like he wanted, instead she left him a brief message and decided that was all that was needed.

This was the terminal that was stated in the invitation. They had arrived almost a week ago but made it a point to memorize which airport terminal to return too. Well, Bethany made it a point to remember, Serena and Devon were all gaga over the beautiful city and one another to really think ahead. Bethany was not so lucky to have someone to take the world away from her busy mind. But what did that matter? Her life was surrounded by everything else that time for love was limited if it was available at all. Bethany acted like a little kid and pretended to vomit everytime they displayed affection for one another. When in the deepness of her mind she was hurting.

'Oh well.' Her other self whispered as she made her way into the airport. There were many people coming and going, what could one expect from an international airport that was the greatest in size in all of France? Bethany eluded the crowds and kept her eyes on them at the same time. Her eyes scanned over the faces though none of them were familiar, until her they landed upon a lovely creature she had remembered from her past.

Without thinking, Bethany raced through the masses hitting them on accident and apologizing on purpose, until she was upon the unsuspecting woman and threw her arms around her not bothing to care about her present company. Bethany was a child in that sense where everyone she had shared a memory with was important. But she was glad to see her. "ROBIN!" She nealy screamed in a high tone, but was careful not to do so in her ears. "I am so glad you are here! They are all goo goo gaga love love! That's all they ever DO now!" Bethany was estatic. Someone else she could relate too...

The plane had finally landed. It was safe to let his stomach relax, atleast for now. The voice of the single pilot sounded throughout the private jet he had taken into France. Yes. He was that cool, owning his own plane. But he was sure that would impress no one but his own secret vanity. Of which Hunter imagined himself stabbing repeatedly because he could careless about nice things, beautiful people, and status quo. But you cannot, except figurely accomplish such a task, and Hunter had a loud mind. When others listen to their's talk, his would scream. Too bad it did not have a, 'mute,' button equipped.

"Have a nice day Mr. Valentine." Hunter turned towards the flight attendant who was currently flipping him off while her two friends were laughing. They still thought he couldn't see. How cute of them. 'Have a nice day indeed..' Hunter retrieved his things from the compartment above his seat and made his way to the door, waving to the Pilot before he left. "Screw you b***h." Hunter yelled as he stepped down the stairs and onto the pavement. The sun shining brightly in his face. Out of new habit, he shielded his eyes and made his way towards the open door terminal that would lead him to Father Atkins of whom he had shared many phone conversations with for the past month or so.

There were many people. Too many really, clouding his line of sight. Where was that guy? Someone bumped his shoulder and had not turned around to apologize. What a ******** jer.... But he then saw who it was. Could it really have been that easy? If that strange girl was here, Bethany, then perhaps there would be someone else as well, someone he had wanted to see in such a long...

And there she was, as she watched Bethany embrace her. Something inside told him that was her. That was the woman of whom he had gotten his dangerous operation for. The woman he was willing to die just to see for. It was Robin, and she was more beautiful than he could have imagined. Hunter would have to play it cool, despite his heart beating like a war drum. 'Pretend to be what you once were...' He told himself, as he approached quietly towards them.

"Have I missed the party already...?" Hunter announced as he rounded the two his bag in one hand and his heart in the other.

Robin hugged Bethany back and smiled. People didn’t just go through what they and been through and not become close. “Well, when people are in love and in France they tend to just go crazy on each other. Who knows maybe you will find a nice fellow to moon over you.” She motioned with her head to Marshall. “He has a thing for crazy I think.” She laughed.
“Have I missed the party already…?” Robin stopped at that voice and sucked in a deep breath. That voice, it sounded like him. The voice she had heard play in her head a million times over. Then he rounded on them and Robin felt her face break soften and her cheeks flush. She looked down and gazed at him through her lashes. There she was again throwing her A game faces at someone who couldn’t see them.

She withdrew herself from Bethany and went to Hunter. “Hunter Valentine. Right? You look so different, no piercings.” She reached up having the intense and focused urge to touch his face. She stopped just short of touching it. She took a deep breath realizing how absurd she looked in a jam packed airport wearing ball gown gloves about to touch a man’s face. She shook her head and looked back at Bethany and narrowed her eyes shaking her head. ‘Please don’t say anything about that.’ She pleaded with her eyes.

“Sorry, it’s um Robin, Bethany is here to. Serena and Devon but they aren’t here yet. Here I can get your bags for you if you want.” She stammered, yeah that sounded smooth real nonchalant, totally not desperate at all.

Hunter laughed at her, well, not at her. He could never, but she was so cute. How she had turned to warn Bethany not to say anything. But it was then that he felt a longing, to feel her hands on his face, how he wanted to tell her what had happened to him, what had changed in him. But it was too soon and he did not entirely know how to reveal such a great secret he had concealed for so long. It was not the time however badly he wanted to wrap his arms around her, spin her a few times and whisper into her ear how beautiful it was to finally see her glorious eyes.

"I know it is you, silly. Even after so long, I think I can recognize your voice out of millions. Sorry if that sounds creepy. You know me. Waiting outside of your house, hiding in the bushes. It helps the remembering process quite nicely." Hunter did not waste time in grasping the moment to put his hands on her. He could play it off as a welcoming tradition, but really he just wanted to make sure she was real. Hunter reached for his hands still able to convince even himself that he was blind and took her hands into his wrapping them neatly around his neck and feeling her warmth for the first time, in--well too long to be exact.

"Piercings?" He said, breaking their hold and staring at his strangely. Duh he had piercings, just, changed them up a bit. "I still got the holes. Just, changing things up a bit I suppose." Hunter poked out his tounge to reveal the round blue stone that was connected by a silver bar through and through his tounge. There were more, but he was not sure if he could pull his pants down in front of everyone and show her as if it was nothing.

"But.. do I look that badly? Or do I atleast pass the test of time?"

Watching intently, Bethany was pleased to know that Robin had not forgotten her. As for men, they could all rot in hell, right along with women. Smiling, she continued to watch Robin and Hunter in what looked to be their first meeting since the Manor incident. They looked so cute next to one another. The notion or reuniting after such a long time was something she had never experienced before, but it sure was nice to look at, if this is what it was suppose to look like, truly. Bethany waved the notion off when Robin turned to glare at her, waving her arms as innocently as she could, a warm smile on her face. It was best that she stop staring at them and turned to find a nice place to sit.

There were a few empty chairs next to the man that Robin had indicated liked, "crazy." Of course, Bethany was crazy, just not for the whole love scene. Now that she had time to contemplate it, love was for those who really needed it. Bethany was fine how she was with or without a date. Besides, love made things complicated and her life was that and more, anything else put on her plate would just be excessive. The gentle hum of voices lulled her troubled mind and she almost felt like taking a nap, but the man Robin had pointed too was Father Atkins, the man they had flown all the way from New York just to meet with.

"Father Atkins? I presume?" Bethany began, holding out her hand, recognizing her last name on a large roster beside the chairs he was occupying. "I am Bethany Thompson. My brother and sister will be here shortly after, but I decided to check you out. See how you were." Bethany actually did not decide for herself to go, but that information was unnecessary as she sat down in a vacant chair cross-legged.

Robin blushed then studied his face. Her brows knit together for a second. There was something different about those hauntingly beautiful eyes. She bit her lip and shook her head. No it was just her mind playing tricks. At least he couldn’t see how much of a fool she was being in his presence. Thankfully she was pretty much one hundred percent covered so he would be able to get a read on how confused she was feeling.

Wasn’t she supposed to be ambivalent to him? That was pretty different then having the urge to caress his face. “Of course you stood the test of time.” She watched as Bethany withdrew and she let out a breath that she hadn’t realized she had been holding. It would be easier to relax now. “Hunter.” She said the name like a whispered prayer. “I am glad we are getting the chance to work again…” she said after a few seconds.

"Oh well thank you beautiful lady. It's nice to know I haven't aged to the point you could hardly look at me. I can only concurr that's what you are doing now." Hunter saved himself. Maybe this was going to be harder than he anticipated, he had been blind for his entire life and up until a year ago he was able to gaze upon the world around him, and he could not pretend to be what he was no longer. How his life was betraying him. Hunter watched those beautiful features dance about as her face changed expression. He was having a hard time looking anywhere else. Out of all the things he had seen for the past year, nothing has compared in the slightest.

But he had to give it to her, she was smart, had he not said a word at all, he could be almost sure she would have guessed that he was different. Could read it in her face even without using any of his outerwordly powers. Robin had a power all her own her intelligence only enhanced her, it was sexy, to say the least. Hunter fought the urge to look up at Bethany walking away, instead watched her leave their presense in the corners of his eyes, until they were alone with the world walking around them. Robin said his name, she said his stupid name, and those two syllables had never sounded more sweeter in his whole life. Hunter had almost forgotten to respond to her, and lost in his thoughts grabbed a hold of his mind and smiled.

"You have no idea." Hunter relayed, almost dreamily. He could say more perhaps had they stayed in touched, he would have the gull too. But now it would seem so strange to her if he had harbored this strange crush and was conveying it as strongly as he wanted too. "Oh! Wait. I have something for you." Hunter dove into his pocket and searched therein until he retrieved the velvet pouch that inside protected a deep purple amethyst charm to add to the necklace he had given her. "I mean... I know it is wrong of me to assume.. or whatever. But... I thought you know, on the off chance. I think it is purple. If I was not lied too..." He was stuttering.

Hunter mentally slapped himself.

Robin opened her mouth to say something but then paused her phone was ringing in her pocket. She blushed and silenced it then put it on vibrate. “Sorry, that was my agent.” ‘Oh sure you are fine with trivial things like that but try saying something important. ‘ she paused again sucking in a deep breath. “I am glad you remembered my favorite color, and I am sure it is purple. I missed you, I am pretty sure I feel in love with you.” She raised her brow waiting for his reaction. Oh wait that had been in her head not something she had summoned the courage to say.

She took the pouch and opened it smiling at the amethyst charm. She pulled the chain out of her shirt then spun it to open the clasp to slip the charm on. She hadn’t taken it off ever, and she would keep it on to add another gift from him. “It is purple. Thank you Hunter.” There she went again saying his name as if it was made of gold.

“Hunter… I missed you. A lot.” She stumbled over the words and closed her eyes. That time had been for real, why couldn’t she have been eloquent, or at least sexy and confident. Why was it so easy when it was just a game but when it mattered…her phone started to vibrate in her pocket. She looked at him wanting him to react, something, anything would be nice.

Awkward silence. Oh how he hated awkward silence. But he found the words to say and was right on track. "I must be like, the only guy in your life that listens to practically everything you say then. I should start my own fan club in your honor." That was strange. "Purple. I am so glad." Even though he knew that her favorite color was purple, just as he had known her favorite perfumes, her favorite places to shop, her favorite things to do, some of her favorite memories, and none of it because he had been using his gift, but he researched. Asked around. You could say he did not take the lazy way out of this. He spent every waking moment for an entire month learning about her.

Their relationship ended the day she up and left, just like the others did. And though she had not done anything wrong, it felt as if she took the sunshine with her and darkness had consumed the greater portion of his life for an entire year. But now that she was here, in his wake, he could feel the warmth eminating from every fiber of her being. It was breath taking, to say the least. But it was his idiot fault. Had he told her what he felt about her, maybe she would have...

Nah. He was some blind freak with an odd gift. What were the chances he had with a woman who struck so much fear and wonder in the hearts of so many? If it was measured in earth quakes, then we would be talking techtonic plates moving minus a few hundred years...

"Missed me?" There was another one of her strange features, surprise. She never ceased to amaze Hunter. "Well my dear. I can say that the feeling is very much mutual." 'If not more and beyond that, if only you knew what my desk was covered in...' He wanted to say, but decided on a less crazy approach.

"I.. never thought I'd see you again." He smiled at her his eyes watching, glancing at her phone and then back at her eyes. 'Don't do that!' He yelled at himself.

Allister walked slowly, the girl had taken to following him, he hated it when this happened. Why did he want to be a musician again? why did he want to make music that he would be famous for? to have people following him around like this? Absolutely not. He kept walking, his duffel tossed over his shoulder, the headphones still turned up all the way, the music blasting into his ears. He liked the weight of the bag, it reassured him, for some reason he could not explain. He shifted it's weight slightly and kept walking, picking up speed, trying to get away from this girl Cristina.

"Just go away already", he whispered to himself, it was meant for her, but he would never be so rude as to say it loud enough for her. He may be anti-social, but he still had a shred of morality in him, and that meant he would be a 'nice' person when he had to be so.

He found the stairs into the lower level and kept walking faster and faster, he wouldn't keep this tail for much longer. Quickly stepping down each stair hastily, he lost his footing and fell. His shoulder connected with several stone steps before he hit the hard ground. He heard a thudding sound and cried out, not really in pain, but in surprise. He lay silent for a moment, trying to regain his composure, to catch his breath. Within that second, he saw that girl, Christina, rush down the stairs and kneel at his side. Her mouth moved, but he couldn't hear any of it, the music was still tearing into his brain. He felt like he had a hangover, it wasn't fun at all, he thought he might have hit his head at some point, and this just proved it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Christina had taken a liking to this guy, he was a bit older from what she now knew. His picture had been on a magazine she saw in a shop along the way, she dropped a crinkled five dollar bill on the counter and took the magazine without a second glance. She read it quickly and learned that his name was Allister, he was twenty three, and he was an up and coming musical artist. She would have been lying if she said she wasn't even slightly interested in him. She tossed it into the nearest garbage can and kept on after him, she wanted to know more, but he kept those damn things on as if they were his lifeline.
"Maybe he's a recluse?", she asked herself, "or maybe....he is some kind of mute who only 'talks' when he sings", she kept trying to explain away his reasons for being quite all of the time when not singing.
She followed closely and would not let him out of her sight, even though he kept speeding up, obviously trying to get further from her. She upped her pace and smiled as he kept getting faster and faster. They had reached the stairs faster than she had expected, but he didn't stop. He was tumbling head long before she could grab his arm and pull him to safety, now she felt bad for pushing him so far as to run down stairs.
"Oh s**t!" she yelled as she rushed down the rest of the stairs to his aide, "oh my god, Allister? are you okay?" she practically screamed into his ears. She reached down and grabbed his arms, pulling him into a sitting position, she checked his ears and then every other place she could. No CSF, no blood, he was good, well, as good as someone could be for falling down a flight of stairs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Allister Looked up at her and nodded slowly, his ears were ringing now that the initial shock was gone. His eyes hurt, his back hurt, his head hurt overall, and well...everything hurt. "God dammit", he whispered as he felt her pulling him up. He leaned up and nodded slowly as she asked him if he was alright. He stood up, grabbed her hand and pulled her along now, obviously she wasn't going to let him alone, so, he would bring her along, show her what he was up to and be rid of her as fast as he could.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Christina almost lost her balance as Allister took her hand and half dragged her along now, he was pulling her all over. "Where are you taking me?!", she yelled at him, she did not enjoy people just pulling her along, especially not strangers. He stopped short of the place she was going and turned to her and waved with a sarcastic smile on his face. She smiled back and poked his nose lightly, she was going to burst his bubble alright.
"This is where I was going too, Allister", she said as she inched closer to him, 'don't you ever do that again or I'll castrate you, hear me?', was what she really wanted to say to him, but, she knew better.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He looked at her with wide eyes, was she telling him that he would be stuck with her for as long as they were investigating that place? "Crap...".

He looked over at the already formed group,, wondering where the person was that wrote that mysterious letter, this Father Marshall Atkins. Where the hell was he? Why couldn't they just get on their way? "I...despise...people...", he said as he pushed the foam back around his ears and listened to I'm back by Dope. He was getting into that angry mood now, which would probably make anyone around him very irritable.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Her eyes shrunk into small slits, "How interesting...more time to analyze this guy", she said as she spun on her heel and headed toward the others. She grasped tighter on her luggage and dropped it next to a seat she sat in as quick as possible. How many more were they waiting on now? When could they leave so she could find her answers? 'Oh well, patience is a virtue' she thought as she let her head fall to her chest and closed her eyes. Waiting was now the game, and she could play with the best of them.
"Bethany, yes. I have you on my list. It is nice to meet you." Extending his hand to greet the dark brunette, her beautiful locks of hair flowing from her head like waterfalls. She was an alluring young girl with such a bright future ahead of her, why she would even decide to do something like this was beyond his own comprehension. Though he dared not ask, he did have the right to assume. "Father Atkins? Please, Marshall will do just fine young lady. How was your flight?" He asked sweetly entirely interested, partly out in space and a sliver worried that there were not enough hours in the day. Hoping that the flights coming into France would not be delayed, but anything was possible.
The girl actually did not arrive with luggage he had to assume and he did not see her walk from the terminals arriving in. Perhaps she had already been here long before he even arrived, he had to assume. His eyes passed by Robin and her male companion. In his hand he held the clip board and recognized the face immediatly. Hunter Valentine had finally arrived, but he did not dare take a step towards them, they needed time. He could tell.
"Tell me Bethany. What makes you want to be here?" At that moment two strange figures rounded them closer than he expected had the clip-board not been in his hand he may have reached his arm towards Bethany as if to protect her, why, he could not say. It was that fatherly instinct he could not get over, even if he hated everyone, it would still be there. "Ah. Christina, Allister, I am happy to see you have made it, and together. Do you two know one another?" Marshall stood to his feet, patting Bethany on her lap lightly before leaving. Their eyes met and he turned away towards the newcomers. "Father Atkins. I believe you recieved my letter? Though I was unable to speak with you one on one over the phone. I apologize for that." Marshall offered his hand to Allister first since he was closest.
Robin licked her lips and swallowed hard, there it was again. It was as if those eyes were tracking her. I was exhilarating. “You…” she paused her phone vibrating again. “One tinsy little second.” She held up her index finger and rolled her eyes. She pulled her phone out and stepped away from him a few steps. She flipped her phone open her jaw set in anger.
“For ******** sake Kenny do I need to fly home and fist you in the a** for you to get that I am working here? We are getting the team together then going inside. After that I will non communicado, so whatever you have to say it better be life shattering, mind blowing, and orgasm inducing got that?” Robin growled into her phone. She listened as her agent muttered some stuff to her that she didn’t pay attention too and then hung her phone up turning it off.
She stepped back to Hunter and smiled, a real nose scrunching, apple cheeked smile. “Sorry.” She audibly sucked in air and looked at him. “Hunter… can I tell you something? You know before we go in there and end up a** deep in alligators? You know in case I don’t get a chance to later you know?” she mentally gagged herself how many times had she just said you know in one breath. To damn many.
"Oh yes. Our flight was wonderful! It was the first time I had ever been on a plane be--" Fathe Atkins lost attention of her, touching her leg and leaving her alone with the rest of the empty seats. 'Great...' She thought to herself, trying not to allow her eyes to wander in that direction. There was Serena and Devon, Robin and Hunter, whether they were able to admit it or not, and now these two. Father Atkins was a priest, he had an excuse, what was hers? How pathetic she was to come to the most romantic city on earth alone? Pathetic indeed. Though she fought with herself in thinking such thoughts, but they were stronger willed than her own mind. Bethany's bright red lipstick was moving about as she made the strangest of faces, trying to avoid thinking beyond the obvious. She felt utterly alone.
"Fun fun." She whispered, digging into her bag until she retrieved her sketch book. It was no bigger than a paper back, but it had many pages of which she had scribbled things down. Devon had often tried to get her into art school because she had talent. Even Bethany knew that, but she did not want to market something had been a joy to her. Had she done it on a daily basis, it would lose it's luster. The dark haired girl with red lipstick retrieved a pencil hidden beneath the mess atop her head and allowed the lead to immediatly to mark the white fresh piece of paper she had chosen for this new piece. In a matter of minutes she had drawn a lovely portrait of herself, a nouse around her neck, her eyes lacking life at all.
Oh how easy it would have been. But she was not that emo. Not in the least bit. Bethany laughed at herself adding some more touches to the piece, still wondering where the hell Devon and Serena were. Not that it would put shame her feelings of lack, but it would atleast give her someone to talk too. Her own inner self was growing by the second more annoying as she listened to it hound the hollow of her skull cavity.
She ruffled with her black skinny jeans and re-positioned her high tops to fit more comfortably underneath her legs. Sitting cross-legged wasn't the easiest in these most uncomfortable chairs, Bethany had to lean up and rub her bottom a few times to bring the feeling back into her cheeks. One arm now rested upon her knee keeping her head up as the right hand continued to scribble nonchalantly upon the paper. It was as if she was entranced by the stokes, though they were drawing practically nothing.
"Devon, may furious angels bring you back to me.... Cause you don't want me to come get you..." She said to nothing, as if there was someone beside her, she was sure that would hit a seven on the riktor scale of craziness, but who really gave a crap? Certainly not Bethany.
Hunter watched intently as she walked away, his eyes wandering all over her body as if they were long fingers slowly gravitating over every piece of flesh she had to her bones. He tried not too, but he did look at her behind. It was quite lovely, not that he had seen his share of butts or if he was some expert on the subject matter. Everything was lovely on her, perhaps he was rushing into taking in all of her essences, but if he lost his sight tomorrow atleast he could say he witnessed every inch of her, and the memory of it would sustain him till his death bed.
Hearing the conversation, he tried not to think about who was on the other line and wanting to throw a beat down on them for making her so angry, he allowed his eyes to wander over where Father Atkins and Bethany were seated though she was not entirely with him as he had made his way towards a female and male obviously a part of the group that was heading into the house. Hunter wondered what their reasons were, but he would find out later whether they told him or not...
Robin returned to him, a little more flustered as she expressed that almost cheaply fake smile. And yet, it was as lovely. Everything she did was lovely. Even what she didn't do was lovely. "You can tell me anything Robin. You know that. Atleast, I hope you do. But, please by all means?" 'I got married and I had a kid, hows that for your too late of a crush.' His mind rang in as if he had called it to begin with. Why did he go to that instantly? 'It's your luck kid. It's ********.'
