Midas smiled and began to pack up the picnic stuff. Putting away the cups and plates and trays he had painstakingly arranged, Midas watched as Neflheim continued to talk to the two of them.
Neflheim hung his head low, a little ashamed that he hadn't made many friends during the past week. Replying softly, Neflheim said "Yeah, I'll introduce my friend to him." his voice trailed off once more. Almost immediately, Neflheim's face brightened up and he added "We can make more friends together when Joshua comes!"

Joshua liked this idea. "Yeah! And maybe Ginger and Zemel and Luc go too! You can meet them!" He smiled at his new friend, "You'll like them, they're nice! Luc likes to pretend!"
Thali smiled at Nef, and said, "Joshua's going to have his friends over soon, would you like to come too?"

Neflheim beamed cheerfully at Joshua's offer. This was like a dream come true to him and he could, finally, make more friends. Replying Joshua and Thali, Neflheim said "Yes I would love to meet them! We can play some fun games my Daddy taught me!"
Midas finished with the packing and folded the picnic tarp neatly into a square. Standing up, he said to Thali "I'll be in contact with you within the next 2 days so I can get the details about the play date. Then I can arrange transport for Neffy. Thanks for the company and thanks for offering to open up your home for Neffy." Turning to Neflheim, Midas added "Say thank you to Thali and Joshua Neffy."
Neflheim nodded and said "Thanks Thali! Thanks Joshua!", all the while carrying a huge grin on his face.
